Easy Version / Ocean Version / Performance Version

An interior layout in three versions The Dufour 470, a 47-foot sailing yacht comes in three interior layouts. Every sailor will find what they are seeking, whether it’s sailing with a large or reduced crew . Design innovations allow for an optimum use of space to guarantee simple sailing while retaining very comfortable sleeping areas.

EASY VERSION

The “Easy” version is for owners and renters looking for simplicity and comfort. Its refined manoeuvring plan allows great mobility.

OCEAN VERSION

The “Ocean” version is ideal for owners who want a more traditional manoeuvring plan with the sheets positioned on the coamings and the halyard and mainsail traveller manoeuvres close to the helm station.

PERFORMANCE VERSION

The “Performance” version is ideal for lovers of great thrills and regatta sailors. With its 6 high quality winches, her traveler at the bottom of the cockpit and her “Performance” equipment, this model is transformed into a pure-racer.

The Hylas 47 is an outstanding center cockpit sailing yacht that combines ease of handling with speed and exceptional livability, with her three staterooms/two head interior. Designed by Sparkman and Stephens as a fast and strong cruising yacht, she’s capable of crossing oceans while providing comfortable living at anchor.

Named by Sail Magazine as one of the best sailing vessels under 50 feet, ONEGIN has the classic Sparkman and Stephens styling. Built to the highest quality by Queen Long Marine she has a deep forefoot, long fin keel and full skeg hung rudder to deliver an exceptional seakindly and comfortable motion, as well as speed and well-balanced directional performance underway. The Hylas 47s hull design and ~43% ballast-to-displacement ratio support a well-earned reputation as a highly respected bluewater sailing vessel.

The Hylas 47 is the perfect yacht for a planned world cruise, a family summer cruising yacht, or a comfortable liveaboard. With her draft of 6’, she is comfortable cruising in the Bahamas, and with her air draft of 64’, she is ICW capable as well. ONEGIN has always been privately owned and has never been chartered.

ONEGIN’s current owners have cruised aboard her extensively in Europe, South America and the Caribbean. They have meticulously maintained and thoughtfully upgraded her to make her the perfect cruising yacht for a couple or family.

Upgrades include all new standing rigging (2019), new electronics including autopilot (2019/22/23), a new tender and outboard (2020), Yanmar diesel removed from boat and completely rebuilt in 2019.

ACCOMMODATIONS

ONEGIN has a three stateroom layout with spacious and comfortable accommodations (7 berths not including settee) linked aft by dual passageway around each side of the companionway from the salon to the master aft cabin.

The main salon is warm and welcoming with comfortable settees and teak cabinetry. There is an L-shaped settee to port with a fold-out dining table and a bench settee to starboard incorporating a sliding navigation desk. There is an elevated sea berth above the port side saloon bench. Going forward is a double bunk guest cabin to port and guest head with separate shower stall opposite. Forward the large V-berth offers plenty of cupboards, drawers and hanging locker space. Aft of the companionway is the generous, walk-through, double sided galley to starboard and a large storage and hanging locker to port leading to a walk-through aft heads.

The master cabin features a centerline island berth stateroom with an upholstered settee, hanging locker, vanity unit, full-sized mirror and one set of drawers and an ensuite head.

Les matériaux composites, innovants et technologiques, constituent l’essentiel de la structure de nos catamarans à voile : coques, Fly, ponts, cloisons etc. Fountaine Pajot a mis au point une technique d’injection et d’infusion des résines, une technologie avancée donnant à nos bateaux toute leur robustesse. Les catamarans à voile de 40 à 50 pieds sont fabriqués au siège social d’Aigrefeuille, à quelques km de La Rochelle. Les catamarans yachts de 51 à 80 pieds sont construits à La Rochelle même, en France, ou ils bénéficient d’un cale de mise à l’eau.

Il est essentiel de définir son programme de navigation : définir la taille de l’équipage à bord, le niveau de connaissance de la voile, le projet de navigation et la zone de navigation visée. L’ergonomie des catamarans Fountaine Pajot est étudiée afin de toujours faciliter les manoeuvres au poste de barre et permettre à un équipage réduit (2 personnes) de manoeuvrer aisément le bateau, au port comme en mer. Le design unique du poste de barre permet une bonne communication entre le cockpit arrière et les espaces de détente du Fly. The ideal bluewater cruiser?

The Xc 47 marks the beginning of a completely new generation of XCruising. The concept is built on years of experience and a desire to accommodate the growing number of sailors looking for a true bluewater cruiser.

‘In short, Xc 47 is an elegant bluewater cruiser, built for safe and comfortable sailing on the oceans. Immense focus has been placed on the design to make shorthanded sailing safe and easy’, says Thomas Mielec, director of design & engineering at X-Yachts.

‘Many of our customers share a dream of heading off on a long cruise, often around the world. With this yacht, they will be ready and able to achieve this whenever the opportunity arises.

Shorthanded with ease and style

Most sailing today, even bluewater cruising, is performed with a small crew, with often just a couple of crew members, which the development team has kept in mind right from the outset of the design process. Some of the design features and functions have been seen before on other premium yachts, but on the Xc 47, they are executed with an unprecedented sense of style.

The cockpit layout has been designed to give the helmsman the capability of handling all lines. Four winches – two on each side, are positioned in front of the wheels. All relevant trim lines are led in channels under the deck from the mast to the steering position, with jammers reachable for the helmsman.

The traveller has been re-positioned from the cockpit to a position in front of the sprayhood. Apart from creating an efficient workspace, this cockpit arrangement leaves room for a comfortable living space, with the sail handling concentrated to the area at the helm station.

Near the transom, a large aft deck accommodates a comfortable full-width seating area behind the wheels, as well as a nice sunbathing area. As it should be on a true offshore yacht, the cockpit is deep, well protected, and with a closed transom.

Updated Xc design

The hull lines have maintained the deep V-shaped bow sections, generous rocker, and higher stern overhang from previous Xc models, providing the well-known comfortable seagoing characteristics. Furthermore, the aft of the Xc 47 has a modern, wider stern section, incorporating a subtle soft chine that provides extra form and stability, improved performance and more space in the aft cabins.

Carbon reinforced

The Xc 47 is built from a full vacuum infused epoxy/e-glass sandwich, together with our famous signature steel frame. Areas exposed to high loads are reinforced with carbon fiber, a part of making the yacht stronger without adding excess weight.

The first thing most people will notice when looking at the lines, is the shape of the superstructure. "We have introduced what we like to call a "semi deck saloon. This solution provides a better view of the surroundings, when under deck with more natural light, and an opportunity for multilevel floors." Says Thomas Mielec

To make sure the Xc 47 is capable of carrying provisions for long periods of time, the yacht has efficient storage volumes hidden behind the sturdy, yet elegantly crafted surfaces of the interior.

CEO Kræn Brinck Nielsen highlights, "Danish design and architecture are famous for clean and timeless style, and X-Yachts has always been a part of this tradition. Cockpit features

The Xc 47 is designed with a safe, deep, closed cockpit with wide coamings with a great overview especially from the helming positions.

Steering wheels

The Steering wheels is increased from 90 cm to 100 cm in diameterand is in the same comfortable height as on the X5.6.

Dinghy & Davits

The transom door has an option of integrated davits with the new “easy launch” function.

Bowsprit design

Longer, wider and better integrated into the bow design. Option for integrated electric gennaker furler.

Sail handling is controlled from the aft part of the cockpit. Haylards, reefing and control lines and sheets are led to the four standard self-tailing winches in front of the helming positions with the German mainsheet system operable from both sides.

Both the mainsheet and the genoa sheets are led through jammers, allowing you to easily free up a winch. The winches are arranged for optimal operation from the helming position when sailing shorthanded.

The low coaming aft of the wheels together with the foldable foot chocks ensure comfortable helming.

Compared to the Xc 50, there is about 6 cm more space between the wheel and the aft cockpit locker, for better helming comfort.

They have a capacity of 150 kg per davit and 200 kg in total. When the dinghy is hanging in the davits, there is a free view over it from the helming position, and when the dinghy is launched the davits can either lay on the bathing platform or be stored in the deep “step down” locker.

Accommodations

V-berth forward followed by an enclosed head to port and a hanging locker to starboard. Next aft is the main salon with settee berth to port and an L-shaped settee and dinette to starboard.
