We’ve categorized the stiffness of our boards into 3 main groups, listed below.  The general rule is the faster you’re skating, the stiffer the deck, but this is not universal.

Flexy – Soft and supple flex profile best suited for carving and cruising on longer boards. The bouncy nature of these decks lets you turn deeper and surf your surrounds.

Medium – The do it all of our boards, a perfect balance of stability and carve. 

Stiff – From cruisers to downhill boards a stiff flex profile excels in stability and responsiveness.  Whether you’re dipping into driveways or bombing a mountain pass you’ll be down with the stiffness.

Axe throwing's history is an intriguing topic. due to the low cost of production, axes have been used as both a tool and a weapon throughout history..

Some of the first tools used by humans were axes. In the Stone Age, they were widespread and commonly used throughout Europe. When they were first created, they lacked a handle (or haft), and the cutting edge was fashioned from stone. They became weapons very quickly. Throwing axes, however, were not utilized until 400–500 A.D.

Among throwing axes, the Francisca axe is arguably the most well-known. It was a weapon in the early middle ages. It was widely recognized as the national weapon of the Franks, but many other Germanic Tribes also employed it at the time. 

Some historians contend that axes were not actually thrown during wars. Historians think it would be foolish to lose a cherished weapon and then find themselves defenseless in the face of their adversaries. They contend that it was instead utilized for food hunting. Thrown weapons were frequently employed because it was difficult to get within an arm’s length of an animal.

Some historians contend that throwing the axe came before engaging in hand-to-hand combat. They gave their combat operations a psychological advantage. It was challenging to estimate where the axe would land because the Francisca frequently had a random trajectory. Enemies would frequently flee after a salvo (a simultaneous discharge of artillery in a battle) out of concern that another one would follow.

Coming To America

Axes were transported to the New World by Europeans initially and Native Americans received them as tomahawks from them. Legend has it that the North American frontiersmen were the ones to host the first axe throwing contests. Even so, there are rumors of axe throwing matches between the Celtic tribes. Axe throwing is still a well-liked sport in many lumberjack sporting events. Walk-ins: How do they work: First-come, first-served walk-in sessions are available, but feel free to partake in any of the entertaining activities we provide while you wait. Your best option is to just reserve the slots if they are offered through our reservation system, especially on weekends and league nights!

How long is the training session?

After a 5-10 minute demonstration, our instructors will make their way around to your groups individually to assist as needed or requested.

What should I wear?

Shoes with closed toes are the only thing we require. We advise putting on apparel that enables full range of motion.

What ages can throw?

Ages 8 and older who are accompanied by a parent or legal guardian are welcome. Our throwing coaches will assess your throwing ability.

Do I need a large group to throw?

Anyone can book! No large groups required.

Can we just get a range to ourselves?

All bookings will be given their own lane. Our private room is still in development.

What if we are booking separately, but want to throw together?

Please let us know which throwers you want to be grouped with in the comments section during checkout. While we’ll try our best, making a single appointment in one person’s name is the only way to ensure that you are all in the same range.

BIRTHDAY PARTIES, BACHELOR PARTIES, and TEAM BUILDING EVENTS. How do we arrange this?

As each event will be unique, we advise getting in touch with us to let us know about your specific requirements. The sooner you get a hold of us the more amazing we can make your event! Features we can include to customize your event include: slideshow above our fireplace and mantel, group photos or videos, community based games, team building competitions, giveaways, customer signature walls and many more! This will enable us to provide you with the best booking alternatives based on the size of your group, the dates, etc. Want to drop off goods for your event, including cupcakes, birthday cakes, or any cutlery? Additionally, we provide storage choices! If you make reservations in advance online, don’t forget to buy enough tickets to give yourself wiggle room! For groups larger than 12, or if you have ANY queries or concerns, get in touch with us. It’s best to get in touch with us as early as you can, but it’s never too late!

If your there, we require you to buy a ticket and participate unless otherwise discussed with management

What is your Lateness Policy?

PLEASE ARRIVE 5-10 MINUTES EARLY FOR YOUR START TIME! Due to the disruption it would cause to other guests who arrived on time, you might not be permitted to join the range if you arrive late. You could still throw if the full range was reserved for you, but your playing time would be shortened.

What is your cancellation policy?

Full refunds are available with 24 hours’ notice. Please notify us 48 hours in advance if there will be a sizable group (12 or more), so that other parties can make reservations if spaces become available. There will be no refunds given within a 24-hour period.

Can I change or cancel my booking online?

Yes, a link to modify or cancel your reservation will be included in your confirmation email.

Can we bring our own food and/or drink?

Yes, just no alcoholic beverages from outside. We offer our own selection of beverages and food as well for your pleasure.

Do you offer catering?

We welcome outside caterers of your choosing if you want additional offerings beyond our food and beverage selection and servers. Put us in touch and we can plan your event in conjunction.

Do you offer food?

Yes we offer a modest selection of food items to go with our drinks. We are not a massive kitchen but we aim to please with everything we offer to our customers.

Can I bring my own axe?

Feel free to bring them in, our coaches will determine if they are eligible to play with.

Can I buy Gift Certificates?

Yes! It makes a great gift. You can buy them from us in person or get in touch with us for more choices.

While parking is free, it maybe limited depending on the time of day you book.
