The Club was originally founded in 1927 as the Southern Florida Boat Racing Association. Since the inception, the Club's purpose was to provide a venue for sailing enthusiasts from all walks of life, who wished to organize and participate in sailboat races.  Seven years later, we acquired our current name and, twenty years after http://trading-option.in/demo , moved to our permanent home on the northeastern tip of Watson Island near Government Cut.

Our philosophy is to include all who wish to take part.  Our lay back attitude and family oriented atmosphere attracts experienced salty dogs, rookie ones as well as families who have a passion for the outdoor lifestyle we have to offer.

FLORIDA YACHT CLUB

Established in 1876 to foster yachting and social enjoyment along the St. Johns River in Jacksonville, this club grew into a favorite getaway for 19th century business tycoons and their entourage. Today it's known as one of the most prestigious private clubs and the sailing capital of northeast Florida. Amenities include two marinas with 150 slips, 10 tennis courts, a lovely clubhouse with banquet rooms, a swimming pool, a fitness center with personal trainers and a spa. HARBOUR RIDGE YACHT CLUB

The soaring eagle emblem on Harbour Ridge's logo is a pleasant statement that this yacht club cares about protecting the natural environment around its facility on the St. Lucie River north of West Palm Beach. Its two championship golf courses are Certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuaries, but conservation does not distract from luxurious amenities. Since the 1800s, industrialists, socialites and fishing fans have been pampered at this luxurious West Florida retreat. The U.S. government took over the island during the Bay of Pigs invasion, but the club reopened in 1976 and was restored to its original grandeur. PELICAN ISLE YACHT CLUB

ST. PETERSBURG YACHT CLUB

Established in 1909 and fully renovated in the 1990s, this prestigious club is dedicated to preserving traditions in sailing and yachting. The list of members' championship racing awards and Olympic medals is extensive. As one of America's oldest yacht clubs, the facility overlooking Tampa Bay presents two elegant dining rooms, cocktail lounge, poolside tiki hut and many spacious banquet rooms. Home to The Miami International Boat Show, the world’s largest boat and yacht event, Venetian Marina & Yacht Club is a trophy marina asset in Miami’s downtown urban core. Conair scion Leandro Rizzuto Jr. closed a trio of luxury residential deals in Boca Raton totaling $35.5 million.

The flurry of activity is unusual for August, typically one of the slowest months for South Florida’s real estate market. Rizzuto sold two homes, one for $7 million and one for $10 million, and bought a mansion for $18.5 million. 

He is the son of Leandro Rizzuto Sr., the founder of hair care products giant Conair who died in 2017 with a $3.5 billion net worth, according to Forbes. The younger Rizzuto has worked as a Conair executive for most of his life, according to published reports. He also served as U.S. Consulate General in Hamilton, Bermuda during the Trump presidency, after his nomination to the U.S. Ambassador role in Barbados failed in the Senate, according to published reports. 

Records show Rizzuto bought the mansion at 169 West Key Palm Road from Donald and Kelley Jenkins for $18.5 million. The nearly 9,000-square-foot mansion sits on 0.4 waterfront acres in Boca Raton’s Royal Palm Yacht & Country Club , the city’s most expensive gated community. It was built in 2021 and has six bedrooms, five bathrooms, two half-bathrooms, a pool and a dock, property records show. The Jenkins bought the house for $15 million in 2021, according to records.

Dustin Nero and Senada Adžem of Douglas Elliman had the listing, and Joyce Schneider with Castles By The Beach Realty brought the buyer. 

Rizzuto also sold a home in Royal Palm Yacht & Country Club. He sold the non-waterfront house at 2391 Areca Palm Road to Nicola Verses for $10 million, according to records. The 6,200-square-foot house has five bedrooms, six bathrooms, one half-bathroom and a pool, records show. It was built on 0.3 acres in 2021. He bought it for $7 million that year, according to property records. Schneider had the listing. 

Verses also bought the house at 385 Southeast 9th Lane (also known as 385 Mizner Lakes Estates Drive) from Rizzuto for $7 million, records show. Mizner Lakes Estates is on the grounds of the Boca Raton Resort & Club . Built in 2000 on 0.6 acres, the house spans 7,200 square feet, with five bedrooms, five bathrooms and one half-bathroom, records and the listing show. Rizzuto bought it for $7 million in 2021, according to records. Schneider also had this listing. 

The Rizzutos have been busy with South Florida real estate this year. Rizzuto’s wife, Denise Rizzuto, also flipped a house in Royal Palm Yacht & Country Club for $8 million in January. In February, part of his sister Babe Rizzuto’s oceanfront compound in Jupiter Inlet Colony was washed out to sea by a heavy swell.

Police: 1 injured following hit-and-run crash involving personal watercrafts in north bay village.

NORTH BAY VILLAGE, Fla. – Officials said they responded to an accident involving two personal watercrafts late Monday afternoon that left one person injured.

It happened around 6 p.m. in the waters near the 79th Street Causeway in North Bay Village.

According to the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, after the crash, a man operating one of the personal watercrafts was ejected into the water.

He was brought back to shore and then taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital to be treated for his injuries.

FWC officials said the other personal watercraft, which was yellow, and had a Black male operator and a female passenger in a cheetah print bathing suit, fled the area.

Officers have since put out a BOLO (be on the lookout) for that vessel and the subjects.

Sky 10 flew over the scene Monday and observed an unmanned personal watercraft in the water from above.

There has been no update on the victim’s health status.

FWC investigators are asking anyone who witnessed the collision or anyone who may have video footage or information to call the Wildlife Alert Hotline at 888-404-FWCC (3922).
