  Maybe you have thought about joining a yacht club, but have been put off by the cost of belonging, the size of the big clubs, or the kind of program offered. Well, perhaps our club would appeal to you.

  Marina Yacht Club of Long Beach is a small club, with less than fifty family members. We say “family” because that’s the way we behave. Everyone knows everyone else, and we support each other in our boating life. And yes, kids are welcome.

   MYCLB has a very diverse cruise program, which includes both water and shore events. Our cruise plans range from Santa Barbara to Coronado Cays, and from Santa Cruz Island to a “Land Cruise” at Desert Hot Springs. Sometimes we even have an unofficial “Catalina Around” cruise for those hardy individuals willing to circumnavigate Catalina in December. In the colder months, we party on the hard.

  MYCLB is a member of Southern California Yachting Association, and we are reciprocal with a large number of clubs up and down the coast. If you are motivated to race, the SCYA membership allows our members to participate in many sponsored races.

  It does not cost much to belong to MYCLB. The initiation fee is about the cost of a lunch at Hof’s Hut, and the annual fee is quite affordable. We can offer this because we have no real estate to support, so we can focus on having fun and using our boats.

Brighton Marina Yacht Club is a friendly sailing and social club very much part of Brighton Marina.

We extend a friendly welcome to the many visiting sailors from around the UK and overseas who find safe haven at Brighton. You will find our Club a place to relax or socialise in good company.

Welcome to the Manly Marina – proudly operated by the Wynnum Manly Yacht Club Marina Ltd: The most protected marina in Manly Harbour with ample parking within easy walking distance to boats and full slipway services with experienced Slipmaster.

Our berths are available for rent and managed by the Marina Company. Marina berths are owned by individual club members. Berth owners automatically become shareholders of Wynnum Manly Yacht Club Marina LTD.

Berth owners pay no Government lease extension fees and retain ownership after lease extensions. Existing leases have been extended to 2053.

Our marina is quite unique and we are proud to say that we currently offer: – 280 wet berths to suit boats from 8 metres to 19 metres in length. – 40 dry berths to suit boats up to 9 metres in length on trailers. – Ample car parking within easy walking distance to boats. – 240 volt power and fresh water. – 40 dinghy storage racks with dinghy ramp and retrieval system. – A boat ramp. – Secure lockup facilities with night patrols. – No annoying walkway gates. – Walkway trolleys provided at every walkway. – Walking distance to shops and other venues. The marina is for use by club members only. Short term casual memberships are available.

All prices are effective from 1st of July 2024

• There are no refunds on Daily, Weekly, or Monthly Tenancy Agreements.
• For 3 Monthly and 6 Monthly Berth Tenancy Agreements, an amount of one month rent is non-refundable (calculated at the month rate) if the tenant vacates the berth more than one month prior to the agreement expiry date. If the tenant vacates within one month of the agreement expiry date, no refund shall apply.
• All hardstand trailers must be well maintained.
• All vessels shall have current insurance cover in accordance with marina requirements.

Slipway Services

As our marina has been built by the club members for the club members, we are fortunate to be able to offer: – Generous discounts to club members and berth owners – Self-help opportunities: Owners can carry out boat work if they wish. – Four boat trolley system for boats up to 19 metres in length. – Full washdown facility. – Lockable storage facilities for tools and equipment. – All planks, trestles and ladders provided free. – Dustless sanding and other equipment available for hire. – Covered eating area with BBQ, drink machine, free tea and coffee facilities. – Professional boat repairers and chandlery nearby.

All our services can be accessed by club members (Short term casual memberships available for non-members).

Yacht Club de Monaco: 4th Monaco Smart & Sustainable Marina Rendezvous: Monaco fosters synergies

TURIN, Italy, Sept. 13, 2024. The E-catalogue features a selection of startups and scaleups, a dozen architecture firms, nearly 30 students working in the sector, as well as a dozen marinas.

Delegates can discover and test the latest innovations from startups and scaleups in the exhibition area and attend round tables at three conferences, which will explore how technology, the banking sector and architecture can transform marinas. The two networking days are open to all professionals. This year, a call for proposals invites architects and students to design an innovative floating marina for ecologically sensitive areas. The jury is chaired by Zaha Hadid Architects, with the valuable and consistent participation of architect Jean-Michel Wilmotte and yacht designer Dan Lenard. The implementation of a floating marina project embodies a strategic response to contemporary environmental and infrastructural challenges while leveraging innovation for sustainable coastal development. At the end of two intense days of exchanges and networking, the International Smart & Sustainable Marina Awards will be presented on Monday 23rd September at 4.00pm to winners in three categories: Startups & Scaleups, Marinas and Architects (Professional & Student).

Following on from the Monaco Smart Yacht Rendezvous earlier this year and convinced of the need for a 360° sustainable approach, the organizers continue to develop the Monaco Smart & Sustainable Marina Rendezvous. "As in the automobile industry, where infrastructure has to adapt to new generation vehicles, yachting must integrate technological innovations to meet the needs of tomorrow's yachts," stresses Bernard d'Alessandri, President of Cluster Yachting Monaco and YCM's General Secretary. "Without suitable infrastructure and facilities, it will be difficult for us to move the sector forward together. It is essential to mobilize all stakeholders, from yacht designers to marina managers, to ensure a transition to smarter, more sustainable yachting". As part of the collective approach of 'Monaco, Capital of Advanced Yachting' this meeting is supported by the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation and the Principality's Digital Transition Programme, Extended Monaco implemented by the Monaco Government, along with UBS, MB92 Group and Bombardier.
