The 10 Best Gay Sailing Trips in 2024

Going on a gay sailing trip is one of the most enjoyable and relaxing vacations you can take. The destination options range from the Mediterranean and Caribbean to the Panama Canal or even Tahiti. On a gay sailing trip, the entire boat is full of LGBTQ+ guests and all staff has been extensively trained to provide you with a welcoming and gay-friendly experience. It’s a very open environment and one where you can relax both mentally and physically. The environment is friendly with a great social atmosphere. And depending on the size of the boat, there might even be entertainment included onboard.

There are a number of companies that offer gay sailing trips in different destinations around the world. It’s important to note that the experience on a small sailing boat of around 10-20 people is quite a different experience than a gay cruise which would normally take place on a larger ship with hundreds or thousands of people. A sailing trip is more intimate, relaxing and casual than a gay cruise. However, larger sailing ships holding between 50 to 250 guests might feel a bit more like a small gay cruise.

What Can You Expect on a Gay Sailing Trip?

By joining a gay sailing trip you can enjoy a port hopping vacation around beautiful coastlines with gay guests from around the world. You’ll stop at the best gay-friendly locations in the area for you to explore, as well as have the opportunity to relax on great beaches for an afternoon dip. You will generally sail several hours each morning or early afternoon and then arrive in port with enough time to explore the port town or city, relax on your private yacht or sailing ship or find a nice cocktail sunset bar. ​Sailing trips typically last about a week in length and you will have daily swim stops, a selection of beaches, a handful of gay bars and a great selection of restaurants to choose from.

Gay sailing trips generally fall into two categories: small sailing boats (e.g. a private yacht) and medium sized ships. Small boat sailing trips are nothing like gay cruises. In fact, besides being gay and taking place on a boat, they couldn’t be more different. You can think of a small boat sailing trip a bit like glamping. All the great elements of being outdoors, enjoying the sun, nature and the sea. But instead of your luxury tent being stuck on the ground, your private yacht takes you to a new destination each day with meals and swim stops along the way. All with the comfort of cozy cabins, onboard bathrooms and showers, plus a professional crew to sail your boat and prepare your meals. 

You can opt for a small boat with a more intimate feel or take one of the medium size ships, which tend to have a wide range of entertainment but are less intimate. Medium size sailing trips feel a bit more like a gay cruise and you might expect 50 to 250 guests onboard. A small gay sailing boat on the other hand typically only has 6-20 guests onboard so it’s much easier to meet and connect with other guests. With the smaller boats you also feel the sailing experience — the wind, the sea and the sun — ​​much more personally and you have a lot more freedom with your skipper to adjust itineraries or stop for a quick swim. You can literally just jump right off the side of the boat due to its small size. Medium sized ships on the other hand have a more fixed itinerary and you feel less with nature and the sea. The trade off is that the medium size ships have many more amenities like a gym, spa, bar and onboard entertainment. They also tend to be more expensive but offer a more luxurious experience. The experience on a small sailing boat is not ‘roughing it’ by any means, but the space and shared quarters are smaller and more casual. 

The other determining factor in selecting a gay sailing trip is typically the destination and sailing itinerary. While you can technically sail just about anywhere along the coast or open sea, the sailing experience is most enjoyable in locations which offer warm weather and smooth seas. This tends to limit the destinations to popular sailing routes in places like Greece, Italy, Croatia or the Caribbean. Small ship sailing is a fun experience because you will dock in small port towns that you might not otherwise explore on a traditional land trip. Medium sized ships tend to dock in larger towns or cities but not always. 

While we enjoy small ship sailing and large gay cruises alike, our favorite between the two are the smaller, private yacht experiences. We love being immersed in the sea, enjoying amazing views among the beautiful coastlines and also getting the opportunity to connect with the other guests in the boat. On most sailing trips, the group will enjoy both breakfast and lunch onboard together typically prepared by a host who also assists the skipper while sailing. These meal opportunities just aren’t quite the same on the larger ships. However, if you’re looking for a bigger ship with great amenities and want a more romantic and private experience with your partner, then a medium size ship might be the best option for you. This is particularly true if you have a larger budget and prefer luxury travel. 

Why Take a Gay Sailing Trip?

There are a lot of great benefits of choosing a sailing trip as a holiday or vacation compared to other types of land trips or travel experiences. Here are a few things to consider when deciding. 

Easy to meet new people – one great aspect of taking a gay sailing trip is that most of the guests are friendly and open to meeting new people. On the small boats you simply can’t avoid meeting your travel companions as the experience is so intimate. On the larger sailing ships, there are many activities that help connect guests to give you a better chance at meeting people as well. 

Travel alone – most gay sailing companies offer a cabin match program where they will assign you a roommate, so you don’t have to pay for the full price of a two-person room if you’re traveling alone.

Be yourself – probably one of the most attractive parts about a gay sailing trip is the comfort zone. The entire boat is full of LGBT+ guests and all crew has been extensively trained to provide you with a welcoming and gay-friendly experience. It’s a very open environment and one where you can relax and be yourself without fear of harassment. 

Enjoy nature up close – We love being immersed in the sea, enjoying amazing views along the beautiful coastlines and feeling the wind glide across your body sailing from port to port. This is the feeling you get on a smaller boat and you also experience the sailing first hand as the captain steers the boat right next to you while adjusting ropes and sails to adapt to the wind. On a small boat you can even learn to sail yourself if you want. You also have a lot more freedom with your skipper to make random stops in a cove for a quick drip or to explore a nearby beach. The smaller private yachts literally allow you to jump right off the edge into the sea, an option not typically possible in the medium sized ships which feel more like a small gay cruise. 

Clothing-Optional – many gay sailing trips are considered clothing optional which means that you’re welcome to take it all off or leave it all on during your times sailing at sea. Of course, once you pull into port, you’ll need to cover up a bit since your port neighbors won’t want to see your white bum or man parts hanging about. Generally the clothing optional trips happen only on the smaller sailing boats. 

How to Choose the Best Gay Sailing Trip?

Determining which gay sailing trip to take is completely subjective. People have different preferences, budgets or destinations in mind when it comes to booking a trip. All the companies listed here are highly recommended and have great reviews, but you want to make sure you pick the right trip for your travel style and preferences. Below are a few tips to consider before booking your trip.

Destination – decide if you are going on a gay sailing trip for the ports of call, for the sailing experience in general, or both. Some people might prioritize the destination over the sailing so be sure to check out the route and places you’ll visit to help you decide.

Budget – the price of the trip is an obvious factor. You’ll need to add the price of flights or transportation into your budget so the location of the departing and arrival port should be part of your planning process. The entry-level price to a gay sailing trip typically starts around $1,500 per person for a week-long trip.

Size – it’s important to decide if you prefer a large group or small. Large groups and full ship takeovers offer great parties and header liner entertainment, but some people may want to avoid the crowds and opt for a more intimate experience on a smaller sailing boat. The difference between the two can’t be emphasized enough because the experience of a small sailboat with just 8 guests on board is worlds apart from a larger ship with 250 people. 

What’s included? – most gay sailing trips come with a crew/staff to sail and serve food and the price usually includes the cabin, some or all meals and onboard entertainment (for larger ships) in the price. However, unless you book an all-inclusive trip with Brand g, these items are typically not included in the price: pre and post hotel stay, land tours and excursions, specialty drinks/alcohol and airport transfers. One of the nice parts about private/small sailboats is they allow you to bring your own alcohol onboard. Simply stop at a shop in port to stock up on wine, beer or spirits which keeps your travel spending down. Medium sized ships with a full bar usually ban bringing alcohol onboard so you may need to factor this into your total trip cost.

With " GaySail Exclusive " sailing cruises we offer our customers a wonderful luxury sailing experience. In our program we have lots of Exclusive Group Cruises, see Thailand , Saint Martin & Saint Barth , Croatia , Montenegro , Seychelles and Tahiti .

On exclusive cruises you can book as a single, couple or group of friends. All GaySail Exclusive sailing cruises include accommodation on a spacious luxury sailing catamaran, the service of a gay skipper and a gay cook /co-skipper, as well as breakfast & lunch, soft drinks, port dues, taxes, cleaning and fuel.

Everyday we enjoy a great sail in lovely sunny weather and each day we drop anchor in a different anchorage. Breakfast and lunch are on board and prepared by the cook. If possible we anchor for lunch and a swim. In the evening we have dinner in one of the nice restaurants in a bay or local towns. The cruises are always in small International Gay Groups, 1-3 Catamarans, so 10-30 guys. It’s always a mixture of singles and couples, all ages. Each trip is accompanied by an experienced gay skipper and cook/co-skipper, who know the most beautiful spots, the best local restaurants and fantastic sights to see and do.

It does not matter if you are into sports or would rather lie in the sun all day. While we are sailing, you can help with the sails, the anchoring manoeuvres, and  help steer the ship. You can join us for 1, 2 weeks or more. During your trip you  can learn as much sailing as you want or improve your knowledge of sailing. No  sailing experience is needed. If you just want to relax, you are most welcome to  enjoy the sea & wind and to soak up the sun at you leisure (swim wear optional  :)  on the front deck. Have a swim and enjoy the food, it’s your holiday! Next to wonderful sailing and all the related avocations there will be plenty of time to explore some of the islands and enjoy the anchorages. We drop anchor in secluded bays, hike to ancient temples and amphitheaters, visit local markets, rain forests and sip frappe at Greek and Croatian tavern's or cocktails at the beach bar. 

Boarding time for GaySail Exclusive cruises starts always at 5.30 pm. If you make flight arrangements you can fly in on the day of boarding and fly out on the day of disembarkation. If you want to arrive some days before of leave later, we can advice you in your choice of hotel if you want. When you arrive you will be welcomed by the skipper and the cook with a drink and a snack. Then the cabins will be divided. On board there is a fully equipped galley with a fridge, stove and of course there are toilets and showers. Before we set sail we put money in a common wallet, "the Kitty" which is then managed by one of the guests. From this wallet we pay all our common costs for dinner and drinks. People who don't drink any alcohol pay 20% less. According to established custom, the skipper is exempt from a contribution.

You can either start in Athens which is convenient, but are longer sailing days or start and end in Mykonos and make a party of it!

Croatia Gay Sailing Trip 2024: Join Pride Sailing Holidays!

This Croatian gay sailing trip will travel between Split and finish in Dubrovnik (different dates also offer the option Dubrovnik to Split).

Date options – July 22, August 5, September 9 and 16.

• 7 days island-hopping along the picturesque Dalmatian coast

• The route includes the vibrant islands of Hvar and Korčula, the peaceful national park Mljet and many more islands in between.

The plan is to switch off and relax as you spend leisurely days at sea navigating some of the Adriatic’s more remote islands and making new friends.

You can learn how to sail, or just spend afternoons lazing on your yacht and topping up your tan, before wandering secluded villages as our crew take their time to show you another side of Croatia.

Croatia Gay Sailing Trip: Detailed Itinerary 

Day 1 saturday – split to milna.

Split (Marina Kastela) to Milna – the group will set sail once everyone is all boarded and head straight to the port of Milna, where you can explore the town and grab dinner, or enjoy cocktail on the boat.   

Evening:   

• Local restaurants
• Cocktails on the boat 
• Visit old wine makers 

Day 2 Sunday – Vinogradse Bay

Vinogradse Bay – start the day right by leaving early and having breakfast while looking for a swim stop and have lunch after swimming before heading off to Vinogradse Bay and enjoy the sunset whilst having dinner and cocktails.  

Activities: 

• Swim / snorkel 
• Paddle boarding  (if requested)

Evening: 

• Water taxi to Hvar (optional extra) 
• Sunset cocktails at Hula Hula bar
• Bars / nightclubs / restaurants / jazz bars
• Local tavernas 
• Beach clubs 

Day 3 Monday – Vis

The yacht will depart early to get a head start on the day’s activities and to secure a berth on the very popular town quay, so you can hop on, hop off your private yacht.

You can take an excursion to the Blue Caves, Green Caves & Stiniva Bay. Once everyone is done with the action-packed stuff, next is the town of Vis where you can take a wine tour, military tour or just wander the streets at your own leisure. 

Vis is also home to some of the filming for Mamma Mia 2, they have a beautiful open air cinema screening the movie. 

Activities:    

• Swim / snorkel / scuba / free diving
• Paddle boarding (if requested)
• Blue Caves / Green Caves / Stiniva Bay fast boat tour
• Town sight-seeing
• Military tour

• Hire a scooter or car and explore the island

Day 4 Tuesday – Korcula

Here you have sunset drinks atop a turret with the most spectacular views.

After sailing down the Dalmatian coast, you will arrive at the postcard-perfect marina in the heart of fortified Korčula Island with plenty of time to wander the old backstreets.

Korčula is the hometown of Marco Polo as well as a plethora of restaurants, bars, and jewelry stores. You can enjoy a sunset cocktail overlooking the sea before dinner.  Sunsets are not to be missed; a great vantage point is from the old turrets.

• Bars / Cocktails in old castle turrets
• Spectacular restaurants 

Day 5 Wednesday – Pomena

First there will be a stop in the crystal-clear waters for a swim, wine & lunch, before heading into Polače. You can bicycle through the National Park and around the beautiful lake for a golden sunset. 

• Paddle boarding
• Mljet National Park tour (above)
• Cycle the lake
• Explore the monastery   
• Traditional tavernas 

Day 6 Thursday – Okuklje

This is a short sailing day, which means leisurely sailing and long swim stops.

The group will sail down the coastline to find hidden gems, for a swim-stop, lunch and refreshments before continuing to a little bay and traditional fishing village where time stands still and the hospitality second to none in Okuklje.

Enjoy a leisurely breakfast before heading off on your final voyage on your Croatian gay sailing holiday to the fortified town of Dubrovnik.

Day 7 Friday – Dubrovnik

Go get lost in the beautiful Old Town

Again, one of our favorite places in Croatia, Dubrovnik is simply stunning. 

As you arrive in the beautiful historic town of Dubrovnik, you can take a stroll, marvel at the beautiful architecture, and try to soak it all in. Before the sun sets, upi canl explore the Old Town and catch the sun setting with a cocktail and your new friends. Dubrovik also has access to a gay beach via a short boat trip and Dubrovnik also now has its very first gay bar called MILK .

Activities:

• Town sight-seeing 
• Explore Dubrovnik Old Town 

Day 8 Saturday – Dubrovnik

Dubrovnik: Check out at 8am. Sadly it is time to say goodbye, until next time.

There are 14 spots in total spread across two yachts.

There will be people travelling with theirs partners, friends or as many do, come solo and make a whole group of new friends!

You will also be joined by a gay friendly skipper and host/hostess.

What is the Yacht like?

The yachts being used are modern, comfortable and luxurious. Picture yourself lying on deck topping up your tan with beer or cocktail in hand before diving into the crystal-clear waters to cool down!

Pride Sailing Holidays has gay sailing availabilities from June through September in Croatia, Greece and Italy. Standard trips are seven days, include 8 guests (plus captain and host), include breakfast/lunch, and are packed with fun activity options.

Joining Gay Sailing Holidays with wolfyy I partner with Pride Sailing Holidays, one of my favorite gay tour and vacation companies , hosting my own personal boat trips as well as helping interested guys book their own reservations to join pre-scheduled trips or charter their own private boat. Pride Sailing primarily operates Croatia gay sailing trips and Greece gay sailing trips. Custom routes are also available, though. I can give you details about special sailing trips in Italy as well as Turkey. Most guys book single spots, joining a boat with other single guys. Couples or pairs of friends also book cabins of their own. All boats hold 8 guests, plus the captain and a host. There are four guest cabins, each shared by two people. Most guys book a single spot just for themselves. Some individuals who want extra privacy book two spaces in order to have an entire cabin to themselves. And remember that it’s also possible to privately book a boat with your own group of friends! Next, I’ll tell you all about what the gay sailing experience is like, so you know exactly what to expect. After, I’ll go over the granular details of boats, meals, and other specifics in the frequently asked questions section. Everything below is based on my experiences sailing in the Mediterranean with Pride Sailing Holidays. A Typical Week Gay Sailing Whether you’re sailing the Croatian Islands or the Greek Islands, there will be plenty of activities, new sights, fun guys, and delicious food. Daytime Gay Sailing Activities Each morning we have breakfast and immediately set will sail for a couple of hours. Everyone enjoys the open sea and luxurious yacht sun deck and lounge area. In the afternoon, we drop anchor and have some time for swimming, lunch, and relaxation on the bow of the boat. Some days there will be pit stops to local islands or beautiful coves. There is always some sort of exploration going on. Local excursion bookings will be available on certain afternoons, like group cave tours or wine tastings.  Nothing is ever mandatory, though. You are totally free to relax on the boat, go on a solo journey or just have some alone time if you need it. Toward mid-afternoon, we will arrive at our destination port for the evening. After reaching this stop, everyone is free to come and go from the boat as they please. It’s super chill and there’s a little downtime before any evening activities.  Some groups will plan to go bike riding, hang on a local beach, or just walk around taking in the gorgeous architecture. Everything moves at a relaxing pace so you’ll never feel rushed. About half the nights, optional group dinners are organized by the sailing company at the best local restaurants. You’ll certainly get a taste of the local cuisine. Gay Sailing: Evenings & Nightlife During the evenings, everyone is quite eager to explore. There are plenty of opportunities to meet other gay travelers on other boats in the port. Most of the time, Pride Sailing is operating several trips in tandem, so there may be another group or two of 8 more guys to meet. Depending on the location/island, there may be nearby bars, clubs, or parties to visit. In  Korčula, Croatia  there is an epic foam party.  Dubrovnik has a huge nightclub with top DJ performances.  Depending on the itinerary (which I’ll explain later in this article), there will be different nightlife options roughly half of the nights. Everyone is free to spend the nights as they wish. There is no curfew, but it is expected that everyone acts in a respectful manner. The next day, we will do it all over again in a new, beautiful place. Get ready for some clear blue water, a little rosé, and sunshine! Now you’ve got the idea. It’s a super chill, fun week with good people, delicious food, and an opportunity to meet amazing islands. By the end of every gay sailing trip, you’ve bonded with wonderful new (or old) friends and I guarantee you’ll be hugging everyone goodbye, eager to book another season! I hope you consider joining me for gay sailing! Next, I’ll discuss the guys who typically book these trips so you have comfort in knowing how smooth the trip will be. After that, I’ll list the different itineraries available. Gay Sailing Trips: What Are the Guys Like? It may seem intimidating to join a gay sailing trip at first. Sometimes guys are skeptical about booking group gay-oriented vacations. Rest assured though, I wouldn’t compare gay sailing holidays with anything like an Atlantis Cruise . The sailing experience is tamer, more personal, and filled with much more authentic exploration and culture. In my experience, everyone who books these gay sailing holidays is fun, energetic, polite, and open individuals. Everyone is interested in making new friends. Plus, those who want a private experience will typically just book their own boat altogether, meaning you won’t ever have to worry about feeling out of place! At the end of the trip, I always receive the same feedback from all the guys. They love the intimate, small-group setting.  Everyone ends up mentioning that one of their favorite aspects of the trip was having a smaller group of friends that can connect with one another. I agree 100%. As opposed to the frenetic large gay cruise line excursions, you can build better relationships on a smaller gay boat trip! At the end of your holiday, you’ll have a bunch of new, quality friendships. Gay Sailing Itineraries All the gay sailing holidays start on a Saturday. Keep in mind that for some trips, these itineraries will be in reverse depending on which origin-destination you choose. Here are the gay sailing itineraries for Croatia and Greece. Croatia Gay Sailing Itinerary: Split to Dubrovnik Saturday : Meet & greet in Split , set sail, arrive in Brač for a nude beach adventure. Sunday : Sail toward Vinogradse Bay, stop for a swim, and cocktails in Vinogradse Bar. Then grab water taxis to the party island of Hvar . Monday : Sail to Vis , explore the island, take one of my favorite Croatia island tours to the Blue Caves, and enjoy a 5-star local dinner with local wine. Tuesday : Sail toward the historic small city of Korčula , home of Marco Polo. Enjoy rooftop cocktails with unbeatable views of the Adriatic Sea. Wednesday : Sailing toward Polače, break out the wigs for a fun-themed sail, plus a pit stop for champagne and swimming in a local bay. Bring your best sexy gay swimwear ! Thursday : Short sail to another town on the island of Mljet called Okuklje. One of the smallest Croatian towns, you’ll get a taste of local life. Friday : Start the journey toward Dubrovnik . Upon arrival, prep for cocktails in the Old Town, then a night out in Dubrovnik’s mega-club. Saturday : Breakfast, hugs & goodbyes. From here, you’re free to extend your trip on your own! Greece Gay Sailing Itinerary #1: Ionian Route Saturday : Check-in, meet & greet & a quick sail over to Spartochori for a wonderful evening. Sunday : Vathy , Ithaka: Morning swim at the Blue Caves (Lefkada), then a luxurious afternoon at Tilemachos Beach. The remainder of the evening will be in the port of Vathy. Monday : Sami, Kefalonia : Morning swim and breakfast before heading to Sami for an afternoon of activities: Visit the Melassani caves & Myrtos Beach for sightseeing or a wine tour. Tuesday : Fiskardo, Kefalonia : Relax on white-sand beaches, then anchor in a protected bay for the evening. Visit the town of Fiskardo for dinner and evening cocktails. Wednesday : Sivota, Lefkada : Stop at the famous Porto Katsiki beach for lunch, then sail to the traditional of town Sivota for the evening. Thursday : After several beach stops, we spend the evening in Kalamos . Friday : Morning swim, then an afternoon stop at a beautiful beach bar to enjoy our final swim and relaxation in the sun before the port of Lefkada . Saturday : Breakfast in Lefkada, hugs & goodbyes. From here, you’re free to extend your trip on your own! Greece Gay Sailing Itinerary #2: Athens / Saronic Islands Saturday : Depart from Athens , make a quick sail to Aigina & drop anchor in the bay for a calm evening. Option to head to Perdika. Sunday : Sail south to the great island of Hydra . Explore the busy & charming port. Enjoy a spectacular sunset. Monday : Head toward the charming town of Ermioni . Tuesday : Hop over to  Spetses , the busiest town in the Saronic Islands. Wednesday : Sail to Poros and explore the bustling local life and colorful architecture. Thursday : Visit Epidavros, the largest, and oldest Greek Amphitheatre. Good day for hiking and exploring the ruins. Friday : Sail to Athens, explore the city, grab cocktails, and hit the nightlife spots. Saturday : Breakfast in Athens, hugs & goodbyes. From here, you’re free to extend your trip on your own! Gay Sailing FAQ’s We’ve covered the basics, so now I’ll answer common questions about smaller details that I get from many guys thinking about joining. What is The Boat Like? Croatia gay sailing trips will use the Beneteau Oceanis 48 yacht. The boat sleeps 10 people. There are four double beds for 8 guests and two bunk beds for the Capitan and host. There are three bathrooms on the boat, all equipped with a shower and space to store toiletries. Many island locations offer free shower facilities on land near the port. Greece gay sailing holidays are on a Lagoon 42 catamaran . This boat is incredibly luxurious, way more spacious, and always exceeds everyone’s expectations. The Lagoon 42 has four cabins on board, each with its own bathroom. Two cabins are master suites, with walk-in showers. Crew sleep in separate top-entry cabins at the front of the boat. All the boats used for the gay sailing holidays are comfortable, clean, and have loads of room to spread out. You can lounge in the seating area at the rear of the boat or lay out your towels and take in some summer sun on the bow. Even with 8 guests and 2 crew aboard, space doesn’t feel tight at all! Trust me, I’ve been there. If anything, it’s more fun because its always friends to hang out with. Should I Buy Travel Insurance? Travelers are strongly recommended to obtain a CFAR travel insurance policy , which is short for “cancel for any reason.” This guarantees that your hard-earned trip is safe from unforeseen situations like flight cancellations, COVID-19 complications, or any other of the long list of potential reasons. What Meals Are Included? What about Food Allergies? Breakfast and lunch are included, personally prepared by the boat staff. Each morning you’ll wake up to a wholesome variety of breakfast foods and mingle with your yacht-mates. After some daytime activities, fill up on a hearty, well-balanced lunch. We don’t skimp on meals. There is plenty to eat! The crew can customize all meals to the groups liking. If anyone has allergies, we can surely avoid problem foods. Delicious summer salads, fruit and cheese platters, and hearty chicken bowls will keep you energized and ready to explore the sea. For dinner, the group will have reservations coordinated at a local restaurant. Everyone is also free to go out on their own for dinner if they choose to. Dinner is not included, so you’ll need some spending money for evening meals. Is Airfare Included? You will be responsible for scheduling and purchasing your own flights to and from our destination. The booking price does not include airfare. Remember that depending on the trip, you may need to book two separate flight legs. For instance, a sailing trip may begin in Dubrovnik and finish in Split . Is Alcohol Included? This depends on the trip. All trips will have at least a few complimentary bottles of champagne, wine, and basic liquors. Beyond that, the price does not include unlimited alcohol. Remember though, we purchase the alcohol in bulk from a nearby liquor store, so the price is not high. You’re not paying for individual drinks, here. If you wish to pre-order any beverages, we can make it happen. You’ll also have time to shop at a market before we set sail for the week. Do We Sleep on the Boat? Is there Air Conditioning? Yes, everyone sleeps on the boat. We dock in a marina each afternoon. Arrival time varies based on whether the day’s itinerary includes swim stops. In most locations, there will be convenience stores, pharmacies, and other essential establishments, should you need anything. Depending on the itinerary, some sailboats have air conditioning and others do not. Greece gay sailing trips on Lagoon catamarans will have air conditioning (both the Athens and Ionian routes), while Croatia gay sailing adventures will not. Even in the middle of summer in Croatia, it is not too hot when you’re out at sea. (Greece is a different story, though!) There are dozens of little windows so air off the water is constantly flowing through the rooms of the boat. Plus, we are sailing and not wearing much clothing anyway! I personally have had no issue with overheating on a sailing trip. How Much Does It Cost to Book? Check the respective company for pricing.
