Practical guide to the prestigious Monaco Yacht Show 2024

Ticket prices start from €690 per day with the BIG ART FESTIVAL organising a special night with Jason Derulo.

In all, over 560 exhibitors will be showcasing their innovations for the yachting of tomorrow, from design to new technologies. You will be able to buy, charter or visit the 120 yachts and 60 tenders on display.

To help find your way around, there are 5 zones:

The show is split into five themed zones, each featuring a different aspect of the boating world:

• The Dockside Area is where you’ll find a wide range of super-yachts and luxury tenders on display.
• The Sailing Yacht Area will showcase the most elegant sailboats created by renowned builders and designers.
• The Yacht Design & Innovation Hub will be dedicated to cutting-edge innovations, enabling visitors to discover the latest advances in design and technology.
• The Adventure Area will combine water sports activities and innovative gadgets to provide visitors with a unique entertainment experience.
• The Sustainability Hub will promote the industry’s efforts to reduce its carbon footprint, with demonstrations of green and sustainable technologies.

BIG ART FESTIVAL at Monaco Yacht Show: A Night of Luxury and Music

The Hôtel de Paris Monte-Carlo, a legendary symbol of luxury and elegance in the heart of Monaco, will be hosting an unforgettable evening of art, music and glamour on Wednesday 25 September. The star of the show will be none other than global superstar Jason Derulo. With a string of hits including ‘Talk Dirty’, ‘Want to Want Me’ and ‘Swalla’, Derulo has established himself as one of the most popular and successful artists of his generation.

The Wednesday is reserved for private clients, exhibitors and Sapphire ticket holders. The show is open to the public from Thursday 26 to Saturday 28 September with tickets priced from €690 for one day, €1170 for two days and €1860 for all three.

This is a complete guide to the 2024 Monaco Yacht Show, written by a Monaco resident who attends every year. This insider guide includes the locations, parties, ticketing, exhibitors, and insider tips.

The Monaco Yacht Show is the world’s leading yacht show. Held on the Mediterranean seaside in Port Hercule, Monaco , it is the largest in-water display of large yachts. An estimated 30,000 people come to see the more than €4.3 billion worth of yachts displayed in the port.

It is known as THE chicest way for billionaires to celebrate the end of summer. The biggest, newest, most innovative and most expensive yachts will be on display in this new edition of the Monaco Yacht Show.

The many superyachts are the center of attraction, but there will also be so much more on offer for the show’s opulent observers. As the quintessential playground for the rich, Monaco Yacht Show continues to impress its billionaire patrons, ensuring their return year after year.

There will always be super speedboats, helicopters, personal submarines, limousines, and luxury cars to see. Hotels, restaurants, and the Casino will also cater to the epicurean needs of the guests.

The ‘Car Deck’ for the exhibits of classic and customized vehicles will display models of the best machinery for connoisseurs’ delight. The ‘Starboard’ is the main exhibition lounge of companies that offer products and services related to the superyacht lifestyle: destinations, luxury products, and arts. Both will be on Quai Antoine 1er.

Monaco Yacht Show Awards

VIP guests and yachting social elites will be invited to attend the Monaco Yacht Show Superyacht Awards , along with the show’s partners, yachting business top-players, and select media. The awards will be held at the Monaco Yacht Club and attendance is exclusively by personal invitation. The awards section of the evening lasts about 20 minutes, and the rest of the evening is a lively cocktail party with a DJ, food and open bar.

A panel of respectable yachting journalists will select the winners of the following categories:

• (Exteriors) The MYS Exterior Design Award
• The MYS Finest New Superyacht Award

Monaco Yacht Summit

Yachting clients will also have a chance for an informative panel discussion regarding topics in superyachting, insights from industry experts and professionals in the Monaco Yacht Summit.

The event is exclusively reserved for yacht owners and charterers (and want to enhance their knowledge), prospective end-user clients and their representatives, and private wealth managers.

The Monaco Yacht Summit is held the day before the Yacht Show officially starts, at the Monaco Yacht Club . Attendance is based on ​​​​​​​pre-qualification by emailing [email protected]

Badges for the Monaco Yacht Show

In order to make the overall experience clearer to visitors and professionals, a three-category system is used. Discover badges are for yacht clients; Advise badges are for their advisors and consultants, and Connect badges are for trade visitors. The badges will show the profile of each visitor so that the right people can connect on sight. Buyers can therefore identify designers and builders at a glance, whilst their captains and reps can readily find equipment manufacturers, for example.

But for those with regular day passes to the show, you’ll need an appointment and be able to pass a check by the yacht representative to make sure you’re a serious potential buyer or charter customer.

Sapphire VIP Experience

If you’re in the market to buy a yacht and looking for more personalized experiences, ‘ Sapphire Experience ’ VIP tickets include exclusive activities at both the show and in Monaco for superyacht owners, charterers, and potential clients. VIP guests also have access to special courtesy cars provided by the Monaco Yacht Show to drive them around the city during their stay.

Getting your hands on these tickets comes with a premium price tag and you’ll need to get approved — about 80% of applicants for the Sapphire Experience are rejected. The VIP experience is limited to 200 people and only serious yacht-buyers are able to purchase these coveted passes.

Yacht Tours and Parties

Even those who’ve bought tickets won’t be allowed to tour many of the most exclusive yachts, nor attend the evening yacht parties, without being invited by the yacht companies and brokers. If you’re in the market for a yacht, make sure to view the exhibitor list and arrange tours of your favorite yachts in advance.

Monaco Yacht Show 2024 Event Details

Date: September 25 to 28 (Wednesday to Saturday), 2024

The Monaco Yacht Summit is held on the day before the Yacht Show officially starts, at the Monaco Yacht Club .

Timing: Wednesday to Friday: open from 10am to 6:30pm; Saturday: open from 10am to 6pm. The Summit runs from 12:30pm to 6pm.

Tickets: €500 per person for a one-day pass, €850 for two days, and €1,350 for three days. Buy tickets .

Location: Exhibitors will be set up along Port Hercule in the Condamine. Here is the official map of the event.

There are three public entrances: Quai Antoine Ier, Parvis Piscine (Boulevard Albert Ier), and Quai Louis II. There are two VIP entrances (dedicated to Sapphire VIP’s and Discover badges): Quai Albert Ier and Quai des Etats-Unis.

The awards event and summit will be held at the Monaco Yacht Club in Port Hercule.

All attendees, not just VIPs, have access to the fleet of golf carts which you can use to get rides from one section of the show to another. There is also complimentary water transport to take guests from one quai to another.

There are just two weeks to go until the most exciting superyachts line up in the unique Principality of Monaco as part of the 2024 Monaco Yacht Show,  with the brand-new 122m KISMET motor yacht being the largest vessel on display. Although private and charter yachts are the highlight, the show will also present the important themes of Innovation and Sustainability.

Monaco Yacht Show

This is the 33 rd edition of the Monaco Yacht Show which will open with its annual conference, centred on sustainability within the yachting industry and bring together journalists, industry professionals and yacht clients for in-depth discussions.

The Sustainability Hub will be open to visitors throughout the show with the exhibition featuring cutting-edge technologies and sustainable solutions aimed at enhancing yachting practices for a more eco-conscious future.

Visitors are also invited to celebrate the world’s best yacht designers and innovators at the Yacht Design and Innovation Hub where cutting-edge engineering and technology will be exhibited alongside bespoke layouts and redefined interiors – pushing the boundaries of what is possible.

The annual Monaco Yacht Show is being held from Wednesday 25th September until Saturday 28th September. All the Bluewater teams will be at the show; management, brokerage, charter, crew and training. Our stand is in the usual place on Quai Chicane, at the bottom of the steps near the Monaco Yacht Club. You can’t miss us! Read on for everthing you need to know about MYS 2024.

Access to the show is allowed until 30mn before closing time.

Monaco Yacht Show 2024 to open with ‘Environmental Sustainability in Yachting’ conference

The 2024 Monaco Yacht Show will begin its upcoming edition with an impactful opening conference that underscores the industry’s commitment to developing and implementing better sustainability practices. The conference, aptly titled Environmental Sustainability in Yachting , will spotlight the latest advancements and practical solutions driving positive and eco-friendly change in the yachting world.

Each year, the Monaco Yacht Show opens with a conference that defines the event’s theme, and this year’s focus on sustainability reflects the growing interest in and demand for greater environmental consciousness in yachting.

This year’s conference on 25th September will bring together yacht owners, industry leaders and experts from the fields of yachting and sustainability for a series of panel talks that will explore the challenges facing the industry and showcase actionable solutions that illustrate the yachting world’s tangible efforts to embrace greener practices.

In partnership with the industry publication Superyacht Times , which will co-host the panel discussions, speakers at the conference will share valuable insights into the initiatives driving change in the yachting world, both now and in the future.

Among those scheduled to speak at the event is Gaëlle Tallarida, Managing Director of the Monaco Yacht Show, who will discuss the event’s own eco-friendly measures and their broader impact on the industry.

Additionally, Jean-Marc Bolinger, CEO of MB92 Group, will be addressing efforts to reduce carbon footprints in older yachts; Robert van Tol, Executive Director of Water Revolution Foundation, will highlight eco-responsibility on-board; and Giedo Loeff, Head of Research and Development at Feadship, will explore how sustainable innovations can be applied across markets.

Monaco Yacht Show 2024-line up announcement

The Monaco Yacht Show 2024 is fast approaching, and we are delighted to announce our yachts in attendance at this years’ show from the 25th – 28th of September.

Set in Port Hercule, the MYS is the pinnacle of global yachting events, welcoming 30,000 visitors over the four-day event, with 560 exhibitors on display and over 120 of the most exclusive and luxurious yachts available for sale and charter.

Edmiston is set to deliver another exceptional in-show experience through our newly designed activation area, and with our brokers on the ground this provides an excellent opportunity for prospective buyers and charterers to connect with our team and tour a wide range of vessels first hand.

We are thrilled to represent such a broad range of vessels at this years’ show both for sale and for charter from a number of pedigree shipyards and designers across both motor and sailing yachts ranging from 26 to 105 metres.

60m LADY BEATRICE is a testament to yachting tradition and sophistication through her luxurious interior by renowned designer, Jon Bannenberg and her Feadship pedigree.

Timeless and elegant, 51m RED DRAGON — designed by Dubois Naval Architects and built by Alloy Yachts — masterfully combines luxury with performance, creating a vessel that caters to lavish and exhilarating adventures.
