We had a Celebration of Life for our beloved son-in-law on January 28th, 2023. There were a total of 170 guests and the overall experience was phenomenal. Don Myers (General Manager) did a wonderful job of helping plan the event and their on-site kitchen provided appetizers and a full buffet. The food exceeded our expectations, both in terms of the appetizers and the buffet with prime rib and other wonderful entrees served. The support and number of staff was extraordinary. The day was chilly but sunny, and guests commented on the great location, views, and overall success bringing a large number of people together from across the U.S. It was a sad event with a wonderful outcome given the situation. We would not hesitate to give PCYC a 100% recommendation based on this event (note: we are not a member of the yacht club) and would certainly use this venue in the future. Great job Don and the Pacific Corinthian Yacht Club!!

New Management has brought PCYC from the dark ages to 2019! Menu updates, tipping policy changes, "Happy Hours" and entertainment choices are just some of the exciting updates that are happening. Service is fast, friendly and efficient and food quality has become very consistent. Thank you Don and Staff!

My favorite yacht club in the area. I was helped out by a lady named Lisa. She gave me the best customer service. She had a very responsible demeanor when I walked in and answered all my questions. I will definitely be visiting again soon.

Best club! Joined four years ago after moving up to the area. Great events and fun people. The club is fine for children, my daughter enjoys the swimming pool. Best place in the harbor!!

Nicest club in the Channel Islands Harbor area. The upstairs crows nest is where it's at--good food, good drinks, great view of the harbor. People seem friendly enough. Checked out other clubs in the area for comparison sake, and PCYC is above and beyond the others. Lots of activities for boaters and non-boaters too. They have a kids sailing camp during the summer that looks to be pretty cool (wish there was something like that when I was a kid). Prices fairly reasonable. Good place.

Pretty good venue for a wedding reception. It's set away from the shops so it is pretty private, and it doesn't smell bad like other parts of the harbor.

The bookkeeping department at this club is beyond excellent. Brenda spearheads the operation with the precision of a nuclear scientist. Leslie also knows her "gazintas" coming up with the correct answer to many problems. With literally hundreds of members to bill on a monthly basis this team proves that paying attention in math class instead of listening to little Johnny rotten make flactulance sounds in his armpit really does pay off in the long run.

Became a member a few years ago since my boat is right across the channel from it. Even though my hair hasn't turned the color of cotten candy yet and my man boobs still fit into a double b mansier I joined because one of my boat buddies was so in love with this place. After a couple years they canned some douche bag GM and my friend then boycotted the joint. So now I go there all the time with my other boat head friends to eat and get hammered. Haven't been poisoned yet and usually can't walk very well when I leave there. But hey, no driving cars and pretty good food and people. If you're gonna join a yacht club you can so alot worse in the channel islands harbor.

We stayed at the PCYC guest dock for three nights. The facility is great and the staff were fantastic. I highly recommend them for yachts passing through the Channel Islands.

Pacific Corinthian Yacht Club hosts 42nd annual McNish Classic Yacht Race

Keelboats will be competing for the Strathmore Cup – and to be awarded “skipper’s weight in champagne.”

OXNARD—Classic yachts are poised to take over Oxnard’s Channel Islands Harbor on July 27, as Pacific Corinthian Yacht Club hosts the 42nd annual McNish Classic. Racers will be competing for the Strathmore Cup and the “skipper’s weight in champagne” award, which is granted to the “First to Finish” vessel.

A wide range of classic vessels – from the 135-foot America to 18-foot Gearys – compete in this classic race, according to Pacific Corinthian YC staff. The race has featured close to 40 yachts participating in previous years. Some sailors compete rigorously while others enjoy some recreational sailing, the yacht club’s staff added.

The first boat kicks off racing at noon on July 27; the inverted start fleet then embark on a 17-mile course on the waters of Channel Islands and Ventura harbors.

Sailing will end at Pacific Corinthian YC, where a barbecue and trophy presentation will be held. Each class will be presented with trophies; other award categories are Best Elapsed Time, Bristol Boat and “First to Finish.” The skipper of the First to Finish award, as noted earlier, will receive his weight in champagne.

A free taco bar will be available on July 26, at the yacht club.

Free docking is available at Pacific Corinthian YC; sailors can either join in on a guest dock raft-up or dock in their own slip.

The skippers meeting will be held at 9 a.m. on July 27.

Channel Islands Yacht Club (CIYC) has been serving the needs of its members, the boating community, and Ventura County water-associated activities since its founding in 1960. With an authorized membership of 400, the club has thrived on the enthusiasm, involvement, and volunteer spirit of its members. The club members form a diverse mixture of people from all walks of life sharing a mutual love of the sea. Year club founded: 1976 Year club joined SCYA: 1977

​Total: 400 members. 40% power, 16% sail, 16% electric and 28% non-boat owners.

Facilities: Main dining room, private dining rooms, full-service bar / dining, swimming pool and spa. Open Wednesday through Sunday. Lunch and dinner served Wednesday through Sunday and breakfast on Sunday.

Reciprocity: Guest dock with reservations at $.50/foot for up to seven days. Free nights depend upon reciprocal agreements.

Membership: Available, please inquire by calling.

Welcome to the 2024 Pacific Corinthian Youth Foundation Summer Sailing Camp.

We are thrilled to welcome you to another exciting season of sailing adventures and skill-building on the sparkling waters of the Pacific. The Pacific Corinthian Youth Foundation (PCYF) Board has been diligently working during the off-season to enhance our program, elevate the quality of instruction, and ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants.

Our website has been updated with the latest information for the 2024 season. Please note that the 2023 forms are no longer valid, and we kindly request that you refrain from using them. We will begin accepting applications for the 2024 season starting April 5, 2024.

The first 2-week session will commence on June 17, 2024, and will be followed by three additional 2-week sessions starting on July 1, July 15, and July 29.  Each 2-week session consists of 10 days of comprehensive training, designed to nurture sailing skills, foster an appreciation for the outdoors, and have fun.  The price for each two-week session is TBD per student, offering an exceptional value for the high-quality instruction and unforgettable experiences campers will enjoy.

Pacific Corinthian Youth Foundation Summer Sailing Camp, Serving Youth ages 8-18 in Channel Islands, Oxnard, and Ventura County.

Since 1992, PCYF has offered our Summer Sailing Program in 4 two week sessions. The program is open to all area children, ages 8 to 18.

With small sailboats such as Optimists,  Sabots, Lasers, and FJs, campers learn basic sailing skills which are supplemented with boating safety activities.

Pacific Corinthian Yacht Club is a private club that welcomes reciprocal members of recognized yacht clubs in the U.S. and worldwide, provided they have a current membership card from their home yacht club. Animals are not permitted on the property, unless required by law. Upon arrival and check-in, PCYC will provide guests with a Guest Badge whereby they are welcome to enjoy all of the Club amenities. Charges in the Dining Room, Bill's Bar, and the Gear Locker are to be paid with credit card as we do not accept cash.
