2 J's is the finest example of a 52 Hatteras Cockpit MY available on the market. She has had an open checkbook all her life. Owned since 1998 by the same loving owner. Prior to that she was a former Lauderdale Lady.
She has 8V92s with only a little over 2000 original hours. Both motors have been completely overhauled and serviced up to date. Under 500 hours since overhaul by Lukey Marine. All service records available for motors by Lukey Marine Diesel.
She shows exceptionally well throughout. She has a 3 stateroom - 3 full head and shower layout. Master is aft, vip forward, and bunk room starboard. Large enclosed aft deck, huge salon, and large galley down with dinette across to starboard. Air conditioning on aft deck and flybridge. Engine room access through galley stairs. Generator has around 3,000 hours with new windings. Bottom and all other service done by First Performance Marine and their contractors. Bottom just painted in July.
She also features a very versatile cockpit for fishing with cockpit outriggers, diving, snorkeling, towing, and entertainment with electric grill. SAT TV, watermaker, spare props, and Avon Coastline life raft.
11 ft Noverania CC tender with 50 hp Yamaha 4-stroke 1998 in good condition, and Marquipt Davit.

1990 Hatteras 52 Cockpit Motor Yacht
2 J's boasts the desirable three-stateroom and three-head layout that can sleep six adults comfortably in two walk-around queen berths and two single bunk berths. Interior décor is light and airy with bright neutral tones throughout.
The galley/dinette area offers teak hardwoods for easy cleaning. The Hatteras 52 CPMY is easily handled by a cruising couple but provides luxurious accommodations for the entire family - or two couples plus kids. The third cabin (with over/under bunks) can also serve as crew quarters without compromising comfort or accommodations for your guests. The FWD VIP Stateroom and AFT Master Stateroom are separated by the Salon & Galley ensuring total privacy for Owners & Guests. Kids (and the young-at-heart) may also prefer to sleep in the enclosed Sun Deck.
The salon features wrap-around windows providing a bright and airy place to relax with unobstructed visibility forward and to each side. Venetian blinds can be easily opened/closed for privacy while at the dock or at anchor. A U-Shaped couch and two lounge chairs provide comfortable seating for 5-7 Adults. An entertainment center AFT/STBD includes 42'' Samsung TV with surround sound, Sony Blu Ray, and stereo. The AFT Sun Deck is three steps up from Salon.

Vessel Walkthrough
Accommodations:
The salon has an open, modern feel due to her galley up layout. Comfortable L-Shaped leather sofa and varnished coffee table both open for storage inside. Leather seating across from the galley to port has a long varnished table as well as a single swivel chair to port. The entertainment center is to port, and features a Sharpe flat screen TV, Sony DVD/CD player, Sony VHS player, Yamaha RX-596 stereo receiver, and a control panel for the Sea-Tel satellite TV antenna. CruisAir SMX II controls for the AC, speakers, lighting, navy blue carpet, light wall coverings and classic Hatteras Mahogany woodwork makes this salon a pleasure to relax in after a long day of fishing.
Going down (4) steps, you will find the master stateroom to starboard, with a private head and shower. The guest staterooms are found to port and all the way forward, sharing the guest head and shower.
The bridge features (2) helm chairs. Forward of the helm are an L-Shaped seat to port, and a long bench seat to starboard, as well as a table.

Between this owner's love of boating, his family's comfort and safety and a keen sense of keeping his holdings in tip-top condition, this Hatteras is a pleasure to show and will be a benchmark of this very popular model.
Whether you are considering a boat to cruise alone as a couple, with a family, or with your best friends, the layout of the Hatteras 52 is ideal.
Three staterooms and 3 heads, could allow for separate crew quarters, real privacy with Master and VIP at opposite ends of the boat, or three cabins for sleeping family in separate cabins.
This Yacht has the preferred 3 stateroom layout, therefore it sleeps 6 in cabins.
Additional temporary accommodation could be improvised for an occasional over-nighter on the sofa, aft deck and even the flybridge areas.
The Master is aft with ensuite bath and separate shower stall. One opening port is over-sized to act as an escape exit. The headroom is 6' 6" and the decor is basically neutral thorughout the boat.
There is a walkaround queen bed in the Master, with ample lockers and walk-in cedar closet, and cabinetry for storage.
The VIP is forward and also has a walkaround queen bed. The private ensuite head also has a separate shower stall. Plenty of storage with hanging locker and drawers for personal items. Overhead hatch can allow in fresh air and light, if desired.
The 3rd Stateroom has upper & lower berths. Bunks are wide and spaced to be comfortable. Uncommon, is that even this cabin has a separate head with separate shower stall. Many folks that do not need a third cabin love it as a huge storage area.
The Galley is open-aired and down four steps from the Salon. There is a large open-aired dinette across from the Galley. These features allow for the chef to engage with the other folks in the Salon, without feeling removed from the socializing. Also makes for a larger feeling with space abounding in light. In the accommodations area, there is a washer & dryer behind a full length door.
The Salon follows the Galley aft. Surrounded by large windows, the light streams in. Blinds can be used to close it off.

PRELIMINARY LISTING – New to market August 2023
2 J’s is the finest example of a 52 Hatteras Cockpit MY available on the market. She has had an open checkbook all her life. Owned since 1998 by the same loving owner. Prior to that she was a former Lauderdale Lady.
She has 8V92s with only a little over 2000 original hours. Both motors have been completely overhauled and serviced up to date. Under 500 hours since overhaul by Lukey Marine. All service records available for motors by Lukey Marine Diesel.
She shows exceptionally well throughout. She has a 3 stateroom – 3 full head and shower layout. Master is aft, vip forward, and bunk room starboard. Large enclosed aft deck, huge salon, and large galley down with dinette across to starboard. Air conditioning on aft deck and flybridge. Engine room access through galley stairs. Generator has around 3,000 hours with new windings. Bottom and all other service done by First Performance Marine and their contractors. Bottom just painted in July.
She also features a very versatile cockpit for fishing with cockpit outriggers, diving, snorkeling, towing, and entertainment with electric grill. SAT TV, watermaker, spare props, and Avon Coastline life raft.

The Hatteras 52 CPMY is easily handled by a cruising couple but provides luxurious accommodations for the entire family - or two couples plus kids. The third cabin (with over/under bunks) can also serve as crew quarters without compromising comfort or accommodations for your guests. The FWD VIP Stateroom and AFT Master Stateroom are separated by the Salon & Galley ensuring total privacy for Owners & Guests. Kids (and the young-at-heart) may also prefer to sleep in the enclosed Sun Deck.
The salon features wrap-around windows providing a bright and airy place to relax with unobstructed visibility forward and to each side. Venetian blinds can be easily opened/closed for privacy while at the dock or at anchor. A U-Shaped couch and two lounge chairs provide comfortable seating for 5-7 Adults. An entertainment center AFT/STBD includes 42'' Samsung TV with surround sound, Sony Blu Ray, and stereo. The AFT Sun Deck is three steps up from Salon.
The large sub deck offers great space for entertaining, relaxing, or just enjoying the view!
