FREEDOM yacht charter was built in 2019 and since then, she has made countless guests fondly remember the time they spent on this wonderful yacht and the unique atmosphere of the Croatian Adriatic sea.

Her first refit came just in time for her to be ready for the 2022 summer season, with numerous amenities added to her already avid collection of yacht facilities, including an onboard spa centre, a yacht cinema, which doubles as a game room for kids and a fully equipped yacht gym.

The dining room located on the upper deck has enough room to accommodate all guests in a well-appointed and air-conditioned interior. The architecture of the superstructure allows for wide and full-sized windows, which will surely elevate the atmosphere during meals in the upper deck salon, regardless of it being day or night.

Because she was built specifically for cruising in the Croatian Adriatic sea, you will have no problems at all relaxing on her decks, enjoying her amenities or sleeping tight in her wonderfully appointed cabins, because of her sturdiness and stability, both at anchor and underway.

She can take on a maximum of 23 guests, accommodating them in 11 cabins, scattered across three decks of this glorious yacht charter.

FREEDOM for charter

FREEDOM epitomises the sleek and sexy design of a superyachts. Built by Sunseeker in 2017, she is one of the finest examples of the spectacular Sunseeker 116 Yacht series. Her GRP hull and superstructure are carved with striking exterior lines. Powered by Twin MTU 2,640hp diesel engines she can reach speeds of 25 knots and has a range 1,250 nm. FREEDOM also benefits from Trac digital fin stabilisers, ensuring guests are always comfortable as possible at sea. Her sporty design is complemented by a stunning open plan layout throughout the interior and exterior. FREEDOM's most attractive design feature has to be her huge foredeck. Within this vast sun space, guests can enjoy time in the sun however they wish, choosing between al fresco dining, relaxing on the huge sun pads, or of course, in the large jacuzzi. The flybridge offers ample choice for guests as well. A full dining table and bar area can be found under the retractable roof, allow the choice of sun or shade anytime of day. Parallel to the dining table, you find a large seating area of comfortable sofas benefitting from the same retractable sun roof option. Towards the aft are the large sun pads similar to foredeck. Here is also where the full sized slide is attached for guests who enjoy such toys. The main deck aft is a large, open but shaded space. Here is the largest single sofa/table area for seating, perfect for welcome drinks. Aft of this, is the hydraulic swim platform and tender garage, where all toys and water equipment are easily accessible for maximum interaction with the sea. As for the interior, FREEDOM offers a large, open saloon/dining room on the main deck perfect for escaping the heat and more formal occasions. The main deck full beam master suite benefits from a private desk space and very large walk in shower room en suite. There are four further guest staterooms situated on the lower deck. All are beautifully finished with en suites. There are two double, and two twin guest staterooms on the lower deck. Overall, FREEDOM is a modern, sleek yacht, with large open plan spaces and packed with clever design ideas for maximum guest comfort. She makes an excellent charter yacht as such, with an experienced crew who are all prepared to give guests the most perfect getaway possible.

As always, Captain George and the crew aboard FREEDOM have exceeded expectations . . .

“Tim– I wanted to…share some additional details of our experience on FREEDOM. From start to finish, Captain George, his crew, and the FREEDOM yacht offered us a first-class experience.

The boat was not only very impressive but also spacious. The bedrooms were so private; the music and satellite TV system that ran throughout the boat was easy to use, and temperature systems were in each bedroom. The design of the entire boat is quite exceptional. There are ample spaces to do just about anything throughout the course of the trip: tan, read, be in shade, be in air conditioning, relax in a hot tub, sit at a bar, watch a movie, fish, play board games, etc. It truly is a floating hotel.

FREEDOM: Outstanding Meals

While we expected to food to be good, we did not anticipate 3 gourmet, 5-star dining experience meals per day. Joseph (chef) was simply outstanding. He created meals that were memorable, healthy, and just the right amount of food. The children and adults alike loved each and every meal and appreciated the honoring of our requests while far exceeding our expectations.

While we expected to have play toys, we did not anticipate having Matt at our service, 24/7 to help us on and off of kayaks, paddleboards, willing to take the kids out wakeboarding and tubing, etc. Matt had the perfect temperament for adults and children alike– and was an incredible enabler to all of our fun trips snorkeling, paddle boarding, etc. He was a real gift and asset for the entire time.

While we expected to have good service, we did not anticipate Sarah’s artful setting of the tables for every meal— that made us feel as though we were eating in a different restaurant each day, even though we were at the same table as the prior meal and prior day. We would run down after breakfast to get something in our rooms. However, we found that Sarah had already made the beds and cleaned the bathrooms. She was the person who made everything beautiful and easy. She was a real joy to have and get to know.

The Captain

And while we expected a highly seasoned and competent captain, we felt honored to be under the care of Captain George Custer for a week. He was entirely willing to customize our plans and routes to meet our needs—- always with a plan, and always willing to change the plan as individual desires or weathers changed. He is a delightful person with rich life experiences that our entire group enjoyed. I would highly recommend him to any type or size of group. He seems to have seen and done it all— and knows how to read people and groups well. He is a gem and we felt safe in his care. It was hard to say good-bye!

The toys on the boat were key to our enjoyment as two active families. The paddle boards and kayaks were in constant use, as were the sea bobs when we were in waters where they were permitted. We used the smaller boats to take us snorkeling in many interesting places and enjoyed those side trips immensely.

All in all, as you suggested it would be, it really was the vacation of a lifetime for our families. It was hard to end— and we hope to do something like it again in the future.

I would strongly encourage you to steer future groups to “Freedom”. It has it all; it felt new and fresh; was immaculately clean and cared for— and had a crew second to none.

Savvino-Storozhevsky Monastery near Moscow

The Savvino-Storozhevsky Monastery is a very picturesque Orthodox monastery of the Moscow diocese, founded in 1398 and located 2 km west of the city of Zvenigorod in Moscow Oblast , about 60 km west of Moscow .

In the 15th-17th centuries, the Savvino-Storozhevsky Monastery played the role of an outpost of the Moscow Principality in the west. The monastery was a favorite place of prayer for many Russian tsars. The Savvino-Storozhevsky Monastery on Google Maps . Photos by: Alexandr Lipilin .

The Zvenigorodsky tract was laid from Moscow to the Savvino-Storozhevsky Monastery, which was also known as the Tsar’s Way, on which all Russian rulers made mandatory pilgrimages to the monastery. In the first half of the 20th century, this road was called Zvenigorodsky highway. Today, it is better known as Rublevo-Uspenskoe highway.

During the Soviet years, the monastery housed various institutions: military units, a sanatorium, and a museum. In 1995, the monastery was revived. Today, 30 monks and novices live here. Exhibitions of the Zvenigorod Historical, Architectural, and Art Museum are also located here.

The main church of the Savvino-Storozhevsky Monastery is the Cathedral of the Nativity of the Virgin, built at the beginning of the 15th century.

For an excursion to the monastery, you should dress appropriately: men should be in trousers, women in skirts, with covered shoulders and heads.
