We are excited to welcome the new 'Spirit of Aloha' Catamaran to Waikiki! The new vessel will replace Port Waikiki Cruises' older catamaran currently in operation and will be one of the largest sailing catamarans on the island with room for up to 80 passengers. Port Waikiki Cruises will continue to offer its popular sailing excursions aboard the upgraded vessel, including snorkel adventures and Friday night fireworks dinner cruises.

Explore the Waikiki coastline aboard The Spirit of Aloha, a modern 65-foot catamaran. Its captain and crew members are available to answer questions about the ocean, navigation, sea life and marine conservation. Whales and green sea turtles are some of the creatures that can be seen on any given tour. Passengers also enjoy unobstructed views of Waikiki Beach with a backdrop of the Ko`olau mountains, and in the evenings the twinkling Honolulu skyline. The custom-designed sunset-orange and maile lei sail is a stunning contrast to the azure Pacific as it sails along the Waikiki coastline.
Amenities include a full bar with draft beer, a large fully-enclosed and covered cabin with table and bench seating, two full restrooms, freshwater shower, surround-sound system and multiple stairway entry points for snorkelers entering the water. Ample outdoor areas for sunning are also available before and after the vessel.

- Set your GPS to "69-1081 Kuualii Place Waikoloa Hawaii 96738" This will take you toward the Lava Lava Beach Club. Park at the A-Bay Beach Park parking lot and walk along the beach toward the middle. Look for our orange Hawaii Nautical check-in banner near the two prominent coconut trees. We will come to get you there in our catamaran tender. When boarding at A-Bay, it is a beach-loading process, with barefoot entry that takes a few steps near shore from the beach.

- It is recommended that all participants are comfortable in the open ocean. Guests are provided a swim vest that they can inflate before or while in the water.

- When boarding at Anaehoomalu Bay, it is a beach-loading process with transfer from a tender-boat, with barefoot entry that takes a few steps into the seawater from the beach. Please come in your swimsuit and any outerwear that may come in contact with water.

Overall rating
I've been on many catamaran snorkel trips on different Hawaiian islands over the years, this one was just OK compared to the others. The things that brought the experience down a bit for my family were the number of peop ... le on the boat, it was very crowded, the way food was handled (you're paying handsomely for some chips and a pretty bland sandwich -- they ask you what you want when you sign up for the boat but on the boat it's a free-for-all, so you might end up with something you didn't want or pay for), and lastly (and again) the number of people on the boat. The first 15 minutes of snorkeling was just spent trying to get away from everyone else so you didn't get kicked in the face or torpedoed by some mid-westerner trying to play aquaman by diving under the water and surfacing right into your abdomen. So yeah, it was OK -- wouldn't do it again for the price though.
My family and I (two kids 11 and 8 plus my spouse) had a blast on the Spirit of Aloha Kohala Coast Snorkel Tour with Lunch & Drinks - Hawaii Nautical / Snorkel Sail. My only complaint is that I wish it was longer! Our ca ... ptain was entertaining, the crew knowledgeable, and the facilities were clean. Equipment was sufficient and the waters were clear and calm. I highly recommend!
Great experience
It was a beautiful day and the crew was friendly and funny. Gear was provided and they had snacks available before lunch. The guava juice was especially delicious. The swim itself was fantastic. There were so many col ... orful fish and one of the crew showed us a starfish. We enjoyed the adventure so much that snorkeling is officially our new favorite hobby.

Vessels depart from Anaehoomalu Bay at the Waikoloa Beach Resort. If driving, set your GPS to “69-1081 Kuualii Place Waikoloa, Hawaii 96738” . This will take you toward the A-Bay beach and the Lava Lava Beach Club. This will take you toward the A-Bay beach and the Lava Lava Beach Club. Park at the A-Bay Beach Park parking lot. Head toward the beach, once you reach the sand, take a right and walk along the beach. About halfway down the beach, you will see a white sign "Hawaii Nautical Check In Here". Wait at the sing for the blue tender boat to come ashore.

Slip off your slippers and enjoy watching the Hawaiian sunset while sailing along the iconic Waikiki coastline on our Gold coast 65ft catamaran, the ‘Spirit of Aloha II’! We set sail at 5:30pm everyday of the week except Fridays. We cruise East along Hawaii’s magnificent Waikiki coastline. To the West is the setting sun and to the shore the night lights of Waikiki light up the coastline. Our cocktail cruise sails every night except Fridays when we offer a Dinner & Firework Cruise.
Join us on our 65ft Gold Coast catamaran for a Hawaiian Sunset Cocktail Cruise. The ‘Spirit of Aloha II’ is a laid back barefoot cruise which sets sail from the Hilton Hawaiian Village hotel. The Spirit of Aloha holds a maximum of 49 people, offers indoor and outdoor seating, a bar and appetizers. Bathrooms are available onboard but we advise you use the restroom before boarding. Self parking is validated in the Hilton Hawaiian Village parking garage for the “Spirit of Aloha”. Please bring your parking ticket with you to check in. (We do not validate valet parking)
The ‘Spirit of Aloha II’ Cocktail Sunset Cruise include an array of “pupus” or finger appetizers for snacking. Italian meatballs with marinara sauce, honey-barbeque chicken wings, vegetable platters and assorted sides. There are unlimited non-alcoholic beverages available and each adult receives 2 free bar drinks. Additional beers are just $1.00 and mixers $2.00.

Where does the spirit of aloha catamaran snorkel sail depart from.
The tour departs from the Anaehoomalu Bay at the Waikoloa Beach Resort located at 69-1081 Kuualii Place Waikoloa, Hawaii 96738. You should arrive 30-45 minutes prior to your selected cruise time to allow plenty of time to find parking. Please call the phone number on your E-ticket at least 24 hours prior to the tour to confirm the check-in details.
What does this cruise include?
Each ticket includes food, beverages, snorkel fins and vest, in-water assistance from the expert crew, and a 3-hour sailing experience aboard a stable sailing catamaran.
How long is this trip?
This sailing trip lasts approximately 3 hours.
Are food and beverages provided?
An individualized lunch is provided along with unlimited non-alcoholic beverages. Each adult age 21+ receives two free bar drink tickets. Additional drinks are available for purchase on board.
What do we bring?
Bring a towel, sunscreen, anti-nausea medication, E-ticket, sunscreen, easy-to-remove shoes, and a photo ID along with cash if you wish to purchase additional alcoholic drinks. Buy or bring your snorkel and mask, or sanitized re-usable sets are available as a backup. There is plenty of covered space to place bags, belongings, towels and clothing that will stay dry.
What should I wear?
Come in swimsuits or casual clothing that may come in contact with water. Easy-to-remove shoes or flip flops are recommended. There are shaded, covered and dry areas of this boat, and also optional areas such as the front nets where you can enjoy sea spray and more wind.

Check your e-ticket once you book for full details. - Buy or bring your snorkel and mask, or sanitized re-usable sets are available as a backup. - Any trips that include food are prepackaged & single-serve. Guests may not bring their own food or beverage aboard, except for infants & toddlers. No alcohol may be brought aboard. - Hawaii Nautical maintains a strict no-work-while-sick policy.

Restrictions/Requirements:
- When boarding at A-Bay, it is a beach-loading process with transfer from a tender-boat, with barefoot entry that takes a few steps into the seawater from the beach.

Uncommon amenities for a sailing cat include a full bar with draft beer, a large fully enclosed and covered cabin with table seating, in addition to bench seating in many areas of the boat.
Licensed to carry 49 passengers, Spirit of Aloha carries a maximum of 48 instead in order to add an additional crew position for unsurpassed customer service. Crew skills include multilingual, marine biologist, and lifeguard/CPR/first-aid certified, and provides customer service standards set to attain Duke Kahanamoku's "Creed of Aloha" for the utmost in Hawaiian hospitality. Operates Daily from: 1:30 PM - 3:00 PM Sailing from the Hilton Hawaiian Village Beach Resort & Spa Pier on Waikiki Beach Duration: 1.5 hours Guests being dropped off from off-property can come down Paoa Avenue to reach the kiosk.
