Here’s What the Cast of Below Deck Sailing Yacht Is Currently Up to Now

Are Jenna and Adam still together?

below deck sailing yacht season 1

After the massive success of Below Deck and its spinoff Below Deck Med , Bravo decided to test the waters on a new iteration of its hit series earlier this year. That's where Below Deck: Sailing Yacht came in, taking place on a luxury sailing boat, the Parsifal III, adrift in the Ionian Sea.

From a spontaneous proposal failing spectacularly to a joke about being breastfed as an adult, Sailing Yacht was as much a dramatic success as the other franchises. It also left fans wondering about what's happening to the crew since the show wrapped. Did chief stew Jenna and chef Adam stay together? What's going on with Georgia's music? And most important—is Captain Glenn really as cool as we think he is?

Here's what the cast of Below Deck: Sailing Yacht is up to now:

Jenna MacGillivray

When the Canadian stepped onto the Parsifal III, fans got exactly what they hoped for in a chief stew—a no-nonsense leader who also had a romantic spot in her heart for the chef in the galley. Though her relationship with Adam Glick proved to be tumultuous, the two dated for some time after the season wrapped, even taking some time to road-trip together.

These days, Jenna is enjoying some time off from yachting, but given her recent IG pics, she's excited to come back to another charter season.

Madison Stalker

Wherever Madison went, drama always seemed to follow the second stew during season one of Below Deck: Sailing Yacht . In between epic meltdowns (including a major one between her and Jenna over her lack of enthusiasm for her job), she left the boat a better person and leaving fans ready to see more from their new favorite cast member.

Judging by her Instagram account, she's taken a break from yachting (perhaps until next season of the show).

Georgia Grobler

As good of a third stew Georgia was on deck, fans were more invested in her budding music career and growing feelings for a very taken Paget. She proved she was great at her job and could make a career out of yachting.

While it's unclear whether she stayed in the yachting industry post- Sailing Yacht , Georgia's working on music, premiering new music videos on IGTV during the quarantine.

Below Deck Med fans were so excited when Adam joined the crew as the chef for Sailing Yacht . While he abided by the preference sheets this time around, he also began a rocky romance with chief stew Jenna, making most of the crew members wonder if he was there for his job or the girl.

Since the show wrapped, Adam's busy onshore, cooking, and traveling with his adorable puppy. Oh, and Adam has a web series, Stoked , where he travels across the country to meet with local chefs and learn about their regions... all while over a campfire.

Paget Berry and Ciara Duggan

If there was any couple to root for from the entire Below Deck franchise, it's Paget and Ciara. The duo made a great team on deck, and mostly kept their relationship to a minimum on cameras—a first for Bravo! As they were the most familiar with the Parsifal III, the couple was the most reliable, and fans loved seeing their relationship continue blossoming post-filming.

These days, the couple has a lot to be excited about—they're now engaged. While they're soaking up their romantic bliss, they're also still working in yachting, although it's sadly on separate boats.

Byron Hissey

As the chief engineer of Parsifal III, Byron was clearly there to just do his job. But, given how he was the only cast member to have a wife and child back home, he also became the dad of the group, taking care of the other crew members.

Since filming wrapped, it looks like Byron is back on a boat doing exactly what he does best—fixing and making sure the engines run smoothly.

Parker McCown

Relatively new to the yachting industry, fans are more likely to remember the deckhand for his enraged rant about being breastfed by his mother. While he didn't necessarily have all the skills to make it as a deckhand, he definitely had a soft spot for his ex-girlfriend Kaiti, whom he eventually left Parsifal III to go back to at home.

It looks like the decision to leave the show worked out for Parker, as he's now engaged to Kaiti and writing some tunes while onshore.

Chris Miller

As Parker's replacement for the latter half of the season, Chris proved a great deckhand and an asset to the team, all while battling an injury.

These days, Chris seems to be taking some time off from yachting to travel across Europe.

Captain Glenn Sheppard

Captain Glenn was tough, fair, and not afraid to have a good time, which both crew and guests very much appreciated.

Thankfully, his reality TV experience hasn't turned him off yachting forever. Glenn is still the captain for Parsifal III and traveling through the Mediterranean.

Since 2013, Below Deck has been captivating TV audiences across the globe by offering a voyeuristic peek into life on board multi-million dollar luxury charter yachts . Taking readers behind the scenes, YachtCharterFleet identifies the yachts featured on the show, as well as those which have appeared on the celebrated spin-off series Below Deck: Mediterranean , Below Deck: Sailing , Below Deck: Down Under and the latest iteration, Below Deck: Adventure .

Bravo’s hit reality TV series Below Deck chronicles the lives of crew members who work and reside aboard a luxury yacht during the charter season.

Each season features a different crew configuration, and the episodes show how the crew members interact and deal with personal issues alongside their working lives. The seasons are filmed over six weeks, with every episode featuring a new group of charter guests.

Getting even closer to these Below Deck superstars, we take a look at each of the stand-out features of every yacht that has appeared on the show.

Below Deck (US)

Many crew members are recurring on the show;  the longest-standing is Captain Lee Rosbach, who been on the show since 2013. A fan favourite, he has been at the helm of every yacht on Below Deck and seen a number of different crew formations.

The latest Below Deck season 10 is rumoured to be his final swan song, although his legacy on the show is such that whoever replaces him will have very big shoes to fill.

Among the crew members, Chief Stewardess Kate Chastain was an integral member of the team from season two to season seven. Alongside her, Chef Ben Robinson was a permanent fixture of the crew from season one to season four, before stepping out for season five.

Throughout the course of the show, the yachts have played an important role.

Hiring a Below Deck yacht will cost from €140,000 per week - and that price doesn't include expenses such as fuel. While some of the yachts were given an alias over the course of filming, their real names can now be revealed below; as well as the exact cost to rent them.

The largest yacht in the show's history, the 10th and 11th seasons of Below Deck  are set around the Caribbean islands of St Lucia  and Grenada onboard the luxurious 60m (197ft) superyacht ST DAVID . Delivered in 2008 by Italian shipyard Benetti, the yacht has an impressive sleek, supercar-inspired profile that instantly turns heads.

Onboard highlights include her well-appointed sundeck with sunloungers and sunpads where guests can kick back and relax, a spa pool and her al fresco cinema screen set up for unforgettable movie nights.

One of the yacht's most distinctive features is her sophisticated spiral staircase that leads through all three decks and is lit by a skylight in the spa pool of the sun deck. Making an appearance on seasons 9, 8 and 6 of Below Deck , the majestic motor yacht STARSHIP (known on the show as MY SEANNA) is a yacht charter favorite.

The yacht has traveled far and wide for the show cruising to the jaw-droppingly beautiful St Kitts and Nevis in season 9, the sun-kissed Caribbean in season 8 and the  South Pacific  islands of  Tahiti in season 6.

Known for being among one of the most opulent yachts on the charter market due to her ornate interiors and glossy fittings that have been brushed in 22-carat gold, it is safe to say that this yacht is one of the most opulently styled and extensively equipped yachts on the water. Refitted in 2021, the Delta Marine yacht can accommodate 12 guests across 6 cabins and is extremely versatile for a variety of yacht charter party configurations.

IONIAN PRINCESS

Ionain Princess season 1 Below Deck Mediterranean

Premiering on 3 May 2016, the very first season of Below Deck: Mediterranean , a spin-off of the increasingly popular franchise, took to viewers' screens. This time the ‘yachties’ took care of their guests onboard the motor yacht IONIAN PRINCESS  in the Mediterranean  destination of Greece .

The starring yacht IONIAN PRINCESS was delivered from Christensen in 2005 and was later refit in 2016 and again in 2021. Truly opulent, she bears interiors that are sleekly finished with a range of warmly toned woods and plenty of comfortable furnishings. She also boasts one of the largest sundecks for a yacht of her size.

Below Deck: Mediterranean Season 1 yacht IONIAN PRINCESS is not currently available for private yacht charter vacations.

Below Deck: Sailing Yacht

This is the first time the Below Deck franchise branched away from gleaming motor yachts, with the various weather issues that sailing yachts have to contend with adding even more drama and excitement.

The design of luxury sailing yachts  also creates far more confined crew areas than we are used to seeing on the original Below Deck . In general, sailing yachts tend to feature smaller galleys, compact stew stations and cramped crew quarters which are in closer proximity to the guests’ living areas, putting crew under increased pressure to deliver their signature silver service.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 3

In addition, deck crew are placed in a far more demanding role, with sailing yachts requiring increased accuracy and precision to safely maneuver and plenty of deck duties taking place in the midst of guest areas.

Below Deck Season 1: Where Are The Cast Members Now?

of Below Deck Season 1: Where Are The Cast Members Now?

Sailing through the oceanic blues, Bravo’s ‘Below Deck’ chronicles the lives of crew members aboard a mega yacht as they reside and work on the vessel during the charter season. The reality television show was launched in 2013 and has juxtaposed the thrill of sailing with the drama of its crew. As the Chief Stew, Captain, Deckhands, and Chef try to navigate the interpersonal conflicts of their workplace, several chaotic themes follow. Years since the debut season came on air, fans have been curious to find out the whereabouts of the original cast members. So, if you also want to know the whereabouts of the reality stars, look no further because we’ve got all the answers right here!

Lee Rosbach is Navigating Life Beyond Reality TV

At 73, Captain Lee Rosbach has led his crew on sails for more than three decades. The television personality was once a Wendy’s manager. His first encounter with the ocean came in his mid-30s when he and his wife, Mary Anne, moved to Turks & Caicos to run a restaurant. At 35, Lee obtained his Captain’s license and has since never looked back. Commonly referred to as the “Stud of the Sea,” he has been in the business for more than four decades. However, after leading his crew for ten seasons, Captain Lee bid his final farewell to the Bravo reality show.

During season 10 of ‘Below Deck,’ fans witnessed Lee’s worsening health conditions, leading to him temporarily sitting out. The reality TV star has been facing mobility issues that have led to high pain levels. Ultimately, the network didn’t invite the boat captain back for season 11. Many have speculated that Lee’s exit from the show came after he conflicted with Captain Sandy Yawn in season 10. Yet, these rumors stand unconfirmed. Nevertheless, Lee Rosbach has now teamed up with Kate Chastain, hosting Bravo’s new series, ‘Couch Talk with Captain Lee and Kate.’

The revered Captain and former chief stew break down the biggest Bravo TV moments of the week on their new show. On the personal front, Lee continues to enjoy life with his family and loved ones. After losing his son , Joshua, at 42, to an opioid addiction in 2019, he has become extensively vocal about rehabilitation for people struggling with addiction. Despite sustaining such an incredible loss, the family continues to honor Joshua’s memory through donations and giving testimony in front of Congress.

Aleks Taldykin is Leading in Yacht Management

Originally picked up by the production house to enact the role of Captain on the yacht, Aleks was ultimately replaced by Captain Lee Rosbach after the yacht owner expressed his discomfort with him taking over the reins. Eventually, he became the Captain’s next-in-command but didn’t return to the series after season 1.

Since his exit from the show, Aleks has maintained his love for the ocean and is currently the CEO of Elite Yacht Management, a company servicing yachts from the Pacific to the Atlantic. He is also a Yacht Broker specializing in selling large motor yachts in California. In 2016, Aleks had also appeared on ‘Vanderpump Rules.’ At 33, the television personality enjoys life with his wife and family.

Ben Robinson is Engaging in Culinary Ventures and Content Creation

With several credentials, including an apprenticeship at Chef Heston Blumenthal’s restaurant, The Fat Duck, Ben brought his intersectional knowledge of restaurant and catering to ‘ Below Deck .’ However, the reality TV star ultimately left the show after season 2. Ben later appeared on ‘Below Deck: Mediterranean’ and ‘Below Deck: Galley Talk.’ Surprisingly, the certified health coach was briefly speculated to be the father of Chief Stew Kate Chastain’s baby. However, both have time and again denounced trolls for such rumors.

On the personal front, the 42-year-old is engaged to Kiara Cabral. After nearly four years of dating, the television personality went down on his knee at the Vatican to profess his love. When Ben isn’t enjoying his time with friends and family, he’s engaged in several other commitments. Furthermore, he is a TikTok and Cameo creator who sells his personal merchandise brand and offers several services through online channels.

Adrienne Gang is Expanding Her Culinary Expertise

Despite her short-lived stint on ‘Below Deck,’ Adrienne quickly became a fan-favorite for dealing with a difficult crew. The 39-year-old Chief Stew has found herself busy with other endeavors. Apart from freelancing as a stew on different boats, she has also returned to her job as a Chef. Before taking up the role in reality television, Adrienne had been a professional chef for eight years.

View this post on Instagram A post shared by Adrienne Gang (@adriennegang)

The television personality is now working at the Culinary Vegetable Institute and Chef’s Garden, honing her skills and expanding her work portfolio. On the family front, Adrienne is married to Chiropractor Dr. Andrew Banks. The couple tied the knot in 2018 in a beachfront ceremony and have enjoyed marital bliss ever since. Sadly, they faced a substantial loss in 2021 after they miscarried their baby. Nevertheless, Adrienne and Andrew remain unfazed by these struggles and enjoy their life with their dog, Buddy. In addition, she hosts the ‘Gangplant Report’ podcast.

C.J. LeBeau is Actively Working in Marketing

Disembarking from the yacht just before the crew could take its final charter, C.J. Beau quickly became disinterested in the activities onboard and eventually left the boat behind. Since then, he has not reappeared in the series and has maintained a profile outside the media. Shortly after the season ended, C.J. was taken into police custody in Phoenix, Arizona, for allegedly getting in a physical altercation with his then-fiance.

The television personality was reportedly charged with intentional assault and defacing property. It was also reported that C.J. allegedly broke his fiance’s cell phone during the fight. Later, he became the Sales Director for Direct Source Distributing, a marketing company based in San Diego. On the personal front, C.J. has maintained privacy and doesn’t disclose his private information.

Kat Held is Pursuing Nursing and Bartending

Despite repeatedly knocking heads with the Chief Stew, Kat quickly became a fan-favorite for her famous phrases. However, she ended up leaving the show after season 2. Since then, Kat has been pursuing different opportunities. The 39-year-old worked as a waitress before eventually returning to nursing school in 2017. Kat also worked as a Bartender in Las Vegas and currently likes to keep her personal and professional details under wraps. Moreover, the television personality attended ‘Watch What Happens Live’ with her ‘Below Deck’ costars in 2020.

Samantha Orme is Building a New Life and Career

While Samantha’s time was full of ups and downs on the yacht, the television personality decided she wanted more in life and not just work at a mega yacht. Shortly after exiting the show, she met Bradley Ulmer, a Coast Guard Helicopter Pilot, and the two hit it off. The couple decided to tie the knot a few months into dating.

View this post on Instagram A post shared by Samantha Ulmer (@samiorme)

Subsequently, the duo welcomed their daughters, Blake and Molly. On the professional front, 36-year-old Samantha has accrued equal success. The television personality was the Vice President of a Solar Energy Firm before she returned to study Industrial Engineering. She is currently working as the Enterprise Program Manager for Fidelity National Information Services.

Eddie Lucas is Commanding the Harbor

After appearing as the Deckhand in season 1, Eddie ultimately became a Bosun and the First Officer on the Bravo series. Yet, after eight seasons, he decided to leave the franchise entirely. Eddie is now the Captain of a harbor tug boat in the Baltimore Harbor. The homeowner had revealed in an interview with The New York Post that he gets paid the lowest amount compared to other shows on Bravo.

View this post on Instagram A post shared by Eddie Lucas (@eddielucas)

It is also speculated that Eddie’s arguments with Rayna Lindsey over alleged homophobic comments could have been the reason for his departure from the show. Nevertheless, these speculations have not been entertained by the television personality. Instead, the 38-year-old has left behind the reality television life and now focuses on chartering to the Caribbean and experiencing the best of the ocean life with his dog named Bert, as well as friends and loved ones.

David Bradberry is Pursuing Acting Opportunities

below deck yacht season one

Sailing through the season without any conflict, David’s endearing demeanor won countless viewers during the show. Regardless, the reality TV star ultimately left the series following his appearance in season 1. Since then, David has explored a path in entertainment and starred in works like, ‘Confessions,’ ‘The Last Straight Man,’ ‘Fiendish Things,’ and ‘The Men Next Door.’ On the personal front, the 37-year-old is no longer with his boyfriend featured in ‘Below Deck.’ The television personality has since kept his dating life under wraps and loves to maintain a private profile.

Season 1 cast of Below Deck Sailing Yacht: Where are they now?

What happened to Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 1 cast?

Where is the Season 1 cast of Below Deck Sailing Yacht? It’s a question on many fans’ minds as the Bravo sailing show’s new season hits the airwaves.

Captain Glenn Shephard will be the only familiar face on Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 2, and that is a good thing.

Based on the first-look trailer, Bravo did a 180 with the hit show, adding a lot more spice and flare to the show. Plus, new chief stew Daisy Kelliher promised a closer-knit interior crew, a slew of sex, and partying.

Let’s take a look at what happened to Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 1 crew after the virtual reunion took place last summer.

The interior crew

It’s no surprise Jenna and Adam’s romance went bust not long after filming for the Bravo show ended.

Jenna launched a podcast, Wild Loner, where she opens up about her life, love, and travel adventures. Last fall, Jenna insinuated she had moved on with a new guy but based on her recent Instagram posts, it appears she’s single.

Adam spends his time road tripping around the United States with his dog Tex, which he turned into a web series, Stoked for Outside TV. The chef meets with local chefs to cook over a campfire and learn about the region.

Madison Stalker briefly dated Below Deck Med Season 5 alum Robert Westergaard. She just started working with Below Deck alum Adrienne Gang. Madison is still living life to the fullest, traveling when possible amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Georgia Grobler got fit while in lockdown, losing 20 pounds, gaining muscle, and getting healthy. Georgia also focused on her music. Last December, she dropped her first album, The Same Mistakes.

The deck crew

Paget Berry and Ciara Duggan not only got engaged but bought a house in France . No, they didn’t give up yachting for land life.

At the end of last year, Ciara worked with Below Deck Med Season 5 alums Jessica More and Alex Radcliffe. Meanwhile, Paget has been focused on staying fit and healthy, going through a total body transformation. Paget shares his fitness routine on social media to help others looking to make a healthy change.

Byron Hissey is enjoying family and yachting life still. The chief engineer splits his time between working on boats and with his family. Bryon shared in an Instagram post he met up with pal Captain Glenn for Christmas.

Parker McCown has been living his best life with his fiancé Kaiti in Colorado. Although he hopes to work on yachts again, the former deckhand is focused on making music and planning a wedding.

Chris Miller, who replaced Parker, has been living in the UK, traveling all over Europe when the current health climate allows and working on his photography.

How to watch ‘Below Deck’ in order, with all spinoffs included

Rafaela Coimbra

Nowadays, reality show enthusiasts have plenty of content to go through when they feel like being taken away to a tropical location. Below Deck , however, remains one of the favorites in that regard, following the day-to-day lives of crews that work and reside aboard incredibly expensive yachts.

Naturally, it provides all the necessary drama that makes a good reality show, to the point where viewers often wonder if the show is scripted . Whether it is or not, what matters is that it’s entertaining, and at that, Below Deck excels; so much so that its success has led to the creation of four spin-offs. Of course, this has delighted hardcore fans of the show, but with over 20 seasons between all the franchise’s installments, it can be difficult for newcomers to know where to start. To make that task easier, here we list all the seasons of Below Deck and its spin-offs in order of release.

1. Below Deck — season 1

'Below Deck' season 1 promotional image

This season, fans get to witness all the action unfold in Croatia, aboard the superyacht Sirocco. Season two of the Mediterranean spin-off aired 15 episodes in 2017, between May 2 and Aug. 5.

14. Below Deck — season 8

My Seanna came back for Below Deck ’s eighth season, but this time, the crew sailed through Antigua and Barbuda. The season’s 17 episodes were released from Nov. 2, 2020, to Feb. 22, 2021.

21. Below Deck Adventure — season 1

The first season of Adventure was aboard the yacht Mercury and ran from Nov.1, 2022, to Jan. 31, 2023. While its 13 episodes may sound like too little, this season did a great job depicting the beautiful scenery of Norway.

The refit work took two years but was clearly worth it when we look at the result displayed in this second season of the Australian Spin off.

Although the Northern Sun is built by the Japanese Narasaki shipyard, it surely is a boat that fits Australian waters quite well and could delight anyone looking to explore the most rugged locations in style, whether they are polar or tropical.

Northern Sun is available for charter from $161,700 / week . Her latest asking price was $15,000,000 .

How to charter a Below Deck superyacht

Want to know how much it would cost to charter one of the luxury superyachts featured on US hit TV series Below Deck ? We take a look inside Below Deck ’s famous superyachts that you can charter for yourself, and find out what they have to offer charter guests on board.

Northern Sun

The star yacht of Below Deck Down Under season two, the 50.8-metre Northern Sun (originally delivered as Hokko Maru ) has lived a full and fascinating life. She was the largest yacht built by Narasaki Shipbuilding at the time and worked as an ice-class research vessel, analysing marine life and ocean currents in the North Japan Sea. As a result, she has the hardy constitution of an explorer, transformed from ship to superyacht under the stewardship of her new owners.

Northern Sun’s main deck is now dedicated entirely to entertainment, from the al fresco dining area to the main saloon with its piano and games table. Other leisure highlights include gym equipment, a dedicated library on the lower deck and an outdoor Jacuzzi, surrounded by sun pads and lounge beds. The owners’ addition of a forward seating area during her refit allows for versatile recreation, whether the mood calls for cocktail parties or quiet, waterside contemplation.

Accommodation is for up to 12 guests across six cabins, with rich, warm interiors that feature natural materials such as narra and makore wood (commonly known as cherry mahogany). The ex-explorer also – naturally – has impressive stowing capacity. She's able to carry two Laser sailboats, scuba-diving equipment, a waterski and a two-deck-high inflatable water slide, with the broker describing her as a "family-orientated" vessel.

Charter cost: Northern Sun is managed for charter by Ocean Independence with a weekly charter rate starting from $161,700.

Defined by a distinctive vertical bow and large expanses of glass, Home was penned by Omega Architects and launched by Heesen in 2017. The Glade-Johnson designed superyacht reappeared again for season eight, where she was filmed cruising in Antigua. She is now starring in the latest season of the show, season nine, following her recent sale .

First delivered in 2003, Lady Michelle features accommodation for up to 14 guests including a split-level master suite with its own panoramic observation lounge. Her Stefano Natucci interiors offer indoor and al fresco dining spaces, an expansive sundeck with a hot tub and dedicated gym. There’s also a range of toys at the guests’ disposal, from Jet Skis and Seabobs to fishing gear and a waterslide.

Charter cost: Lady Michelle is managed by Burgess with a weekly charter rate starting from $325,000.

The Wellington

Actually named The Wellesley , this 56.2 metre Oceanco superyacht is owned by property magnate and hotelier Khalid Affara and named after his luxury art deco hotel in London. Delivered in 1993, The Wellesley features extended deck spaces and Donald Starkey -penned interiors that replicate the grandeur of the eponymous Knightsbridge hotel. Highlights on board include a waterfall jacuzzi, an outdoor cinema for movies under the stars and a unique private club-style lounge complete with a Winston Churchill inspired cigar room.

Describing why she makes an excellent charter yacht, James Graham-Cloete, director of charter management from TWW Yachts , says that The Wellesley is “ideal for entertaining family and friends, or hosting corporate events in utter privacy,” thanks to the fact that she “boasts some of the largest open deck spaces of any 56 metre on the water.” Graham-Cloete also adds that, on The Wellesley , “guests are invited to experience the same exceptional personal service, fine dining and attention to detail that has become synonymous with the hotel, on board a private superyacht,” while being looking after by her 14 crew members. “The crew have one of the lowest turnover rates in the industry and one of the best charter records, along with a full-time masseuse on board- making her the ultimate charter yacht!” says Graham-Cloete.

She accommodates up to 12 guests and nine crew and offers charterers an eight person Jacuzzi, a gym, plenty of al fresco entertainment areas and a well-stocked toy box comprising Jet Skis, a waterslide and gear for wakeboarding or waterskiing. Charter cost: Sirocco is managed for charter by Worth Avenue with a weekly charter rate starting from €195,000.

Ionian Princess

Appropriately named for the first season of Below Deck Mediterranean , which was set in Greece, the 45.7 metre Christensen -built yacht was captained by Mark Howard during filming. She also comes with a fleet of water toys from waterskiing and wakeboarding kit to Jet Skis and kayaks. Thanks to her shallow draft, she can also access hard-to-reach hidden gems in the Mediterranean Sea that other larger yachts aren’t able to. “ Ionian Princess is ideally suited for cruising the Mediterranean, which is the most sought-after region for summer yacht charters,” says her management team at charter brokers Northrop & Johnson.

  • Gary's sexual misconduct scandal has permanently tarnished Below Deck Sailing Yacht.
  • Bravo must remove Gary from future seasons for the show to regain its reputation.
  • Season 5 may be in danger of cancellation due to Gary's scandal.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 5 is highly anticipated, but its fate isn't promising after Gary King 's sexual misconduct scandal was revealed. Captain Glenn Shephard leads the cast of the exciting spin-off aboard the Parsifal III, with Gary, Colin Macrae, and Daisy Kelliher's love triangle as the pinnacle of season 4's drama. However, after Gary's sexual misconduct allegations were revealed and later brushed under the rug by Bravo producers, the popular franchise staple could be in danger. Will Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 5 return?

During Below Deck Sailing Yacht filming in the summer of 2022, makeup artist Samantha Suarez escorted cast members back and forth for confessional interviews, including Gary. After a talking head in which Gary was visibly intoxicated, Samantha walked him back to his quarters, at which time Gary prevented her from leaving, even grabbing her from behind. While Bravo issued a statement, the allegations were barely addressed, and Gary still allegedly filmed Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 5.

Reality TV is more popular than ever. With so many to choose from, here are some of the best reality TV shows to stream or watch right now.

Gary King's Misconduct Scandal Has Put A Permanent Negative Stain On BDSY

Gary needs to go.

Gary's sexual misconduct scandal has put a permanent stain on Below Deck Sailing Yacht . He's openly struggled with professionalism and alcohol on the show for years. Additionally, this isn't the first time alcohol has gotten Gary in trouble with sexual harassment. While Daisy came to his defense, his love triangle with Daisy and Colin was also problematic, with Gary becoming distracted by the Below Deck drama. By casting Gary in Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 5, Bravo indicated that sexual misconduct wasn't taken seriously by the network .

Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 5 Needs To Bring It For Bravo To Order Another Season

The series is in trouble.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 5 has allegedly already been filmed, with rumors swirling that Gary's scandal has halted its release. Given his prominence in the series, it would be difficult to edit Gary out of the show or even reduce his role. Therefore, it would be better for Bravo to scrap the current season entirely and film a new charter season for Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 5 .

It's the responsibility of Bravo producers to ensure the safety of the cast and crew during filming, and Samantha wasn't adequately protected from Gary's advances.

The cast and crew would need to bring it to revitalize the spin-off, or it's going to get canceled. Below Deck , Below Deck Mediterranean , and Below Deck Down Under are successful enough to continue without Below Deck Sailing Yacht . The popular cast members could go to another Below Deck series.

What Can Below Deck Sailing Yacht Producers Do To Fix The Show's Reputation?

They need to get rid of gary.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht is a sinking ship , but not all hope is lost. Bravo producers have already shown their understanding of the seriousness of Gary's sexual misconduct by disinviting him to BravoCon in 2023. However, they need to further distance themselves from Gary and fire him from future seasons. If it's impossible to decrease his presence in Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 5, the season needs to be scrapped. Only then can Below Deck Sailing Yacht return in good faith and conscience for another installment.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht is available to stream on Peacock.

I lived ‘below deck’ on a luxury yacht — here’s what you need to know.

Tahiti, St. Thomas and the French Riviera — I’ve yachted in all of these exotic locales, albeit from the comfort of my couch. And, millions of Americans are in the same boat.

In 2013, “Below Deck,” introduced the masses to the most glamorous mode of traveling: yachting. Since then, it’s become a Bravo mainstay with Season 9 of “Below Deck Mediterranean’’ premiering in June.

But how real is the reality show? I spent five nights on a yacht in Croatia to find out.

A woman in a bikini standing on the deck of the 'Adriatic Escape' boat, ready to experience reality TV drama on the high seas in Maldives.

A tip on tipping

My suitcase wasn’t bursting with Benjamins. An agency at your final destination provides cash for the crew’s tip money. While you’re expected to tip $30,000 for a two-night cruise on “Below Deck,” in real life you only have to tip 10% to 15% of your charter fee. That’s about $10,000 for a two-night cruise on a 180-foot charter yacht like Mustique (from $250,000 a week), which stars in the new season.

According to Zvonimir Androić, president of the yacht charter company Via Croatia, more often than not, the tip comes from what’s left over after provisioning.

So, shun the Dom Pérignon and skip the beluga caviar, and you’ll have money to spare.

What’s up, dock?

A luxury yacht, named Adriatic Escape, docked at Split Marina with a weekly rental price of US$52,800

In real life, “Below Deck’s” favorite commercial-break cliff-hanger isn’t nearly as dramatic. Docking in our yacht, Via Croatia’s five-cabin, 100-foot Adriatic Escape (from $52,800 a week), was breezy.

I asked the crew if they hated setting up the slide — a tortuous, Herculean task if you believe what you see on TV.

“It’s not that bad,” a twentysomething Croatian deckhand, as cute as his on-screen counterparts, told me. “That said, we’re definitely not sad if you don’t ask for it.”

Play it cool

Barbie Pascual arranging a table on the set of Below Deck Season 11.

Despite being served meat on more than one occasion, my vegetarian co-guests on board weren’t divas when it came to cuisine — a major source of chef-related stress on the show.

Tantrums aren’t the norm Barbie Pascual, the “Below Deck” stewardess famous for putting up with former “RHONY” star Jill Zarin’s demands for the perfect Diet Coke in the “Real Housewives of Grenada” episode, tells me. “Guests know they are being filmed so their reactions are more extreme than they’d be if the cameras weren’t around,” she says.

Pascual’s biggest tip for first-time yachters? Don’t go skinny dipping, like they do on the show, after dark.

“People forget about currents, sharks, etc.,” she says. “Jumping in the water should always be with the captain’s consent!”

Our humorless Croatian yacht captain was a far cry from “Below Deck Mediterranean’s” affable Captain Sandy Yawn. I think we only saw him twice over the course of four days, and he definitely didn’t join us for dinner.

That was fine by us because the stews and deckhands were always handy with anything we needed — including at chat.

Asking for it

A group of people on the Adriatic Escape boat, available for weekly rent at $52,800

“No” is a word you’ll never hear on a yacht, unless there is a safety issue, Pascual says.

While we didn’t ask our crew to do a striptease or decorate for ‘70s night (two recurring requests on the show), out-there demands aren’t out of the question, as long as you’re willing to pay for it.

For example, Via Croatia is currently retrofitting one of its multimillion-dollar superyachts for an upcoming charter booked by a multigenerational Jewish family from Florida.

“In addition to paying the charter fee, the client is literally buying everything new: pots, pans, silverware, et cetera,” said Androić. “They’re even spending $30,000 on a new tender for the elderly mother-in-law.”

Now, I’m no reality show producer, but a picky primary trying to keep his wife, her elderly mom and their kosher kids happy at sea has the makings of an Emmy Award-winning episode.

Yachting on a budget

Agape Rose, an ultra luxury mini cruiser yacht with various amenities, sailing on Croatia's Adriatic coast.

Charters are cheapest at the beginning and end of a destination’s season. Via Croatia’s yuppiest yacht, the 160-foot, 12-cabin Agape Rose , fetches $200,000 a week in July and August. But it’s just $164,000 a week in April and October. Divide that by 24 of your closest friends and family and it’s just $6,800 a person.

If that’s still too much, consider booking a yacht club suite on one of MSC Cruises ’ Mediterranean voyages.

Sure, you’ll be on a cruise liner, but for $1,659 a person you’ll be treated to seven nights of private butler service with a private pool and restaurant that the pleb passengers don’t even know exists.

Below Deck Sailing Yachts Gary King Thinks He Has Viewer Support Following Bad Behavior (Fans May Not Watch This Season)

Below Deck Sailing Yacht star Gary King has been banking on having viewer support amid some genuinely bad behavior, but fans may not tune in for the upcoming season of BDSY because of him . Gary has been a longtime member of the Below Deck Sailing Yacht team, having appeared on the series as First Officer since its second season. Working closely with Captain Glenn Shephard, Gary has been working well with the team professionally, but from a personal standpoint, things haven’t always been easy. Gary’s behavior has been questioned over the last year, creating issues for Below Deck Sailing Yacht .

Throughout Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 4, many Below Deck viewers began questioning how Gary treated women. While he was always friendly and open with his colleagues, Gary’s behavior was something that the women he worked with and the women he served aboard the charters were wary of . Gary, who’s in his 40s, was always a man who had more of a playboy attitude and consistently moved from partner to partner, flirty and at times inappropriate. When sexual misconduct allegations came out against Gary , Below Deck Sailing Yacht viewers weren’t surprised, but didn’t know if they should be supporting Gary.

20 Best Reality TV Shows Right Now

Reality TV is more popular than ever. With so many to choose from, here are some of the best reality TV shows to stream or watch right now.

Garys Sexual Misconduct Allegations Alienated Below Deck Viewers

He hasnt taken accountability.

Although Gary’s been actively denying the allegations lodged against him, it’s been clear that something happened during the filming of Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 4 that’s impacted the production entirely. Allegations lodged against Gary by a Below Deck franchise makeup artist detailing sexually aggressive behavior came to light after the reunion for the last season of the series, making it clear Gary was overstepping his boundaries. While Gary has vehemently denied the allegations , viewers have claimed they’re not interested in seeing him on Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 5 due to his potentially dangerous behavior not being taken seriously.

Gary Believes His Audience Is Still Supportive

He doesnt believe hes done anything wrong.

As Gary doesn’t believe he’s done anything wrong in the scope of his work on Below Deck Sailing Yacht, he’s been open about his fans staying supportive. While there have been some moments where Gary speaks up about the wave of viewers who haven’t been supporting him, many of his social media posts discuss the fact that he has Below Deck Sailing Yacht viewers behind him . While many have chosen not to support Gary , he believes that the audience of the series is still behind him. With Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 5 coming soon, Gary feels he’ll be celebrated.

Will Below Deck Sailing Yachts Ratings Tank?

Many wont want to support gary.

As Gary will likely be a part of Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 5 throughout the season, it’s possible that viewers make the decision not to support the show after all that he’s done. While the allegations against Gary aren’t confirmed , his behavior on the show prior to the allegations supports the idea that he would take things too far if given the opportunity. In choosing to believe the victim, Below Deck Sailing Yacht viewers may take a stand against the series for giving Gary a platform. It’s possible Below Deck Sailing Yacht ’s ratings could tank when it finally returns.

Being a stew on a superyacht is not for the faint of heart. Some stews just can’t handle the pressure. This list celebrates some of the biggest nightmares on Below Deck on the interior team. Whether it's because they were not able to do their job or because they just caused immense chaos below deck, these stews are remembered for all the wrong reasons.

Below Deck is the hit Bravo juggernaut that follows the lives of yachties living and working on some of the world's most luxurious superyachts. Showcasing the drama, hookups, and pressure of setting sail on the beautiful seas around the globe, Below Deck has proudly launched four spin-off series. Like any good reality show, disaster casting is sometimes just so juicy you can't look away.

10 Sierra Storm

'below deck', season 4.

Sierra Storm truly meant while during her time on the fourth season of Below Deck . The problem for her was her fellow crew just didn't like her. Perhaps unfairly so. Additionally, Sierra engages in a romantic entanglement with deckhand Kyle Dixon , which caused tension on board. When it came to the job at hand, Sierra couldn't handle the demands of the charter guests.

Sierra gets a bad rap as well as she was compared to the much superior work prowess of 2nd Stew , Emily Warburton-Adams . Maybe if Sierra was brought in with a different dynamic, her time on Below Deck would have resulted in a net positive.

Watch On Peacock

9 Jennifer Howell

'below deck', season 5.

She was just a mother who wanted to provide for her child. Jennifer Howell was a single mom who worked two jobs: stew and reality star. The latter she was much more proficient at. A good working interior team truly relies on the dynamics of the individuals that make up the team. Jennifer Howell, unfortunately, had a personality clash with Chief Stew Kate Chastain . They just did not see eye-to-eye, and it showed.

Jennifer had quite the polarizing presence during her time on Season 5. With the pool tainted against her, many other crew members were at odds with her. Sadly, Jennifer's work was not up to par, and Chastain would make comments at her expense. Howell had an engaging story to tell as a mother longing to provide a better life for her daughter, but being aboard megayacht Valor was a bit of a struggle.

8 Laura Betancourt

'below deck', season 6.

Laura Betancourt came into the season to save the day following Caroline Bedol 's quitting. Unfortunately for Betancourt, she came in hot, thinking she was better than her 3rd Stew position. She constantly undermined the rest of her team, trying to prove that she should be the one in charge.

By questioning Chief Stew Kate Chastain 's authority, she was already at odds. But she didn't improve her placement on the crew when she engaged in a boatmance with deckhand Ashton Pienaar . Laura was good at her job, she just didn't always have the best attitude. Sadly, that's the reputation she left with.

7 Magda Ziomek

'below deck down under', season 1.

Long-distance relationships are hard. Especially when you're virtually cut off from the world. Below Deck Down Under third stew Magda Ziomek missed her boyfriend so much that she got fired for it. Magda spent the season arguing on the phone with her boyfriend, to the point where she overused the data on the boat.

After Chief Stew Aesha Scott found Magda napping, it was finally time to cut the chord and fire Magda.

With a distraction preventing her from excelling at her job, even Captain Jason Chambers was infuriated by her work ethic. She also got friendly with enemy number one, Chef Ryan McKeown . After Chief Stew Aesha Scott found Magda napping, it was finally time to cut the chord and fire Magda. She showed potential, but without her willingness to do the job she was hired for at the best of her abilities, she had to go.

6 Laura Bileskaline

'below deck down under', season 2.

Sexual assault and sexual harassment are not OK in any workplace, even if hookups are commonplace onboard. Laura Bileskaline was all play and little work. She wanted to spend her time on motoryacht Northern Sun with the boys. As an employee during Season 2 of Below Deck Down Under , Laura was just selfish. She was constantly at odds, testing Chief Stew Aesha Scott .

When the charter guests left and the yachties went to play, Laura decided it was time to hookup with her crush, Boson Luke Jones , who was crushing on 3rd stew Margot Sisson . Due to a very unfortunate event, Luke was fired for sexually harassing Margot. And yet, Laura took his side, feigning any sympathy for her coworker's experience. It was also revealed that she was allegedly inappropriate with deckhand Adam Kodra when Luke denied her advances. It was a messy situation for everyone involved, but Captain Jason Chambers handled the situation exceptionally well .

5 Caroline Bedol

The yachting industry is not for the faint of heart. Caroline Bedol learned that the hard way. Throughout her time on Below Deck , she found herself having setback after setback. Caroline was another one who had a personality clash with Chief Stew Kate Chastain . When Caroline had some work-related injuries, she gained no sympathy from Kate, causing them to continue to be at odds.

Caroline simply couldn't handle the pressure and gave her two-day notice to Captain Lee Rosbach . But two days of the alleged torment onboard was just too much. So she cut it short. Caroline dramatically quit. She gave her notice and then just decided it was time to bounce. On her way out, she was famously taunted by Chief Stew Kate Chastain and 2nd Stew Josiah Carter , who celebrated by turning up the music to full blast under her door.

4 Natalya Scudder

'below deck mediterranean', seasons 7 and 8.

Before we begin, Natalya Scudder should be praised as an exceptional stew who was brilliant at her job. Perhaps a little too brilliant. The biggest drawback for Natalya was her facade. She was not as sweet and innocent as everyone thought she was. She was a master manipulator and was eager to tear anyone down in order to get ahead. During her first season, Natalya was part of the dream team with Chief Stew Tasha Webb and co-second stew Kyle Viljeon . But as the charter season went on, Natalya's closeness with both her coworkers would be something that would linger on when she stepped in to save the day at the start of Season 8.

Due to some quarantining issues that left Chief Stew Tumi Mhlongo and her bestie Kyle Viljeon out of the first charter, Captain Sandy Yawn tapped Natalya to be the temporary Chief Stew. The power certainly went to her head and when she was dropped down to 3rd Stew when the team officially assembled, she undermined Tumi's direction while creating a massive rivalry with Kyle. The brutal shift in personal and work dynamics caused the lowkey villain to resign.

3 Camille Lamb

'below deck', season 10.

Sometimes, having a resume that exclaims you are well versed in various positions on a yacht, you might be brought on to be the versatile hire. Camille Lamb was hired as a deck/stew, a position that Below Deck usually doesn't show. Camille wanted to be out in the sun and work with the exterior team, but she was needed much more in the interior. And she showed just how annoyed she was having to work with fellow stew Alissa Humber .

Since Alissa had stronger bonds with Chief Stew Fraser Olender and Chef Rachel Hargrove , she often found no one taking her side. So she complained. Who did she complain to? Her new boatmance, Ben Willoughby . Between her combative attitude and drinking on the job, Fraser had enough. In the end, Camille was fired, but she was still a major presence during the season. She kept in close contact with Ben throughout the season and made a surprise return when she learned that her rival, Alissa, was fired later that season.

2 Lexi Wilson

'below deck mediterranean', season 6.

Below Deck is a show that blends reality with reality television. Some yachties are there to do their job and know they just so happen to have cameras following their every move. Others, well, they are just ripe for television. Such was the case for Below Deck Mediterranean 's Lexi Wilson . When Lexi first arrived during Season 6, she shared her personal story with viewers and her new coworker Courtney Veale .

As Courtney was dealing with her father having Alzheimer's, Lexi revealed she had lost her father three months prior to joining the crew of Lady Michelle. Lexi was a very opinionated person, and after a crew night out, a dark side of Lexi was revealed. She became quite mouthy with Chief Stew Katie Flood and Boson Malia White . She then got into a physical altercation with deckhand Mzi Dempers . After getting in a huge fight with Chef Matthew Shea , she was finally dismissed from her position. The crew was thrilled to see her go as Lexi solidified herself as a villain in the world of Below Deck .

1 Rocky Dakota

'below deck', season 3.

Raquel "Rocky" Dakota is a legend in the history of Below Deck . As one of the most colorful characters the show has ever known, there has never been anyone like Rocky. While it seems like a trend if you work under Chief Stew Kate Chastain , her interior team always has a punching bag. That person was Rocky. But some fans would claim that Rocky did that to herself. To start the season off, she created a very close bond with the super sweet deckhand Emile Kotze . He fell for her but she friendzoned him.

That didn't sit well with many of her coworkers, especially when she was engaged in a secret boatmance with Boson Eddie Lucas , who had a girlfriend back home. On top of all that, Rocky had a close bond with the controversial Chef Leon Walker . When he was fired, she lashed out at Kate for his dismissal, and she even tried to get herself fired by jumping off the boat and venturing to another yacht nearby. Already being down some crewmembers, they had to keep her around. Rocky had a big personality. Many onboard found it off-putting. Rocky made for excellent television, but perhaps not the best coworker. And if she ever serves you oysters, just ask if there's any grenadine on top.

Below Deck Mediterranean Crew Devastated by Unexpected Death of Loved One

Below deck mediterranean 's season nine deckhand nathan gallager received heartbreaking news about the death of a close friend during the bravo series' sept. 2 episode..

One Below Deck Mediterranean yachtie is grieving a tragic loss.

During the Bravo series' Sept. 2 episode, season nine Deckhand Nathan Gallager received news that one of his best friends died while he was away at sea—and he was understandly devastated.

"So, I get this text saying that my friend has passed away from cancer," the Ireland native explained in a confessional. "I knew he had cancer, but the night before I came to join the boat, we were out drinking. He wasn't drinking but he seemed okay. Thinking about the memories and things like that, it's a lot of information to gather at once and I'm just pushing that aside for now."

Later, while the entire crew was enjoying a night off by partying together in Greece, Nathan's boatmance partner, fellow Deckhand Gael Cameron , noticed he wasn't quite himself. And on the ride back to the boat, he finally shared the unfortunate news to Gael and Chief Stew Aesha Scott .

Once back at the dock, Nathan finally let his emotions out.

"I don't know why I'm so sensitive but I'm so sad," Nathan confessed to Gael in tears, to which she comforted him by replying, "Who cares if you're sensitive, man? You're going through s--t. It's okay. You're allowed to be sad sometimes."

However, he noted, "It's really f--king hard though. I'm really struggling to cope with it."

In a confessional, Nathan explained why his loved one's passing was particularly overwhelming.

"My mom was going through tests for cancer recently," he shared. "She's been cleared now, thankfully. I found out through my sister. My mom didn't tell me directly. Grief and things like this isn't something we talk about. I definitely tend to push people away. I'm doing what my mom does."

And after Aesha informed Nathan's BFF, fellow Deckhand Joe Bradley , of his grieving, Joe offered him all the support in the world.

"It must be so hard for Nathan to deal with this," Joe reflected in a confessional. "Like, I couldn't remotely imagine. He's a brother to me at this point, so I'm gonna be there for Nathan. Whatever he needs, we'll get done. I want to show him that he's got me."

In the end, the heartbreaking incident actually brought Nathan and Gael closer together.

As she explained in a confessional, "It's definitely a different side of Nathan. He obviously has a very sensitive spot that he doesn't show that often and it just hurts to see him upset. I feel like Nathan was there for me when I was going through a hard time with my ex, and I just want him to know that I'm here for him too."

Below Deck Mediterranean airs Mondays at 9 p.m. on Bravo.

Why Kate Chastain Should Host Below Deck Reunions

By Amy DeVore

Kate Chastain should host all Below Deck reunions!

You can take Below Deck away from Kate Chastain , but Kate’s impact on this series will always remain intact. From Seasons 2 – 7, Kate reigned supreme as BD’s resident Chief Stew. Kate’s wit, snark, and work ethic all helped to turn this franchise around, which made her self-imposed exit super sad. However, Kate still keeps a white-gloved finger in the mix, as she often clocks in to comment on her former series. But if you ask me, this franchise would excel all the more if Bravo allowed Kate to start hosting the Below Deck reunions.

Kate Chastain knows the yachting industry better than most

In 2023, Kate appeared on Malia White’s podcast, where they discussed Kate’s longstanding career in the yachting industry. Kate stepped onto her first yacht in 2007, but this was not her original game plan. However, this employment opportunity presented itself after Kate graduated from UCF, just in time to save our little oceany legend from her self-described quarter-life crisis. Thankfully, her communications degree helped, as her studies aided her liaison responsibilities once onboard.

A job in the yachting industry demands way more than counting out white gumballs for picky charter guests . One wrong move can create disastrous consequences, affecting the lives of the crews, their guests, and their assigned vessels. Therefore, nautical regulations and terms are not just passing storylines. But Maritime Law has lent us some decent, albeit frustrating narratives, which, IYKYK.

In all, Kate spent over a decade in yachting. If anyone can speak on ship shows, it would be her. Kate knows how this stuff works and what kills a charter. She is also quick on her feet, so with her knowledge base as high as it is, she could create follow-up questions for days, ensuring zero yachties walk away unscathed.

If Kate hosted the reunions for Below Deck, she could even call out aspects that the current host, Andy Cohen , might not be aware of, like how many hours a day a lazy crew member can legally spend on a break. I can already hear her calling out certain unnamed yachties. Lawd, we need Kate to start hosting these nautical reunions, STAT.

Kate Chastain loves the Below Deck franchise

Even though she walked the plank in 2020, Kate still keeps up with her former series. From online posting to starring in other series that further delve into the Below Deck franchise, Kate is still in the background, helping to keep her former ship afloat.

Shortly after her exit, Bravo created a new series for Kate called Couch Talk . During each episode, she and another Below Deck alum, Captain Lee Rosbach , discussed Below Deck (and other series) in depth. Their last episode of Couch Talk (sadly) aired in 2023.

Thankfully, Bravo brought Kate back once again in 2024. She is now starring alongside Aesha Scott on the Below Deck Mediterranean After Show. While this is only a few minutes of airtime each week, Kate wastes zero seconds, as always, quickly inserting her opinions on everything from boatmances to entitled stews. She often says what many viewers think, further cementing my take that she would make an excellent BD reunion host.

Kate also has a deep history of the events that have already transpired on Below Deck. Mutter the words beef cheeks, mermaid tales, or even toxic crew members in her general direction and watch Kate quickly recall when these storylines occurred and who was involved. Her longevity with this franchise also means she is keenly aware of the staple cast members and returning charter guests. Should any of these former storylines, guests, or crew members need to be recalled, Kate is the right one for the job.

Andy slays, but Real Housewives are his home

Andy is the current host for every reunion shown on Bravo. He does an amazing job, but it’s clear the Real Housewives series has his heart. His career has evolved alongside many of these Housewives for years, so his friendships with these casts are solid. He has even gotten to know several of their families, so when I say he is invested, he’s invested.

The rough part about Below Deck is that the cast list changes every season within every spinoff across this franchise. That’s a ton of names for one host to catalog, especially with all of Andy’s other responsibilities. But just as the Real Housewives series is to Andy, so is the Below Deck series for Kate. If this were her sole job, Kate would learn every name, every scandal, and every backstory, and she would bring these receipts, proof(s), and timelines to help her recap each completed charter season like a well-oiled machine.

But also, most of these reunions have to take place over Zoom, as these yachties return to other vessels once they depart from Bravo’s lenses. With crew members living and working abroad, getting everyone to travel to New York City for a proper sitdown has proven difficult in recent years. But guess who is always open to hating more than one person (over Zoom)? It’s Kate.

So, Bravo, let’s make Kate’s Below Deck reunion hosting gig happen.

Below Deck is currently streaming on Peacock.
