For the ultimate room with a view, players have the option to purchase a Galaxy Super Yacht from the Docktease website for GTA Online.

The Yacht property does not count towards the property limit and they have a daily utility cost for owning one. Yachts cannot be sailed: they function as floating apartments and come fully staffed with your own personal captain to shift the boat between your choice of 12 scenic mooring locations (at a cost of $25,000), and a bartender to serve drinks for you and your guests.

Choose from a range of designs , with higher-end yachts featuring hot tubs, and additional complimentary transport options including helicopters and personal watercraft. Name your vessel and personalize it with a custom flag, hull color, and a variety of lighting options. Each Yacht comes equipped with an anti-air defense system to help protect against unwanted attacks from rival Organizations and other Freemode attackers.

As of the 1.51 Los Santos Summer Special Update released on August 11, 2020, Super Yacht owners can participate in 6 Co-Op missions , which are accessed from the Bridge of the Yacht, or by calling the Yacht Captain and selecting ‘Request a Job’.

Players are only able to own one Yacht and they have a selection of three models:

GTA 5 Online Heists: Yacht DLC location and custom mission downloadable links revealed

Avid GTA 5 gamers are in for some great news, as renowned YouTuber DomisLive (aka Dom) has shed more light on the recently leaked Yacht DLC location in his latest video, besides sharing the custom downloadable Heist mission for the same in GTA Online.

As Dom explains, curious GTA 5 gamers can now explore the Yacht Heist DLC mission in first-hand, thanks to custom downloadable links available for PS4 and Xbox One systems.

Interested gamers are required to download the appropriate link based on the type of their console. For instance, if you are downloading for a PlayStation console, go to the PS4 link and change the platform selection to PS4 and vice-versa.

As Dom admits, the custom downloadable links for the Yacht DLC mission are presently limited to current-gen consoles (PS4 and Xbox One) only.

However, it is ascertained that some veteran YouTubers including CarlosCoDHD are in the process of developing new downloadable links for custom Yacht DLC Heist missions for last-gen consoles (PS3 and Xbox 360).

Pointing out the buzz in the GTA community, Dom reconfirms that the leaked Yacht DLC is indeed part of Michael and Trevor's mission, although it takes place at the Heist mission location, just outside the airport.

GTA 5 Online Heists: how to get the aircraft carrier and yacht in free mode

Some of the best new content in GTA Online may be limited to Heists, but resourceful players have managed to find workarounds to access the aircraft carrier and more in free roam mode.

Take a look at the video above to see how to get the carrier and yacht in free roam. It involves bookmarking a Custom Job that is only available on PS4 so far.

As it's a custom job, Rockstar could nuke it at any point, so don't be surprised if this suddenly doesn't work anytime soon.

The Pisces, in our opinion, is the best deal as it comes with better watercraft and a better helicopter than the Orion. However, if you are a fan of jet skis and don’t mind the extra cost, The Aquarius is the way to go. Once you have decided which yacht to buy, you can customize it with aesthetic upgrades such as gold fittings, lighting, and a paint job. You can also choose your own flag and name for the yacht.

How to Buy a Yacht in GTA Online

To buy a yacht in GTA Online, you need to open your phone, head to the internet, then to vehicles and transportation. Click the “Galaxy Super Yacht” banner, pick your yacht, and set your options. Then click “Buy Now,” and you will immediately receive a notification and a new contact. Once you get the notification, head back out to the free roam lobby to get another notification about your chopper (if your yacht comes with one).

What Can You Do With Your Yacht?

Besides having a helicopter, watercraft, and a bedroom, there are other things you can do with your yacht. For example, you can move the yacht around the coastline, though you can’t actually drive the yacht itself sadly. Additionally, you can call in your helicopter by going to contacts, toggling down to the captain, and requesting a helicopter. The yacht also comes with some defenses, but keep in mind that if someone swims to your yacht, the defense system won’t target them. Finally, you can start yacht missions, which can be a great way to earn money.

Yacht Missions

Yacht missions are missions that you can start once you have the yacht. There are six missions in total, and they can take between eight and twenty minutes each to complete. Additionally, the missions can typically pay between twenty and thirty thousand dollars each. However, keep in mind that it can take a while to break even, as you need to complete a minimum of 200 missions to break even with the cheapest yacht.

concert updates from rockstar for gta online there’s no shortage of new content and interesting things to do join me then as we look at the luxury yachts in gta 5 online before we dive in if you’re new to the channel we do how-to guides news and giveaways so consider subscribing and ring the bell to stop today so first things first why on earth would you want a yacht well there’s a few core reasons the luxury heli so depending on your budget your new yacht might come with a helicopter which can be called for a small cost they have a very specific spawn point so they’re not quite as convenient as a sparrow or the oppressor but they’re still very nice some watercraft so that’s a few jet skis and a lovely power boat all of which are stationed off the back of the yacht an additional spawn point so unsurprisingly the yachts have a bedroom so you can spawn in and this can be handy if you have businesses near the southwestern coast or you want quicker access to the los santos airport anti-griefer measures so the yacht comes with a neat defense system that gives you a safe haven it has a couple of caveats but it’s a great way to deal with vehicle-based idiots access to exclusive missions the yacht gives you access to facility specific missions they’re designed for noobs and can be done completely solo and of course it’s a hell of a flex i mean it’s a nice facility to have and one of the most expensive things you can buy in the game so it is a cracking way to show off right we have three different options to choose from with the yachts starting with the orion at 6 million which is a 210 footer and it comes with a single helipad a small two-person canopy runabout and a jet ski the pisces at seven million dollars also a 210 footer but this one comes with two helipads a swift deluxe helicopter the big car speeder which is arguably the best boat in the game a dinghy and two jet skis and a hot tub and finally the aquarius at eight million even now this is the same size and birth as the other yachts 210 feet and has two helipads a hot tub and a dinghy the same as the pisces but comes with the super volito carbon and the toro as well as four jet skis so i’ve gone for the aquarius here but only because it was on super special if i was paying full price the pisces at seven million dollars is a better buy in my opinion the speedboat and their helicopter that come with the pisces are much better and really how often are you using four jet skis at the same damn time next up is the trim chrome is included but you can step it up with gold fittings for an additional seven hundred and fifty 000 lighting and color scheme next now again there is a free option but you can pick from the eight available which will set you back anywhere up to 600 grand sticking with the aesthetics the paint job is next starting with the white paint job and grey trim included and with 12 options ranging in price up to 650 000 and the final option is your flag and yacht name both of which are included in the original price so your minimum out of pocket on this one is six million which gets you the base model yet and nothing else if you have around 8 million to spend though the pisces with a few aesthetic upgrades would be the go right once you’ve decided on your model find somewhere safe open your phone and head to the internet then to vehicles and transport docts and click the galaxy super yacht banner pick your yacht and set your options click buy now and you will immediately receive a notification and a new contact close out of the internet by hitting the x up the top right and you’ll see a new notification with the yacht icon top left as well as a new message from the captain of your new vessel after that you can head back out to the free roam lobby and you’ll get yet another notification this time about your chopper if your yacht comes with one and i’ll cover how to call that in in a bit right so once you’re ready head over to your new yacht and take a look around and after you’ve had a bit of an explore head to the helmets where the captain hangs out and into the yellow marker to start yacht missions there are six missions in total and depending on your skill with a chopper a boat and a firearm they’ll take you between eight and twenty minutes each to complete and typically pay between twenty and thirty thousand dollars each which means an absolute minimum of 200 missions or 27 hours to break even if you go for the absolute cheapest option and get the maximum payout every time honestly though it’ll be more like 300 missions and 75 hours of grinding at maximum difficulty to get your money back so great flex rubbish investment you do get this sweet captain’s outfit though which is nice oh and there’s a few additional things you can do with the yacht which can come in handy too firstly if you’ve gone for the pisces or aquarius you can call in your helicopter and to do this open your phone and go to contacts toggle down to the captain and give him a call once he picks up select request helicopter which will set you back a thousand dollars now this is a little old school so the chopper will spawn in in one of a few dozen places around the map which was great back in the day but it is pretty inconvenient if you’re used to a sparrow or a mark 2 oppressor but anyway once it’s spawned in you’ll see a new chopper icon on the map head on over and you’re good to go while we’re on the captain’s phone you may have also noticed a few other options you can use this same menu to call in your premium boat which will again spawn somewhere up the coast oh and you can also request a personal vehicle or your next job too should you feel so inclined the next thing you can do is move the yacht around the coastline now again this is a little old school so you can’t actually drive the damn thing sadly it’s not the kasaka but you can have the yacht quick travel to different locations in the lobby or be it at a particularly ouchy cost of 25 grand a throw to do this head to the helm on your yacht and stand next to the captain to trigger a button prompt in the top left of the screen click the button noted and bring up the location menu then you can cycle through the locations until you’ve found the one you’re after your defenses and management is next now to access these you can be anywhere on the yacht or anywhere outside in the free roam map head to the interaction menu that’s m on your keyboard the double squares on your xbox or swipe for your playstation scroll down to services and galaxy super yacht from there there’s a few things you can do to skipping the defenses for a moment we can set up who has access to the boats jet skis and the chopper if you have one we can also change who can access the yacht itself and we can set the type of clothing that people wear in the hot tub if yacht has one finally let’s scroll back up to defenses when these are on and don’t forget to set your exclusions but when these are on any player in the free roam lobby in a vehicle will be targeted by the defense systems oh and this also takes care of guided missiles from the casa too but there’s a rub it’s only players in vehicles if someone swims to yacht they won’t be targeted and will be able to board the vessel so it’s great for mark to inject griefers but not so good for people who are just running around being a pain in the backside oh and one more thing with the defenses when they’re on no one can draw a weapon no one it’s great because you can’t have a griefer come in and shoot up the place but it also means you can’t draw and shoot anyone your own self and that’s about it thanks for watching check out the video at the top for another property and business guide or the That Grand Theft Auto 5 still has an active player base more than a decade after its release is incredibly impressive. Despite its age, it still looks great and is receiving fairly regular updates from Rockstar to keep things feeling fresh. One of the best parts about the game is undoubtedly its heists, which feature both as part of the single-player campaign and the ever-expanding GTA Online .

GTA V: Crazy Rumors That Actually Turned Out To Be True

It is safe to assume that the gen PS5 version is something that people didn't see coming, but there's plenty of things people saw coming back in 2011.

It took a while for the service to really get off the ground, with the first online heists not being added to the game until nearly two years after its initial release. Since then though, a steady trickle of new GTA Online heists have been introduced, each of which rewards players with thousands of dollars in virtual cash. The best heists in GTA Online are highly enjoyable too, providing players with plenty of incentive to try them out.

Updated October 9, 2023, by Tom Bowen: There's still no concrete news on when exactly franchise fans can expect to get their hands on GTA 6, but that doesn't seem to matter too much to some people. Despite now being more than a decade old, Grand Theft Auto Online still boasts a healthy player base and plenty of content for those players to sink their hungry teeth into. The highest-paying GTA Online heists are a great way to earn money, not to mention a fun way to enjoy the online experience with friends. The game also boasts a number of special contracts, which are similar to heists in a lot of ways and provide even more opportunities to make bank.

The Fleeca Job ($100,625 - $250,250)

The Fleeca Job was the very first heist added to GTA Online and is the only one that doesn't allow more than two players. The main objective is to steal bonds from a safe deposit box at a small branch of the Fleeca Bank in Banham Canyon. It costs $11,500 to set up the heist and requires a fairly minimal amount of prep work compared to most of the other heists.

One of the players will be tasked with driving the getaway vehicle and controlling the bank's patrons once the heist is underway. The other must drill into the safe deposit box and secure the bonds as quickly as possible. Upon opening the box, both players will receive a three-star wanted level and must meet up with Lester's getaway guy to escape the cops.

The Prison Break ($350,000 - $875,000)

The Prison Break heist requires a crew of four and will cost $25,000 to set up. To initiate the heist, players must speak with Lester who will introduce them to the mysterious Agent 14. He will ask them to help break a former military researcher out of jail and deliver him to safety.

Before freeing the researcher, players must obtain several vehicles as well as get hold of the prison transport schedule. They'll then need to take out several targets. Once everything's ready, the crew has to break the researcher out of prison and take him to an airfield. After losing the cops and arriving at the drop zone, he'll take control of the plane and the crew will parachute to safety.

Series A Funding ($353,500 - $883,750)

Series A Funding is a little different from the game's other heists. Rather than the target being stolen during the finale, the drugs that Trevor has asked for are instead acquired during the setup phase of the heist. Players will need both a crew of four and $25,000 to set everything up.

Despite his violent outbursts, or perhaps because of them, Trevor has become a GTA 5 fan favorite, with players showcasing their love through memes.

There are five setup stages, each of which will require stealing a different type of illegal drug. For the heist's finale, the crew must take the stolen drugs to Trevor while fighting off some of the gangs from whom they were stolen. After meeting Trevor at a lighthouse, his buyer turns out to be an undercover agent, although the loveable psychopath somehow manages to escape and the crew still gets paid.

The Humane Labs Raid ($472,500 - $1,181,500)

The Humane Labs Raid is another heist given to the player by Agent 14. He'll ask the player to infiltrate the Humane Labs and Research facility to find evidence of nerve agents or other biological weapons. The heist requires a crew of four players and costs $25,000 to set up.

As part of the preparation for the raid, the crew will need to acquire an EMP, a Valkyrie helicopter, and the key codes for the lab. Once these things have been acquired, the crew will split into ground and air teams. The ground team must break into the lab and obtain the data while the air team protects them from above.

The Data Breaches ($975,000 - $1,218,750)

The Doomsday Heist consists of three acts, each of which functions as a mini-heist. Players can tackle them using crews made up of two, three, or four people and this will determine the final cut that each player receives. The first few are given to the crew by Avon, who is an associate of Lester's. The Data Breaches serves as the first act and has a setup cost of $25,000.

In the finale, the crew must head to an IAA base and fight off a unit of Merryweather security agents. As they fight their way through the base, they will eventually arrive at the war room and from here can control the turrets. After gunning down more Merryweather agents a cutscene will play out and the heist will end.

The Bogdan Problem ($1,425,000 - $1,781,250)

The second of the Doomsday heists requires a lot more prep work and $25,000 to set up. Thankfully though, the finale is fairly straightforward — especially for those in the air. The crew will split into two teams, with one taking to the water in a submersible car and the other piloting a military aircraft in the skies above.

The air team need only fight off any incoming planes or choppers and the other must gain access to a submarine. After tracking down the target, it becomes apparent that Avon has not been completely honest with the crew . The sub's self-destruct sequence activates and, along with the target, the crew must escape before it explodes. From here, they must fight off the incoming forces while flying to safety.

The Pacific Standard ($750,000 - $1,875,000)

The Pacific Standard is the last heist that offers an easy difficulty setting and is by far the most profitable in the Heists update. When first released, it boasted a hefty $100,000 setup cost, though this has since been lowered to just $25,000. As well as the setup money, players will need a crew of four to get the ball rolling.

Lester wants the crew to rob the main branch of The Pacific Standard Bank in Downtown Vinewood. Due to the size of the bank, there is a lot of setup work involved with numerous vehicles required for the task's finale. Once everything's ready, the crew must fight their way down to the vault and complete a special hacking minigame. After escaping with the cash, there's then an incredibly elaborate escape sequence.

The Cayo Perico Heist ($630,000 - $2,090,000+)

Added into the game in late 2020, The Cayo Perico Heist marked one of the largest Grand Theft Auto Online updates so far. With as many as six primary targets available to choose from and the ability to earn more money by stealing additional items, it's incredibly replayable and a great way for players to earn some quick cash. Better still, this heist can be tackled solo, allowing players to walk away with the entire take.

As with the casino heist before it, the Cayo Perico Heist features a rare target, the Panther Statue , which only shows up during special events. Stealing this statue will reward players with a little over $2 million, which can be further supplemented with an additional half a million or so if players fill up the loot bag with secondary targets and crack open the safe in El Rubio's office.

The Doomsday Scenario ($1,800,000 - $2,250,000)

The Doomsday Scenario serves as the narrative climax for the Doomsday Heist and requires the crew to take out Avon. It costs $25,000 to set up and is by far the most challenging of the three heists. Players can either choose to tackle the mission using an ATV or a tank, with the player who paid to set up the heist receiving the value of the other.

Grand Theft Auto V was one of Rockstar's most ambitious projects. Here's a look at some of the interesting stories behind its development.

The crew must head to a secret tunnel within Mount Chiliad and fight their way through Avon's army. Eventually, Avon's AI network Clifford begins the launch sequence for a missile destined to destroy Los Santos. Lester manages to trick it into opening the blast doors which allows players to disarm the missile by completing a hacking mini-game. The crew must then disable Clifford and take out Avon before regrouping at the Galileo Observatory, which shares a striking resemblance to the Griffith Observatory .

The Diamond Casino Heist - Cash ($2,115,000 - $2,326,500)

The Diamond Casino Heist offers by far the biggest payout of all of the game's heists, but just how big depends on what is in the target vault. Perhaps surprisingly, cash is the worst of the four possibilities but it's still a great way to earn money in GTA Online . The minimum number of players needed for the heist is two, although most choose to take a full crew of four to guarantee success.

It will cost $25,000 to set up the heist and there are three different approaches to completing it. The silent & sneaky approach is the least disruptive but requires players to be incredibly stealthy. Should players alert the guards at any point, reaching the vault will be incredibly difficult. As such, it requires a strong crew.

The Diamond Casino Heist - Artwork ($2,350,000 - $2,585,000)

Although it offers significantly more than the cash heist, the artwork heist is still far from desirable. Its pay can be more than a quarter of a million dollars lower than other heists despite the setup cost being exactly the same, so players may want to think twice before initiating it. There are also no noticeable differences when it comes to the difficulty of the heist.

For those who lack the skills for the stealthy tactic, The Big Con approach may be more appealing. The crew wears disguises to gain access to the vault, although must be sure to stay in character to avoid arousing suspicion. The final tactic for the Diamond Casino Heist is the aggressive approach. As the name suggests, it involves the crew fighting their way to and from the vault. They will have a minimal amount of time inside the vault, although they are able to use thermal charges to gain access rather than having to hack the locks.

Despite the significantly larger take, the set-up cost for the diamond heist remains the same. Unfortunately, though, there is a catch. Diamonds are only available during certain periods and the probability of getting them is significantly lower than the other three targets. Thankfully, there's a way around this.

During periods when there is a possibility of the safe containing diamonds, players can repeatedly cancel and then restart the heist until the safe contains diamonds. Although they will lose $25,000 each time they cancel, the difference in the potential payouts means that they can afford to cancel up to 31 times and still guarantee a greater profit than gold.
