AD LIB is a 40m (131.2ft) displacement motor yacht built by the renowned New Zealand shipyard Alloy Yachts in 2006. She has an aluminium hull and superstructure, with an exterior design by Ed Dubois and interior by Donald Starkey. AD LIB was built to Lloyd's Register classification and has been used privately under her original owner.

AD LIB is a 40m (131.2ft) displacement motor yacht built by the renowned New Zealand shipyard Alloy Yachts in 2006. AD LIB can accommodate 9 guests in four cabins. The guest accommodation is on the lower deck. It comprises two double-berth suites and one twin-berth cabin with additional pullman berth. All guest cabins have en suite bathrooms with separate shower compartments. Port forward is a designated gym area. Forward of the guest accommodation is the galley, crew mess and accommodation for six crew. On the main deck, the owner's suite is forward. It has sofa seating to starboard and is accessed via the owner’s private office. Forward, the suite has separate his and hers en suite bathrooms with a shared central shower room. Aft in the suite is a large dressing room. Moving aft from the office, steps lead to the raised wheelhouse and onto the flybridge. In the main salon, there is a formal dining area forward and a lounge area to the rear. A bistro table and chairs sit at the saloon entrance from the aft deck.

On her sun deck, AD LIB has a forward flybridge area with forward-facing bench seating and steps to the wheelhouse. Aft is a hardtop – with skylight windows in the forward section. Beneath the hardtop is situated an al fresco dining area with bench seating running outboard on both sides. Towards the rear is a wet bar and BBQ area while on the aft deck is a jacuzzi and sunpad area. Steps to starboard lead to the main deck. The aft main deck features a formal al fresco dining area with forward-facing seating to the rear. Overhead, is a retractable sun awning. A wet bar area is located by the main saloon entrance. There is a large raised sunpad area forward, accessed via steps from the foredeck.

AD LIB has a side-opening tender garage whilst on the foredeck is located the rescue tender and waverunner.

She is powered by two 1,450 hp Caterpillar 3412E engines these give her a cruising speed of 13 knots and a maximum speed of region 16 knots. She has a cruising range of approximately 4,500nm at an economical speed of 10 knots and is fitted with NAIAD zero speed stabilisers.

55m Amels motor yacht Amigos listed for sale

The 55-metre motor yacht Amigos has been listed for sale with Antonio Yturbe Redo and Hans Van Doornmalen of Edmiston .

Delivered by Dutch shipyard Amels in 2017, Amigos is one of the latest vessels in the popular Amels Limited Edition 180 series.

The naval architecture of the aluminium yacht was completed in house, while the exterior lines – including a curved gunwale and raked bow – were penned by Tim Heywood . Laura Sessa is responsible for the interior, opting for a subtle palette of creams and silvers to "evoke a spa-like ambience" throughout.

The yacht accommodates 13 guests across six cabins, including two full-beam owner’s cabins. The first is located on the bridge deck aft with a private terrace, while the other is positioned on the main deck forward with a private balcony and office space with a library. The rest of Amigos ' accommodation is on the lower deck and comprises two double cabins and two twin cabins, one fitted with a Pullman berth for guests.

Stepping on board, the main saloon benefits from dual fold-down balconies for guests to enjoy the sea breeze, while the formal dining room is perfect for hosting guests. Located adjacent to the second owner’s suite on the main deck forward is the fully equipped gym, which can be turned into a staff cabin and boasts en suite facilities and large side windows for views out to sea during workouts.

Up top, guests can enjoy the vast 175-square-metre sundeck, a popular spot that was extended during the build by three metres to create an expansive social area. Here guests can make the most of a four-metre counter-current pool, shaded al fresco dining area and an outdoor cinema.

Amidships, there is a teppanyaki barbecue grill, while below, her beach club, equipped with a Hammam, opens onto a generous swim platform.

The superyacht is equipped with Seabobs, wakeboards, paddleboards, inflatable tender-towables and various fishing gear. One 6.2-metre Ribeye Ltd Rescue / Water Sports Tender is also included.

From the fiberglass swimplatform, you enter the hardtop covered aftdeck via the transom gate. Once inside the aftdeck, you can walk out either same level side deck, step up the molded-in steps to the flybridge or walk through the double aluminum & glass doors to the salon. Once inside the salon, you will find the galley to starboard, lower helm and side deck access door starboard forward, sofa with storage to port and a dinette with a benchseat and two chairs port forward. Walk forward and step down into the companionway to find the guest stateroom to port, master stateroom forward and the head with an enclosed shower to starboard. Engine room access is via salon sole hatches.

Headroom in the salon is 6'6", 6'9" on the flybridge, 6'1" in the master stateroom, 5'10" to 6'4" in the guest stateroom and 6'4" in the shower. The master stateroom berth is 6'2" long, the guest stateroom inboard berth is 5'10" long and the guest stateroom outboard berth is 6'5" long.

The height from the waterline to the top of the navigation light is 19', 17'2"' to the top of the bimini and 12'6" to the top of the windscreen.

Curtis Stokes was born in Lewes, Delaware and grew up in nearby Rehoboth Beach, Delaware and St. Michaels, MD until he moved to Fort Lauderdale, Florida in 1992. Curtis grew up on the water and around boats through many years of fishing, sailing and hunting up and down the East Coast of the U.S. and The Bahamas.

While attending Washington College, in Chestertown, Maryland, Curtis decided to obtain his real estate license and joined his father’s real estate firm, Anderson-Stokes Realtors. Curtis became president of the firm after his father’s death and led the company through its expansion to 20 offices and expanded the publicly traded company into insurance, advertising and development. The company was sold in 1991 and Curtis decided to pursue his real love of the water and made yachting his career.

Curtis’ yachting career includes everything from a 75’ Trumpy to a 180’ Feadship, 2½ circumnavigations and a half dozen Atlantic Ocean crossings. He has been associated with and enjoyed worldwide cruising on such well known vessels as EXCELLENCE, FIFFANELLA, OUR TOY, MOECCA, RENEGADE, KISSES and HUNTRESS. Curtis also gained experience as sales manager at Hatteras Yachts, in New Bern, NC, where he helped develop and sell new models and train and coordinate his dealer network.

Curtis then spent six years as a very successful yacht sales broker with The Sacks Group Yachting Professionals, Inc. Curtis was consistently a top producer at the firm. Curtis decided to form his own yacht sales and charter firm September 1, 2009, which took off on a very successful start, even in a recession! Curtis has grown the company to multiple offices and 50 full time sales associates located around the US; and he has sold virtually every type and size of yacht and boat possible.

Curtis held a USCG 3000 ton All Oceans Master license, UK MCA Class IV Master certificate, Cayman Islands Master certificate and a PADI Divemaster certificate. He is also a former Emergency Medical Technician, firefighter and CPR instructor. 

Curtis is an active member of the America’s Great Loop Cruiser Association (AGLCA), Superyacht Society, United States Superyacht Association, Marine Trawler Owner Association (MTOA), DeFever Cruiser Club, Seven Seas Cruising Association, Billfish Foundation, International Gamefish Association and Ducks Unlimited.

Curtis also is a Certified Professional Yacht Broker (CPYB), a member of the International Yacht Broker Association, Yacht Broker Association of America and the Northwest Yacht Broker Association.

The article focuses on researching methods of tourism potential development and promotion in the Lipetsk Oblast, Russian Federation, as a factor in shaping the region’s cultural and geographical space. Interdependence between the geo-cultural space and the territory’s tourism potential has been identified. Adopting the right approach to assess a capacity potential and to model and update human and geographical images, i.e. cultural keynotes of the destination under investigation, allows for the development of domestic and inbound tourism in the area. Major emphasis has been placed on the main means of promoting tourism potential, namely, the formation of the image-centered tourism development strategy based on updating cultural and historical dominant ideas.
