Crew have easy access to all areas, including the engine room and lazarette.

Designed by Sylvia Bolton and Martin Lo, the main deck features formal dining, an informal dining/breakfast area, and a full-service bar, with aft windows that lower to connect these spaces. The versatile salon can be customized to the owner's preferences.

Al-fresco dining is available on the main deck aft, the owner's deck, and the large flybridge with built-in sofas and Hi/Lo tables under a hardtop. All decks are open for owner use.

The contemporary interior features gloss-finished Macassar ebony paneling, walnut floors, and floating floors for sound control. Gucci window treatments enhance the views, and multi-level lighting creates a customizable ambiance.

The second hull in the Marco Polo series, designed by Ron Holland, AVALON is slightly larger than her sister ship. Built to Lloyd's standards, AVALON features a steel hull and a composite superstructure. She is powered by a single Caterpillar 3512B engine. With her easily driven deep hull shape, stabilizers, and a secondary propulsion system for emergency get-home power, AVALON ensures exceptional maneuverability, especially when docking, aided by her stern thruster. 

Well-equipped and meticulously maintained, AVALON is a proven long-distance explorer. Having recently completed a shipyard period, annual maintenance, and an intermediate survey, AVALON is not due for another haul until April 2026, with the next annual survey scheduled for April/May 2025. She is ready for her new owner for the upcoming season.

46m Cheoy Lee motor yacht Avalon enters market

The 46-metre motor yacht Avalon has joined the market with Jarrett Hiebert of Merle Wood & Associates .

Launched in 2012, she is the second in Chinese yard Cheoy Lee 's Marco Polo range designed by Ron Holland and completed a refit in 2023. MCA compliant, she has a steel hull and composite superstructure and has recently completed her 10-year Lloyd's Class survey.

Accommodation is provided for an owner's party of 10. As with her sister, Avalon puts the captain’s cabin on the main deck forward (and to starboard of the library) so the owner enjoys a three-room suite aft of the bridge, plus an open-air lounge. Of four guest cabins on the lower deck, one can be arranged as a gym. 

The décor is contemporary with horizontally banded gloss-finished Macassar ebony making up much of the panelling and built-in furnishings. Rich walnut floors add a masculine look. Window treatments are simple so as not to restrict views, while a multi-level lighting design creates a suitable night-time ambience or brightens grey days.

Avalon is powered by a single Caterpillar 3512B engine of 1,911hp delivering a range of 6,600 nautical miles at an economical speed of 10 knots. The 485GT yacht for sale 's maximum speed is 12 knots, while her cruising speed is 10 to 11 knots.

Avalon is asking $11,900,000 and lying in Alaska.
