- The Absolute Prisma
- Technical Specifications
Absolute 60 FLY, a variety of possibilities is now ready for you. The evolution of our Flybridge range enshrined in a yacht, to be lived and discovered.
Absolute 60 FLY The Absolute Prisma
A new dimension of nautical living, 60 FLY – The Absolute Prisma – expresses all the innovation of our shipyard by implementing revolutionary solutions for a boat of this size.
The design is dynamic and captivating, with external lines enriched by elegant transparencies thanks to the new glazed balustrades; large windows surround the main deck, creating exclusive contrasts and giving the interiors unparalleled luminosity.
The aft cockpit is incredibly spacious and comfortable, does not include fixed structural elements, and can be furnished according to the actual use. You can simply choose between the various available configurations the one that most suits your onboard lifestyle and create spaces dedicated to the landscape, sociability, family, friends, and total freedom.
Thanks to two wide side staircases, it is possible to easily access a very large platform: close to the water and perfect to enjoy the sea. Because of the generous dimensions, there is enough room for a fixed section that offers a comfortable entrance to the crew cabin through a pantograph opening concealed in the transom.
A versatile and multifaceted yacht that actually offers multiple versions of herself, thanks to different configurations to furnish cockpit and salon, according to the actual use and for an ideal liveability in any occasion.
The interiors are designed with comfort in mind, furnished with elegance and embellished with the use of fine materials. Salon, galley and cockpit are adjacent and connected by a continuous design. The perceived sensation is of a large space without boundaries, enriched by modern lighting and entertainment systems, ergonomic air conditioning system and helm stations designed in detail, to be technologically advanced, comfortable and functional all at the same time. Absolute has always devoted particular attention to technological innovation, and the 60 FLY is proposed to the market with an equipment of the latest generation.
Below deck, you will find the owner’s quarter waiting for you: a full beam cabin without equals, with comfortable internal heights, exclusive furnishings and high-quality finishes. A refined and quiet environment, dedicated to absolute comfort and privacy, with a large walk-in closet, a sea view vanity and large side windows to feel totally immersed in nature. The real revolution? The owner’s quarter is at the bow, in a reserved area on a middle level between the main and lower decks, separated and far apart from any disturbances for the best experience on board.
The VIP cabin is, in all respects, comparable to a master cabin; queen size bed and plenty of space both for storage and for living, with en-suite bathroom with separate shower and elegant marble counters. The third cabin is equipped with two single beds, noteworthy are both the floor without steps and the ceiling height, comparable to the other cabins, not to mention a large window.
Finally, the crew cabin is directly accessible from a pantograph door camouflaged in the transom.

Absolute Yachts 60 Fly Review
- By Phil Draper
- February 23, 2022
The design of the Absolute Yachts 60 Fly points the way ahead for the Italian builder. Key to the new look is the chopped stern and “cockpit terrace,” which dispenses with the usual molded transom in favor of an essentially blank-canvas, 160-square-foot aft deck. It has nothing more than a stainless-steel guardrail and glazed balustrade to separate it from the swim platform. Gone is any built-in furniture; instead, owners can choose modular furniture or anything else.
The result is serious, customizable outdoor space. The same is true on the flybridge, which hangs over most of the side decks and virtually the whole aft deck. The flybridge measures around 300 square feet with booth seating, a wet bar, and a helm console with one or two seats. There’s more open space aft for owner preferences. The forward half of the flybridge is protected by the hardtop, and most of the remainder has an electrically retractable sunshade.
And there’s an additional 140 square feet of space on the foredeck with another sun pad, bench sofa and table.
When it’s time to retreat from the outdoors, the salon has the galley aft and to port, with various lounge and dining options to starboard and amidships. Headroom throughout the salon and on the aft deck is just over 6 feet, 6 inches. There’s access to fresh air via a drop-down window to port and the side-deck door adjacent to the helm, which is a twin-seat affair to starboard. The principal veneers throughout this model are stained Alaska oak—some matte, some high-gloss.
One of the 60 Fly’s defining features is the master stateroom forward. Its door is off a dogleg staircase that takes people forward and then aft from beneath the windshield. Hullside windows are the giveaway from the exterior to the owner’s stateroom location. Inside, they open up the space dramatically with light and views. There’s a forward-facing centerline queen berth, a vanity/desk and a walk-in closet. The en suite shower is tucked into the forepeak and also has sea views.
For guests, there’s an en suite stateroom amidships with a transverse double berth to starboard, and a twin-berth stateroom to port with use of a separate shower room that serves as the day head. All the guest berths have 6.5-foot-long mattresses (crew berths are slightly shorter). The double-berth stateroom also conceals a surprise: A door in the back of the closet leads to a long, low technical space that extends from atop the keel amidships all the way forward to the thruster tunnel. Alongside, there’s space for stores.
A crew cabin for two with a head/shower is tucked inside the transom. The entrance is via a pantograph door in the transom and a companion hatch in the deck. This cabin could handle extra guests too. Kids of a certain age will love it.
Power is twin Volvo Penta D11-725 IPS950 diesels. The 60 Fly I got aboard was lightly loaded with four people, 30 percent fuel and an empty water tank. Flat-out, the yacht managed just over 29 knots downwind and a little above 28 knots on the reciprocal heading. The Volvo Penta Interceptor system and the NG9 Seakeeper were active throughout the sea trial. At a typical fast cruise of around 22 knots at 2,250 rpm, the fuel burn was around 56 gallons per hour, which meant a range of 280 nautical miles or so was possible. For those who are happy to bumble along at 8 knots, the fuel burn fell away to 8 gph, which extended range to about 900 nm.
Helm ergonomics are good, and there’s a nearly 360-degree view from the helm, save for the galley area and a bit of a stoop for those of us north of 6 feet tall when the yacht is bow-up and on-plane. The 60 Fly handles well and is satisfyingly quick in the turns. This boat had Volvo Penta’s joystick and autopilot system too, but it didn’t have the Dock Assist option, which, from experience, I thoroughly recommend getting. One 12-inch Garmin multifunction display comes standard, but two 17-inch units are an option. There’s room for a 12- or 16-inch multifunction display up top.
The base price for the 60 Fly is $2.1 million. With a strong set of options, as seen on this 60 Fly, expect to sail away for around $3 million. The big-ticket extras include the hardtop, the 882-pound hydraulic platform, the Seakeeper NG9 gyrostabilizer and teak decking.
At the time of my October run off Varazze, Italy, the first three 60 Fly hulls were close to their final destinations. Our ride was destined for an owner in Croatia, the second was bound for Florida, and the third was heading to Hong Kong.
In other words, the Absolute 60 Fly has global appeal.
Hitting Stride
Flybridge motoryachts around 60 feet are popular, and Absolute has two other Fly models that size already: the 58 Fly and 62 Fly, each with a conventional amidships master stateroom. For now, at least, the 60 Fly will join them instead of replacing them.
Surprising Texture
The walls are done in interesting cloth-effect panels made from wood with printed-fabric patterns and a high-gloss lacquer. Those panels are real touch points, and I still can’t quite believe they’re not actually a fabric.
Quietude Throughout
At full speed, I recorded 85 to 86 decibels at the helm (about the same as a gas-powered lawnmower) and 82 decibels at a fast cruise. At 8 knots, the level was 74 decibels, and at 5 knots, it was 71 decibels (about the volume of normal conversation). In the staterooms, the numbers were much the same. Noise in the master was mostly related to water running over the hull. At 10 knots, the owner’s stateroom registered 76 to 80 decibels.
Solar-Power Assist
Instead of a sunroof in the hardtop, Absolute is now championing the installation of solar panels up top. Given the appropriate weather, the panels can deliver 1.5 kW of peak power, which will run all the usual hotel systems during the day, save for the AC. That means this yacht can be truly silent at anchor, with no need to run the generator.

Absolute 60 Fly: Silence is Green
- October 28, 2021
Showing its focus on a greener future, Absolute has included solar power on the first hull of its 60 Fly, a model with a clear cockpit and aft flybridge designed for modular furniture, as well as a memorable master suite located forward on the lower deck.
By Clare Mahon
The Absolute 60 Fly debuted at Cannes before showing at Fort Lauderdale
You’ve got to hand it to them: the team at Absolute Yachts never rests. Just about a year after launching their Navetta 64, they’re at it again with the new 60 Fly, one of the Italian builder’s two world premieres at this year’s Cannes Yachting Festival.
While the volume-maximising lines that characterise the shipyard’s look remain the same, there are lots of pleasant surprises aboard this new yacht. And one of them is completely intangible.
The cockpit is visually connected to the large swim platform, which is 5m wide and 2m deep
The Absolute 60 Fly continues the inland shipyard’s tradition of engineering for comfort, performance and quality of life at sea. Starting from a beach platform that’s over 2m long and almost 5m wide, you can sense the 60 Fly is going to have what it takes to make a great vacation.
With a hydraulically operated up/down mechanism, the platform is large enough to be furnished with lounge chairs, making it as suited for sunbathing as it is for swimming and launching the tender and toys.
The cockpit is clear of fixtures, accommodating modular furniture
Steps lead up from the beach platform to the aft cockpit where the chrome rails have glass panels under them, so the two areas are in direct visual communication. Due to modular furniture designed in-house and first used aboard the Navetta 64, the aft cockpit can be arranged to taste, ideally with the couches facing sideways over the water.
As the furnishings can be removed completely, use of the cockpit is flexible and adaptable according to different needs and uses throughout the arc of a day.
The cockpit shown when set up for dining
The cockpit is shaded by the overhang and can be fitted with privacy screens while the entire beach area can be shaded by a concealed awning, keeping the whole area private even in a crowded bay.
FORWARD AND ABOVE
Covered side passages lead to the foredeck, which is furnished with a couch, table and sun pads. Closer inspection of the sun pads reveals that they have headrests that easily flip around to become backrests in case the seating arrangement planned for this area calls for two couches.
The foredeck has a sofa, table and flexible sunpads
Breezy and open, the foredeck is perfect for lounging by day, enjoying a drink in the evening or even dining. This area can also be shaded by an awning.
From the yacht’s name you know the fly deck is going to be important – and it doesn’t disappoint. A stairway leads up from the port side of the aft cockpit. Like in the cockpit, the aft section of the fly can be set up with modular pieces according to need and taste, while the aft enclosure is in transparent glass so it doesn’t feel enclosed at all.
The flybridge’s aft area is free for loose furniture
Under the hardtop there’s a bar with a sink and grill to port and a U-shaped couch with an inlaid teak dining table to starboard. The helming area is convivial, with two seats by the wheel, sun pads right next to it and a banquette across the way. This is clearly a boat that is a pleasure to use in company.
SOLAR-POWERED SILENCE
But the best part of the flybridge isn’t visible even when you’re on it. Absolute’s engineers have been testing solar panel setups at their shipyard in Podenzano for the past couple of years. They finally found an arrangement that meets their standards and have installed it on the hardtop of the first hull of the 60 Fly, which will offer it as an option.
Solar panels have been fitted on hull one of the Absolute 60 Fly
Cesare Mastroianni, CCO of Absolute, explains: “We test everything in-house. Even the glass we used under the railings was crash-tested at the shipyard in the presence of RINA-certification technicians. We had wanted to provide a certain amount of renewable energy aboard our yachts, especially for running them in hotel mode with the engines and generators off, so we began testing solar panels a couple of years ago.”
The system installed on the 60 Fly produces 1.5kW, enough to run the fridge, water heater, entertainment system and more for hours without using the generators. Owners and captains can monitor energy consumption on the Garmin screens, so they always know how much energy is being used – and how much is left
Systems can be monitored at the main-deck helm, which has a side door
“Although the solar power on this model is not enough for running the AC, we installed windows and portholes that can be opened for natural air circulation through the yacht,” Mastroianni adds. “With this setup you can enjoy time at anchor in total silence with zero emissions, a real plus.”
AIRY INTERIOR
All this and we haven’t even visited the inside yet. The galley is to port as soon as you walk into the saloon, with a dining table to starboard. Drawers fitted for storing plates and glasses are concealed under the furnishings and open easily and silently with Absolute’s elegant leather drawer pulls.
The aft galley to port is opposite a dining table
The entire saloon has floors in roughly finished walnut and is on the same level as the aft cockpit, so with the large sliding glass doors open, indoors and outdoors are like one continuous space.
The window behind the couch in the comfortable living area opens for natural air circulation and there is an up/down TV.
The saloon benefits from huge windows all around
The twin-seat helm operates a Volvo Penta IPS propulsion system with joystick control that’s operated via intuitive Garmin touchscreen monitors. Absolute was an early adopter of this energy-efficient, low-vibration propulsion system as it chimed with their values of intelligent consumption and onboard comfort.
FORWARD MASTER
There are just five steps down to the full-beam master cabin, which is one of the yacht’s standout features due to its location fore on the lower deck.
The elegant master suite has large forward windows
The centrally placed bed is backed by a panel of velvet and gets excellent views through large panes of glass that include opening portholes for natural air circulation.
This is no plain vanilla interior: textured walls, dark and light contrasts and tactile, luxurious finishes abound. In the master bath, also full beam and fitted in stone, a testament to Absolute’s careful engineering is the way the shower floor follows the yacht’s hull shape, to the benefit of draining water quickly and efficiently.
The master suite’s dressing table to starboard
The en-suite VIP amidships is just as elegant and well-appointed as the master. Intriguingly, a secret door at the back of its large closet conceals … a large storage space.
Built where Absolute used to place a twin cabin, this space can be used for provisions, extra toys and equipment or anything else a seafaring family might want. An additional twin cabin has a bathroom that can also be used as a day head.
The VIP cabin to starboard has an inward-facing bed and en-suite bathroom aft
But there is still another cabin aboard, the two-person crew cabin accessed from the transom. Its separate access route guarantees privacy for the owners and guests, although could also make it a bone of contention for those who want to go out at night and sneak back in the wee hours undetected.
The Absolute 60 Fly has all the characteristics of intelligent construction, engineered systems and well thought out spaces that you expect from this shipyard with the added, yet intangible, plus of green efficiency. While the 60 Fly may not be the largest yacht in the Absolute fleet, it represents a big step towards their greener future.

Absolute Yachts 60 Flybridge
The new Absolute 60 Flybridge is cleverly named "The Absolute Prisma", after the geometrical, transparent shape of a prism which separates white light into a variety of colors. The colors produced seem endless in their possibilities and shades. Similarly, the 60 Fly offers endless options to enjoy the ocean in ways you never thought possible. Both the social aspects and the living accommodations have become even more versatile than before, allowing for new experiences on board. Several new design changes and innovative ideas have been incorporated into the new model which Absolute says will redefine its flybridge range.
From its exterior, there are several noticeable attributes. The salon windows are wide, high, and pillarless giving the interior guests exceptional views. There are massive windows on the lower deck, particularly in the bow where Absolute has now placed the owner's suite. Some of these salon windows can even be opened to allow in the seabreeze. Whether formally entertaining guests or cruising for a week with friends, the 60 Fly will create the ideal atmosphere.
The flybridge has excellent dimensions taking advantage of the 16' 2" beam. Aft on the bridge, there are new glazed parapets balustrades which offer an elegant look, while also creating a safer environment to move about. The terrace is spacious and fun, essentially creating an outdoor living area with views. The flybridge includes a galley, a dining area, and a lounging area, all with wonderful finishes. Forward on the bridge is the upper helm station which consists of all of the communication and navigation electronics needed to safely operate the yacht. The helm is designed to be modern and ergonomically-positioned for comfortable operation. Finally, the hardtop features solar panels on top which offer extra power while also being environmentally friendly.
The bow lounge area features multiple seating and sunbathing options, a wonderful area for guests to enjoy the sun while at anchor or a slow cruise. There is a curved sofa with pedastal table for outdoor dining or cocktails. The extra-large sunpad features a backrest near the top so that guests can face the bow pedastal table when hors d'oeuvres are served. Absolute has continued to be at the forefront of maximizing the bow area for enjoyment.
The cockpit on the 60 Flybridge is like a blank canvas waiting for your ideal configuration and desires. Designed to offer maximum versatility, there are no fixed structures on the cockpit to force you into any specific seating arrangement. Modular furniture allows you to furnish the aft cockpit as you see fit. Finally, the transom platform is wide and spacious, perfect for watersports, and has crew cabin access through a pantograph door that is hidden in the design.
The interior living and dining spaces are designed with comfort in mind, elegantly furnished, and accented with the fine materials. Salon, galley and cockpit are adjacent and connected by a continuous bow to stern design. The entire living space inside the 60 FLY is techologically advanced, comfortable, and functional at all times. All of the equipment on board is of the latest generation.
On the lower deck, you will find the owner’s stateroom waiting for you. It consists of a full-beam cabin that is incomparable to other boats in its class. You will immediately notice the large internal heights making it feel comfortable, as well as the exclusive, high-quality finishes. The owner's suite is a refined, quiet environment, dedicated to absolute comfort and privacy. Enjoy extended cruising thanks to the large walk-in closet, a sea view vanity, and large side windows to feel totally immersed in nature. The real revolution new to the 60 FLY? The owner’s suite is placed at the bow in a reserved area, mid-level, between the main and lower decks, separated, and shielded from any disturbances for the best night's sleep.
The VIP statement is nearly comparable to the master stateroom in size and comfort. The queen size berth leaves plenty of space both for storage and for living, with en-suite bathroom featuring a separate shower and elegant marble counters. The third cabin consists of two single beds, noteworthy are both the floor without steps and the ceiling height, comparable to the other cabins. A large window luminates the third cabin as well.

Launching the New 60 FLY and Coupé Range for Generation 2022
The Evolution of The Absolute Shipyard.
Absolute Yachts approaches the start of boating season creating high expectations for the Generation 2022 new models. A very optimistic opening awaits our shipyard thanks to the launch of a brand new range, as well as two exciting new models.
The first revolution will take place with the arrival of the 60 FLY, a completely new model called “The Absolute Prisma”. A yacht that will redefine the range with new ground-breaking design elements never seen on a Flybridge boat of these dimensions, such as the Owner’s quarter at the bow and the aft cockpit terrace , free from any fixed furniture elements. As the prism reveals the several colors through the light, the 60 FLY by Absolute is the prisma revealing an overturning of perspectives, an evolution for the range and for the owner, too. With the new 60 FLY, a versatile life on board and liveability of the spaces are now ensured.
A new perspective is offered by the bow master cabin – thanks to the Owner’s quarter concept: a cabin which takes up the full beam of the boat, unprecedented on a 60/70-foot yacht. The cabin is raised from the lower deck, the ceiling is high, and the array of textures and colors chosen for the interior design will satisfy even the most refined tastes. The atmosphere is sophisticated and relaxed, dedicated to the owner’s comfort and privacy: the walk-in wardrobe, the vanity with a sea view, and the wide side windows to feel fully immersed in nature complete the ambience.
The exterior lines are now enriched by elegant transparencies, thanks to the glazed balustrades that offer breath-taking views from both the fly and the cockpit: the latter, thought without fixed elements, can be furnished at the owner’s taste for the first time.
From the aft cockpit there are two comfortable staircases, ideal to reach the wide platform to enjoy a terrace just above the sea; the ample dimensions of the platform offer a comfortable entrance to the crew cabin, through the pantograph door concealed in the transom.
On the upper deck, the Fly area offers a second open-air salon totally immersed in the surrounding landscape, whose generous dimensions are just waiting to be lived: al-fresco galley and dining area, lounge space, high-tech helm station are framed by elegant design lines, color contrasts and refined finishes.
Even the bow area is designed for maximum versatility of use thanks to a comfortable sofa with table, a sunbathing area, and music: social boating and privacy, all in one, day and night.
The Absolute 60 FLY boasts the latest generation technology, featured in modern and ultra-accessorized dashboards, with clear instrumentation always at your fingertips. Both helm stations on the main deck and flybridge have double piloting seats, ergonomic and modern. From the main deck dashboard, a very wide windscreen, with minimized and rounded side support pillars, guarantees an unobstructed view of the horizon. Even on the flybridge, a safe navigation topped with conviviality is ensured, thanks to the sofa and sundeck placed next to the helm, allowing the captain to drive with company. A third mooring station is also available at the stern, which can be integrated in a dedicated cabinet in the cockpit on starboard side, equipped with joystick, bow thruster control and engines ignition panel.
Great care for the furniture as well: on board the Absolute 60 FLY modular furniture can be adapted to the actual use. The areas are dedicated to the social moments with family and friends, to enjoy panoramas in complete freedom: various configurations are available for the owner to choose from, in order to fully enjoy the on-board life as desired. The green attitude of the shipyard proves itself thanks to the opportunity of integrating the solar panels into the hard top to ensure a lower environmental impact. Moored at anchor, the owner can enjoy the silence completely immersed in nature, by using solar energy to operate the essential services on board, without the continuous use of generators. The safety standards fear no competition even with larger models, and the spaces usability is top-notch both for the storage and for maintenance and spaces inspections activities.
The rendezvous with the international press is planned for June at Marina di Varazze (Savona, Italy). It will be a preview of the new Absolute 60 FLY, a first boating experience reserved to the press. The official presentation to the public will take place during Cannes Yachting Festival in September 2021, where Absolute will also introduce the first model of the new upcoming range, the Absolute 48 Coupé.
