The two brothers are doing a great job. They care about the safety of the people renting and they care about the boats. The boat we hired for the day had life jackets, GPS tracking, flares, spare fuel and a spare engine. Failing that it even had oars! You will not need any of these items but they show the level of care the brothers put in. The boat was new and was excellent for the days travel around to ship wreck cove, blue caves and then down to Alykanas stopping for swimming and snorkeling along the way. A great day out enjoyed by the whole family and highly reccomended.

This was probably the highlight of the holiday, we were kept well informed by dionisis regarding times and the weather forecasts from the day we booked to the time we sailed. For our trip we travelled on a small vessel with the four of us and one other couple which in these times of covid19 we felt this was a much safer option than some of the other cattle wagon type trips. Our captain for the day was a fantastic guy called Dennis who couldn’t do enough for us from pointing out all the historical facts and sights to taking us to a secluded beach for swimming and snorkeling. In all a well organised day with safety and customer satisfaction the main focus and not just a quick buck to be made here.

, and the service was simply impeccable. First of all, we got all our questions immediately answered beforehand. Secondly, they went the extra mile in arranging an additional icebox on the boat. Thirdly, they gave us the option to postpone our trip as the weather was deteriorating just slightly – but we decided to go anyway.

Really welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable – both sons from a fishing family born in Zakynthos (although with a few years working in London – their English is exceptional). Nothing is too much trouble and you head out having had an excellent tutorial, so you feel safe and confident. Excellent value for money – we were recommended by a friend and Zante Rent Boats definitely delivered! They also gave us top tips on where to eat/buy good local produce. Highly recommended Had a fantastic time on the trip to the shipwreck, blucaves and back. We were picked up from our hotel and dropped of at the end of the trip in a very nice and clean VIP car. The captain, Andy, was very friendly and he even saved my hat when it fell in the sea.....The trip was worthwhile given the month of the season too. I cannnot recommend it enough....

Vip feeling! Super boattrip We did have an amazing trip with Seascape Vip cruises. We visited the shipwreck which was very impressive, and later we went to the blue caves and other paradise beaches where we could swim and chill. In the afternoon we got homemade snacks and champagne, sitting in the sun. We had so much luck because there were dolphins in the sea while we were sailing, so we went after them to see them.The service was very good, with a nice captain who told us a lot about the island and made us feel very comfortable. It was a great experience we can recommand for sure!

This cruise is  a perfect choice for all ages. You will start from our local port and sail towards the north of Zakynthos passing through the sandy beaches of Ambula, Alykanas and Alykes. First you will stop at the famous sulfur beaches of Xygia which is known for its’ waters with natural healing properties (good for skin&bones). a refreshing swim is always recommended here. After taking pictures of the White Cave you will navigate to the beautiful pebbly beach of Makris Gialos and then to small secluded ones where you will want to snorkles and relax. Private cruises  along the north-east coast of the island you we will  reach t he glorious Blue Caves with their shimmering waters for more swim. Get ready to be mind blown as your skippers will show you the caves from the inside and a few unique secret spots.

Experience the breathtaking beauty of Shipwreck Beach in Zante. An unforgettable trip awaits for you. Take a dip into the crystal clear waters and explore hidden underwater caves, perfect for snorkelling. Don’t miss out on this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity!

This cruise is twice a day (morning and afternoon) We will  pass the beautiful sandy beaches of Alykes and Alykanas and make your first swim stop at the Blue Caves where your experienced captain will drive you through the most famous arches of Zakynthos! You will then head for the island’s top highlight the ”Smugglers Cove’ ‘ also known as the Shipwreck or Navagio beach. If you choose the morning scheduled trip you will be one of the very few tourists that will have arrived there at this early morning times meaning that you will be able to enjoy a peaceful and exclusive time! . On your way back to the port more swim stops will follow in less known locations for a more exclusive time. Islolated co ves and beaches such as Atsiganos beach, the cove of St. Andrew and Philippoi beach. Additionally upon arrival back to the blue caves you will have the chance to explore underwater caves, feed the fish and if your feeling brave you should let us know as cliff jumping is on the list. The tour includes a photostop or a quick swim at the Saint Nickolas port, Makris Gyalos and Xigia Beach. An option for lunch or to grab a coffe may also be possible (please advise with your captain or hostess).

Cameo Laganas, Turtle Island, Keri Caves & Mizithres Beach

Half day 3 hours or 6 hours.

Explore the spectacular National Marine Park of Zakynthos on a magical tour and witness the majestic loggerhead turtles “Caretta Caretta” swim gracefully in the crystal clear waters of the Keri Caves. An unforgettable experience awaits you!

Located in the south of the island, Marathonisi, also known as the “Turtle Island” is home to our famous island residents, the Caretta-Caretta loggerhead turtles! Marathonisi is part of the National Marine Park of Zakynthos and a perfect location to meet the turtles up close. On this turtle spotting tour you will cruise along the east coast of Zakynthos where you will have the oppertunity to view the islands prettiest sandy beaches of Vassilikos.

Our first photo stop is at Peluzo, a small uninhabited island with an amazing beach with beautiful rock formations. You will then visit Marathonisi, where you can see the turle nests and relax on its golden sand. Your next swim stop is at the majestic Keri Caves. These breathtaking caves in the South-West area of the island, are accessible only by boat. The water is crystal clear with amazing blue and emerald colours you will want to dive in.

Next our turtle spotting adventure begins in the National Marine Park. This area is also known for sightings of dolphins and seals. Your captain will ensure you get the most out of your experience whilst searching for these lovely animals. Get your cameras ready for a quick photo as they will only pop their head to take a 1 second breath!

Private Cruise All Around Zakynthos Island

Full day trip approx 7/8 hours.

Don’t miss out on a chance to discover all that Zakynthos has to offer in one incredible trip!

In this cruise you will see the entire island by the sea! Cruise Zakynthos island in an exceptional, luxurious way! Avoid the crowds at your own private cruise in Zante. Your first photo-stop will be at the fishing port of Agios Nicholaos where the ferry to our neighbour island Kefalonia leaves from, you may grab a coffee here or fill up your drinks/snacks cooler. As you reach the northern part of Zakynthos you will see – one of the islands top highlight – the Blue Caves with their incredible arches, your experienced skipper will drive you through. Get ready for your first swim stop as this is a perfect spot for snorkeling! Next stop the world famous Shipwreck also known as the “Navagio Beach”. Visitors here will have the chance to jump into crystal clear waters nearby and take the picture of a lifetime. A few isolated coves with shimmering waters will follow before we reach to Porto Vromi, a small fishing port created by nature, where Poseidon’s face (Greek Mythology God of Sea) is formed from the rocks!! You will continue cruising the west coast of Zakynthos passing the beautiful coves of Kambi, Porto Limionas, Porto Roxa, Korakonisi and the Seal’s Caves of Agalas. Just below the Keri lighthouse Mitzithres Rocks with the crystal-clear blue-green waters along with the caves of Keri and the rugged hillsides make up an breathtaking scenery that you will never forget! Our aim is to find isolated coves for you to swim and relax.. We will now enter the National Marine Park in the gulf of Laganas for a chance to photograph the Loggerhead sea turtles also known by locals as Caretta-Caretta.  Get your cameras ready to capture these amazing creatures as they can be extra shy and come up to breathe for just a second! Next on our list the inhabited island Peluzzo. If the sea conditions allowe it you may have a quick swim stop here before we cruise along the east coast of Zakynthos making our way back to the port.

Highly recommended Had a fantastic time on the trip to the shipwreck, blucaves and back. We were picked up from our hotel and dropped of at the end of the trip in a very nice and clean VIP car. The captain, Andy, was very friendly and he even saved my hat when it fell in the sea.....The trip was worthwhile given the month of the season too. I cannnot recommend it enough....

Vip feeling! Super boattrip We did have an amazing trip with Seascape Vip cruises. We visited the shipwreck which was very impressive, and later we went to the blue caves and other paradise beaches where we could swim and chill. In the afternoon we got homemade snacks and champagne, sitting in the sun. We had so much luck because there were dolphins in the sea while we were sailing, so we went after them to see them.The service was very good, with a nice captain who told us a lot about the island and made us feel very comfortable. It was a great experience we can recommand for sure!

Deze 2 broers doen er alles aan om je een geweldige dag op het water te bezorgen! Veilige, nieuwe boten, navigatiesysteem aan boord voor als je onverwacht hulp nodig hebt, goede service en uitleg, eerlijke prijs! Rij de weg af naar de haven van Agios Nicolaos, Volimes en je vindt de heren langs de weg in hun paarse ‘kantoor’ gemaakt van pallethout met daarop de foto’s van hun nieuwe boten. Er zijn vele boten te huur op Zakynthos, maar wij raden jullie het huren bij Zante rent boats zeker aan voor een fantastische dag op het water!

The two brothers are doing a great job. They care about the safety of the people renting and they care about the boats. The boat we hired for the day had life jackets, GPS tracking, flares, spare fuel and a spare engine. Failing that it even had oars! You will not need any of these items but they show the level of care the brothers put in. The boat was new and was excellent for the days travel around to ship wreck cove, blue caves and then down to Alykanas stopping for swimming and snorkeling along the way. A great day out enjoyed by the whole family and highly reccomended.

This was probably the highlight of the holiday, we were kept well informed by dionisis regarding times and the weather forecasts from the day we booked to the time we sailed. For our trip we travelled on a small vessel with the four of us and one other couple which in these times of covid19 we felt this was a much safer option than some of the other cattle wagon type trips. Our captain for the day was a fantastic guy called Dennis who couldn’t do enough for us from pointing out all the historical facts and sights to taking us to a secluded beach for swimming and snorkeling. In all a well organised day with safety and customer satisfaction the main focus and not just a quick buck to be made here.

Last week, we rented a boat with

, and the service was simply impeccable. First of all, we got all our questions immediately answered beforehand. Secondly, they went the extra mile in arranging an additional icebox on the boat. Thirdly, they gave us the option to postpone our trip as the weather was deteriorating just slightly – but we decided to go anyway.

Dionysus and Andreas are legends. Really welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable – both sons from a fishing family born in Zakynthos (although with a few years working in London – their English is exceptional). Nothing is too much trouble and you head out having had an excellent tutorial, so you feel safe and confident. Excellent value for money – we were recommended by a friend and Zante Rent Boats definitely delivered! They also gave us top tips on where to eat/buy good local produce. “ Alien: Romulus ,” the latest installment in the 45-year-old franchise, opened in first place at the North American box office.

The 20th Century Studios release earned an estimated $41.5 million in its first weekend, where it was playing in 3,885 locations in the U.S. and Canada.

Including $66.7 million from international showings in 49 markets, “Alien: Romulus” boasted a $108.2 million global debut.

The Walt Disney Co., which owns 20th Century Studios, claimed the top two spots on the charts, with Marvel’s “ Deadpool & Wolverine ” now in its fourth weekend, taking second place with $29 million. The company has been responsible for an estimated 42% of the industry’s summer box office haul, including hits “Inside Out 2” and “Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes.”

August can often be slow for the movie business, or, less charitably, a dumping ground. But while 2024 has lagged overall for the movie business, a string of recent hits including “Deadpool & Wolverine” and “ It Ends With Us ” helped build a momentum that put this late August weekend over 30% ahead of the same weekend last year. It’s also up over 10% from August 2019.

“The summer started off pretty gloomy, but it’s winding up really strong,” said Paul Dergarabedian, the senior media analyst for Comscore. “We thought we were going to coast through August, but now we’re powering through August towards a much better overall summer number than we expected for the box office.”

Fede Álvarez directed “Alien: Romulus, ” set around the time of “Alien” and “Aliens,” and recruited a cast of up-and-coming 20-somethings to lead the cast including Cailee Spaeny, David Jonsson and Isabela Merced. The sci-fi film leans into Álvarez’s propensity for all things horror, as he is known for “Evil Dead” and “Don’t Breathe,” and embraces the franchise’s horror roots.

Reviews have been a little mixed, but mostly positive, with an 81% on Rotten Tomatoes. Audiences gave it a B+ CinemaScore.

The romantic drama “ It Ends With Us ” landed in third place with $24 million, down just 52% from its triumphant opening.

The Sony movie starring Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni, who also directed, has made $97.8 million to date. It cost only $25 million to produce.

The film was adapted from the bestselling Colleen Hoover novel of the same name that follows Lively as Lily Bloom, a woman at a crossroads when a past love upends her current relationship with Baldoni’s Ryle Kincaid.

Rumors of behind-the-scenes drama on the film also continues to dominate social media discourse and tabloid headlines — but “Don’t Worry Darling” also taught us that gossip and chatter don’t always translate to box office returns.

“Twisters” placed fourth in its fifth weekend with $9.8 million from 3,483 theaters. The Universal release has made over $238.4 million domestically.

Rounding out the top five was a re-release: “Coraline,” which Fathom Events put on over 1,500 screens for its 15th anniversary where it made $11.3 million in four days and $8.6 million from Friday through Sunday.

The stop-motion animated film was an adaptation of a Neil Gaiman novella, written and directed by Henry Selick and marked the first-ever release for Laika. It’ll be in theaters until Aug. 22.

“Borderlands,” the video game adaptation starring Cate Blanchett, Kevin Hart and Jamie Lee Curtis, brought in $2.4 million in its second weekend bringing its total box office earnings to $13.5 million compared to its reported $120 million budget.

Estimated ticket sales for Friday through Sunday at U.S. and Canadian theaters, according to Comscore. Final domestic figures will be released Monday.
