This exceptional vessel, measuring 52 meters in length, showcases a collaboration between renowned exterior designer Emrecan Özgün of Unique Yacht Design and esteemed interior designer Hot Lab from Italy.

The Bilgin 170 sets a new standard in luxury yachting, combining innovative design elements with outstanding craftsmanship. Emrecan Özgün, the creative mind behind the exterior, has ingeniously utilized the successful platform of the Bilgin 163 to create a larger and more traditional bow shape. This design enhancement provides the yacht with spacious open decks, an expansive storage and parking area for both crew and toys, and a sleeker overall appearance when the bow has a traditional style. According to Özgün, “The layout of the Bilgin 170-I remains identical to its sibling models, ensuring familiarity and ease of use for customers. The primary goal during the design process was to optimize the 50-meter models, achieving a more sporty and masculine look while blending the design seamlessly to offer customers the ability to utilize both open and enclosed spaces under 500 gross tons. This meticulous focus on functionality and aesthetics has resulted in a yacht that truly stands out from the crowd.”

Boasting a sleek and modern design, the Bilgin 170 sets itself apart from its 50-meter predecessors. The addition of an elongated bridge deck aft, extending by one and a half meters, amplifies the living space, offering customers a spacious and inviting shaded area to unwind and savor their sailing journey. Harnessing insights gained from the 50-meter models, the Bilgin 170 seamlessly integrates a range of design elements to optimize the yacht and deliver an unparalleled experience for customers. The 499 GT cruiser is able to accommodate up to 12 guests in six staterooms and a crew of nine. The layout is exactly the same as the 163 to ensure consistency. The 170 reportedly features elegant interiors conceived by acclaimed Italian studio Hot Lab, though there are no images of the living quarters to share just yet.

Similarly, Bilgin has not specified the propulsion system, but claims the superyacht will be able to cover approximately 5,000 nautical miles at a cruising speed of 10 knots and soar to a top speed of roughly 16 knots.

“We are thrilled to unveil the Bilgin 170, a stunning yacht that represents the pinnacle of design and craftsmanship,” Bilgin Yachts CEO İsmail Şengün said in a statement. “Emrecan Özgün’s innovative approach and Hot Lab’s impeccable interior design have resulted in a vessel that exudes sportiness and elegance, elevating the yacht experience to new heights.”

The Turkish shipyard has delivered two Bilgin 163 hulls to date and has two Bilgin 170s in the pipeline. The first unit is expected to hit the seas by the end of 2024, while the second example is slated for delivery in 2025. There are also three other superyachts currently under construction at Bilgin’s facilities, including a 282-footer, a 263-footer , and a 243-footer. Just imagine all the extra space on that trio.

First interior renderings of fourth Bilgin 170 revealed

The first interior renderings of the fourth unit in the Bilgin 170 series has been released by its central agency, Fraser . The yacht is for sale and currently under construction at Bilgin Yachts ' facilities in Istanbul, Turkey. Delivery is scheduled for early 2026.

Provisionally known as NB85, the yacht has been modelled after "near sistership" Eternal Spark , which was delivered in June 2024 . Exterior design has been completed by Turkish studio Unique Yacht Design , with interiors by Hot Lab , based in Milan.

At this stage in the build, the buyer can still choose between a five and six cabin layout, an optional multi-level guest elevator as well as having full control over interior styling. Key numbers include a 9.3-metre beam, a draught of 2.6 metres and a maximum speed of 16 knots.

Hot Lab's interior proposal incorporates a palette of cream and grey and textured carpets for a contemporary aesthetic. Materials such as metal-mesh laminated flasses, chromed stainless steel and "rich Italian fabrics" would also be used throughout.

Exterior highlights include a range of al fresco dining and lounging spaces, a large sundeck pool flanked with sunpads and a beach club and swim platform. The beach club can be configured as a gym or as a lounge.

According to BOATPro , Bilgin Yachts has 10 yachts currently under construction. The second unit in the Bilgin 170 series recently arrived in Antalya, Turkey to commence outfitting, while the first unit completed its technical launch earlier this year .
