Watergate Yachting Center was established in 1965 on 45 acres along the south shore of Clear Lake, Texas. We are less than an hour drive from the city center of Houston and only 15 minutes from Galveston Bay by water.
Watergate Yachting Center has over 1100 floating, fixed and covered slips available. Our friendly staff can help you find a perfect location for your vessel! Our amenities are outstanding with two pools, lots of close parking, several restrooms and showers, tennis courts and friendly, responsive service.
The lush, sub-tropical, well-maintained landscape has earned this marina the prestige of being the “Most Beautiful Marina” on clear Lake from the Marina Association of Texas. The landscape provides a sanctuary to many coastal wildlife species and gives our tenants a resort feeling.

From Route 2094 (aka Marina Bay Drive.): Turn onto Admiralty Way and go all the way to the stop sign.
Turn Left and proceed all the way to the end. Very close to the end, on your right, is Pier 24; there is where your boat is. Park in that area.

I called the Marina, Debby answered and said they have no transient slips. The docks are close to a hotel with a pool and hot tub.

"What is available?" We never think about what is unavailable. It's noteworthy to see what this place does not offer. No fuel dock. No ship store. No pump out. No Wi-Fi on the Docks or slips, (Wi-Fi is included, NOT!) No dock boxes unless you pay extra or get your own (A dock box is in the lease) No heat (or a/c) in the lounges. No Heat in the Pool, No Hot tub and they took out the sauna. No dedicated dock personnel to assist. No active system to address boat owner needs. However, they do have one of the highest mooring fees in the area. They also have one of the most complicated and demanded lease requirements. But their landscaping is nice. If you sign a 12 month lease you get the first and last month Free, (well not quite true.) You pay for 12 months and then when you ask about the 1st and last free you are told that you got a discount each month?? So, a slip is really $450 a month?

Watergate is our home marina. The marina is well cared for and has all the comforts. Conveniently located off the Galveston Bay in Clear Lake with easy access and well protected. We are new to the area and checked out many marinas. Watergate remained at the top of the list and ended up becoming home. We highly recommend for long or short term docking.
We kept our boat at this marina for 2 years. It's one of the best marinas I've ever been in. The facilities and onsite amenities are outstanding. It's sheltered but still provides quick access to the Bay and it was surprisingly affordable. West Marine and Home Depot are within a 5 minute drive, and lots of cafes, bars, and restaurants are nearby. You also have the Kemah Boardwalk just down the road for the kids. We highly recommend this marina.

The marina is well cared for and has all the comforts. Conveniently located off the Galveston Bay in Clear Lake with easy access and well protected.
The marina offers two established and well maintained swimming pools with ample convenient parking close by. East Pool has an island in the center with tropical palms and a trickling fountain. Clubhouse #1 is on the grounds along with a laundry. Bath house nearby. A fenced in Childrens playground and two tennis courts also nearby.
