Motor Yacht

An example of radical design in custom yacht construction, Feadship brought a unique vision by the Eidsgaard Design Studio to life in a record 33 months. The launch of Halo in 2015 not only brought a unique new 57.45 metre superyacht to the water, but another outstanding stylistic evolution to the Feadship custom build portfolio.

Halo was designed to cruise the world, with a range of 5000 nautical miles and effortless cruising speed of 16 knots this superyacht isn’t just about style, but comfort. The 6 stateroom layout offers space for 12 guests, while style and design studio Bernardi Peschard created the interior atmosphere throughout in their first move into the superyacht world.

The interior features light oak, dark woods and lots of bronze inlays in a surprisingly modern style. All the main guest suites and the owner’s stateroom are on the main deck – offering panoramic views for all through the windows – and there is a VIP stateroom on the bridge deck with the same degree of finish as the master.

Halo’s exterior features dark window bands in a warm grey Awlgrip Mocca which unite the side deck windows. These windows are intersected by huge silver metallic arches that run from the bridge, up and over the sun deck, creating the sun deck roof as well as the side tracks for the sun awning.

The sun deck, for example, is exceptionally large for a 57- metre yacht, extended some five metres further forward than would normally be the case on this size of superyacht. The dark grey coloured custom Jacuzzi stands out visually, and can be easily covered by an innovative carbon fibre sun awning built into the canopy that slides out electrically.

Halo is a ‘remarkable achievement in every respect’ in the eyes of her builder, with a striking exterior which has gathered global attention and innovative design elements focussed solely on creating a unique and comfortable experience on the water.

Further forward, the vessel features an enclosed mooring deck, with hatches that open on both sides, and a helicopter platform. If the midday sun becomes too much, you can get immediate relief at the touch of a button, thanks to a carbon fibre sun awning that shades her 200-square-metre sun deck. It’s the perfect spot to grab a refreshing juice at the sit-up bar before grabbing a nutritious lunch at the circular table amidship.

You can enjoy an active afternoon by working your way through the updated toy box of the HALO motor yacht or jumping off her fold-down swim platform and into the sea. If you prefer, you can pop ashore via her touch-and-go helipad for some retail therapy, hiking or beyond.

As the evening unfolds, you can flop out in the main salon across her multiple comfy sofas and then make your way to the formal dining area for a sumptuous dinner. For your evening entertainment, head back up to the sun deck for some after-dinner cocktails and then kick back on the large sun pads to watch your favourite movie in HALO’s outdoor cinema.

A specialised crew of 14, including a personal trainer and yoga instructor, will help your HALO yacht charter run smoothly.

When you want to get out the water toys, you’ll get to choose from Seadoo Sparks, Seabob F5Ss, a Yamaha Superjet wave runner, paddleboards, wakeboards, sea kayaks and more. And if you want to head ashore by boat, there are two custom D-RIB Compass tenders waiting for you.

HALO Yacht – Awesome $71.5M Superyacht

The HALO yacht is a stunning superyacht built by Feadship and launched in 2015. Her modern styling and design was the work of Harrison Eidsgaard.

Powered by 2 x Diesel 12V 4000 M63 MTU engines she can comfortably reach speeds of up to 12 knots with a top speed of 16 knots.

HALO carries approximately 125,000 liters of fuel in addition to at least 25,000 liters of water. Up to 12 guests can be accommodated on HALO as well as additional space for a crew of up to 14.

The HALO yacht interior was designed by Bernardi Peschard. She was the first superyacht project that they designed and it surely does impress.

There are six cabins that can comfortably accommodate up to 12 guests, one of which is the owner’s suite which has a private office.

Specifications

Built with a steel superstructure HALO yacht measures in at a length of 188 ft (57.47m). Her Beam is 34 ft (10.5m) while her draft is 11 ft (3.25m). Powered by twin MTU engines she has a range of 5275 nautical miles.

HALO was built by world-renowned Feadship and has a gross tonnage of 1001 tons. Harrison Eidsgaard Design was responsible for her impressive design.

This all-aluminum unique HALO yacht was designed to have a shallow draft allowing her access to low-depth waters.

Her outdoor living spaces showcase three exquisite decks where guests can enjoy incredible views while relaxing.

The HALO yacht was recently listed for sale by Edmiston & Company at a price of €64,000,000 though the exact sale price is undisclosed.
