Year club founded: 1916 Year club joined SCYA: 1921
Total: 1050 members – split evenly power to sail.
Facilities: Bar is open Wed thru Sun 11am to 11pm. Dining room is open Wed. thru Sat 12 to 9pm. Sun 9am to 8:30pm. Snack bar open summer days. Beach. Dry storage. 150 member berths with 8+ year wait. 7000# hoist. Launch ramp. Guest dock.
Membership: Not currently looking for new members. 5 sponsors and boat ownership needed. Initiation fees and monthly dues are confidential.
Junior program: Exceptionally strong year ‘round program for members.
Located in the Heart of Newport Beach
and adjacent to historic Balboa Island, the NBYC is the ideal venue for unforgettable social gatherings and events. Enjoy dinner, drinks, live music, and a breathtaking view of Newport Harbor while creating long-lasting memories with friends.

Our club is conveniently located at the foot of the Balboa Island Bridge and Jamboree. After enjoying dinner and drinks at the club, members can take a casual stroll to Balboa Island for shopping, explore the sights, or catch the ferry over to Balboa Peninsula.
