Gentlemen & Ladies, Does anyone know where apparel that has the original Hatteras logo on it may be had? I know Sam's sells Hatteras gear but everything I found there has the more modern Hatt logo ie: Hatteras spelled out . I would like to find hats,shirts etc. that have the original H with the check mark/ wave under it . Vintage type clothing to go with my vintage boat. Thanks, Bruce

We asked the same question a while back. I would like to get some vintage sportfish wear. They were going to look in to it....

Thanks Erich, I missed that ballcap with the older style burgee on it . That is the type I am looking for. Re: the shirts though I must admit that I am something of a minimalist. I would lie shirts with just the logo and no other graphics. Bruce

I agree. A jacket, polo or t-shirt with Hatteras and the Check would be pretty cool.

I bought the Hatt sweatshirts and baseball hats for the members of my "delivery crew" when we brought our 53 home a few years ago. They wore them until they wore out! I got them - and a couple of jackets - from the Hatteras Yachts website link as mentioned: http://www.deeprivertraders.com/crewlocker/

You guys could think about designing your own shirt logo by perhaps using the old Hatteras "check" artwork as part of it. I would bet that Hatt wouldn't mind giving you permission to use it. It is surprizingly affordable now days to get stuff custom embroidered. I designed a logo for my shirts and hats using my yacht club burgee and my private signal as crossed flags. It's simple and yachty and didn't cost much to get set up.

I talked to Steve at the Miami show and he says that classic Hatt stuff is coming soon. He is trying to even put some stuff together with some pictures of some of the older models on the shirts. Maybe Doug could comment on this.

Doug and I have talked about a series of vintage Hatteras shirts with the older boats on them; the 53MY, the 36 Series I, etc. I think they are working on this line. What would also be cool would be hats and shirts that look like what you would have bought in the seventies...there have to be some photos of whatever logo wear they had at that time, which we could use to make suggestions. Those would be very cool for the owner of an older boat.

I will wear the antique logo proudly, but even though I had alot of fun in the 70's I don't think I want anything in my wardrobe that looks like it belongs or came from the 70's. Your on your own on that one Jim...
